From start to finish, my experience with this service was above expectations. I started a quote…read moreonline for one ReloCube that would need to go from NJ to FL. It sat in my "account" for weeks before doing anything with it and when it became time to get more serious I needed more information before pulling the trigger. So, I called... The person I spoke to was extremely helpful. They answered all the questions I had and with everything sounding good to go it was time to book it. Then hearing that summer was their peak moving time and that people usually book a couple of months in advance I thought I should have done this sooner! Well, there was a cancellation in the coming week, so I took the slot! When it came time for the ReloCube to be delivered it was actually easy to call the local service center for ABF. It was nice to begin talking to someone who was actually listening when I booked the move. Speaking to someone who actually seemed to care at the local dispatch point was unexpected. The delivery happened a bit after my scheduled window of time, but this was communicated to be the case when I called them for an update. The person that delivered the ReloCube took time to explain how to open, close, and lock it. I still needed to buy a lock but what I did not know is that more or less these Cubes are always inside trailers or a building, so the lock is extra protection but not the primary protection. His only other words of advice for me was to pack it tight. Yes, I think reading one of the reviews somewhere a person talked about how you just need to make sure things can't shift around. Like packing a trunk of a car. I think as with an empty room the Cube seems bigger than it actually is. If you really need to move 100% of what you have, and you have big items, I would take the time to plan the pack out on paper. Yes, I really mean this. For me, not everything had to go, but getting some local labor to help I wanted to take advantage of it as much as possible. In the end, I had to scratch my head a few times to figure out the load in, but I got it on paper and when the labor was here there was zero extra time needed to sort that out. I just told them what went where and it was all good. To help keep the large items from moving around I bought Ratchet Tie-Down Straps with S-Hooks from Home Depot. They were cheap enough that I did not care if they made it back this way again. As for the items inside the ReloCube, "shrink" wrap, cardboard, and those fiber shopping bags (if you live in NJ and do InstaCart you know what I mean) were keys to a tight pack. Done and locked I scheduled a pickup. Though I did not need to be there I saw it on its way. Amazingly the ABF number can be entered in the Parcel app I used to track Amazon, UPS, USPS, etc, and it actually seemed to give a better sense as to where it was than the actual tracking website. On the other end it arrived at the very beginning of the delivery window (in days) which was wonderful. The driver on that side was probably the only ding I could give the entire process. A bit too much in a rush to the point where I really didn't think he was listening to me. However, the Cube was eventually placed where I wanted it and when I opened it up it looked like it never left New Jersey. I unloaded, remembered to not lock it up, and scheduled the pickup, which happened without my further interaction. As for value? I did not get quotes from anywhere else. Considering the smoothness of the process I experienced I would certainly use them again though I think the space inside the Cube might be a challenge for certain items. We will see...

I took on this company based on an amazing recommendation...and after talking to the salesperson Tony, he convinced me to go with them - good rate (decently priced, professionalism, and timing). i won't even get into the hypes as there are so few - but gripes - i have plenty: my GRIPES with SCAM-io: 1. They didn't come to do a walk through to see what all we had - and gave us a quote of 1500 dollars for the entire move ( we had a 2 bed 1.5 bath) 2. the quote was 1500 dollars but they ended up charging us MORE THAN 3000. 3. There were HIDDEN CHARGES which we argued we were not told upfront - bc they couldn't finish packing all in time, they required to keep our stuff overnight and move us the next day - there was a $200 OVERNIGHT fee for this. 4. They said they were sending me 4 guys to pack - they sent only 3 the days of. The guys did an OK job packing but WASTED a lot of material that didn't need it (used unnecessary amounts of paper to double wrap things that weren't delicate or needed it), picture boxes for things that weren't glass or fine paintings). 5. we were charged $800 in PACKING MATERiALS - like boxes and paper (note: most of the boxes were not full to the brim and paper was double wrapped as I discovered when unpacking) 6. TRAVEL FEE: like WTH is this. They charged us 100 dollars for a "travel fee" of the time it took to pick up their truck from their place to come to our apartment, and another 100 for the way back. So for two days that was another BOGUS $400 charge. 7. and in the end we had to get SCAM-io'ed and pay them bc they refused to deliver our stuff unless we paid them in CASH before they delivered. YOU SUCK SCAMIO. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO GO WITH THEM.

During the Thanksgiving holiday window they picked up several roomfuls of furniture and art from my Grandma's house in New Jersey and delivered the property to Virginia without leaving behind damage or packaging. Then I had to escort him to the storage unit that we've been using since last November. Our move took place over a couple of days. An hour and 1/2 with four guys for the storage unit on Monday. It was two offloading the 12 x 10 space, while the other two uploading their truck. Then this past Wednesday 5 guys took care of our home. The key here is getting that Parking permit that was recommended by Lou. It only cost us $30 for the day. If you don't have a driveway and or garage this is definitely the way to go. It was right in front of our home and good from 8-4. Only took them another 3 hours total to empty out the house and delivery to our new condo. Butch was the chief both days and did a fabulous job with his crew along with Carlos, Carlito and Mike. Thanks guys for making this an easy move.
