Please stay away from this service!! They are terrible. My furniture was damaged before it even left the store and because I needed to drive to the store to view the damage I was charged an overtime fee that basically doubled the cost of the delivery. The entire process was a nightmare and so inconvenient. In the end I ended up with a damaged piece of furniture and an overtime fee. I was charged originally $164 for an 8 minute drive from the store to my home. But because they damaged my furniture I had to drive to the store and review the damage. The total delivery charge is now $300, it's insane. I contacted the company and they are not understanding and do not care. This company is a scam and completely irresponsible. I am extremely disappointed in the company and its service. I am an expecting mother and I bought furniture from buybuy baby who works with goshare as the delivery company. I followed all delivery steps to order a delivery and asked that they send two persons to deliver my furniture to the second floor. When the drivers arrived they came with their own truck and there was no indication that they work for goshare. Not a problem because they had my furniture. I showed the helpers the room they need to bring the furniture into and discussed all details and pointed out which furniture needs assembly. The helpers were inexperienced and not trustworthy. They didn't properly wrap my furniture cause many dents and damages to my walls while bringing the furniture to the second floor and scratched my floor and stairs well as damaged the furniture. In the beginning of the service they both spoke in English. Once the damage was done, they started speaking to each other in Spanish and pretending like they don't speak English. They also suddenly wanted to leave premises stating that they have another delivery to complete. They wanted to leave without completing the job and they didn't take any of the boxes with them. I reported incident to the company and the company doesn't want to take any responsibility for the helpers actions. Extremely waste of time and huge damage to property. Do not use this company because they scam consumers and are not true to their words. Their claims department doesn't have the decency to call me or send a specialist for evaluation. Instead, they send me emails defending why they won't pay for damages caused by their employees. When we purchased a patio set at Homegoods we were told we had to use GoShare for delivery. We agreed on a price for delivery but that price changed after because it took a long Time. We requested delivery at 2 pm on Sunday and he didn't leave the store until 2pm. The parkway is always backed up at that time. This should have been considered by the driver. In addition he did not follow our explicit instructions adding additional time. We were charged $57 altogether. This is a bait and switch operation. Do not use Go Share! read more

The mover showed up without a 'helper' though I had specified that a large dining room table that seats 8 will be moved. The truck the mover showed up in would not fit the table anyway. I was not asked what kind of vehicle I needed for the move when I filled out the order form online, so am guessing someone from the company must have added it. The company tried to then charge me extra if I rescheduled the move with something they called a Box truck. When I said that the mistake was theirs and that they should provide a larger vehicle at no cost to me, they hemmed and hawed, and then informed me that they were cancelling the order altogether. In addition, I only received the call that no helper was coming when I had already arrived at the place where I was moving the table from (not my house). Which means I wasted a morning getting there instead of being called ahead of time to be informed that there was no helper available. Was excited to find a van service like this, needed to move 5 large paintings a total of 5 blocks. Didn't read the 12,000 (!) word terms of service, turns out they won't move artwork. The reason for this bad review isn't that they won't move art, it's because instead of simply canceling the job and explaining the issue - they actually LOCK the account for 2 or 3 days! The slap on the wrist is really unnecessary. They PUNISH their customers for not reading the 12,000 word Terms of Service! As if their customers are trying to pull one over on them. I used go share for my local move , requested a driver plus a helper, the guy brought his young girlfriend as the helper, it was obvious that she was not an expert mover since we had to join in and help, at the end they charged as much as they could eventhough my wife and i had to assist, very disappointed read more

Easy enough to set up pick up from the app in the store. HOWEVER, THESE PEOPLE ARE BY NO MEANS EXPERTS AND HAVE LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE IN MOVING. I was moving a large dresser/credenza from HomeGoods into assisted living for my mother. This is a trying time for everyone and there is a two day move in period. The "movers" picked up the credenza and I met them at the room for delivery. (The guys from HomeGoods loaded it into their truck). They did not lay a blanket over the item, did not tape the drawers shut and the "assistant" could not lift the item, even though I put the correct weight in the app (up to 250 lbs). When they were bringing it into the room, instead of removing the legs for delivery and reinstalling, they left the legs on, turned it is side and put all the pressure on one leg leaving it on the ground because the one man was so inexperienced and weak he couldn't lift it, causing the wooden leg to snap in pieces. The other man wanted to "fix it", how? Gorilla glue. Spare me. Then they wasted an hour trying to locate another leg to be shipped and put on later and the man looked at me and said..."I'll stay cause I get paid by the minute. It doesn't matter to me." Well, it matters to me. Credit card dispute pending. My delivery fee was estimated between 89.00 and 149.00 (The building is less than 5 miles away, same town) and they are trying to charge me 242.00 and the $650.00 dresser is now broken. The only reason I am giving this one star is because the driver and helper they supplied were phenomenal. As far as GO SHARE goes they get a thumbs down. My sister broke her hip and I needed to pickup a lift recliner from a warehouse in North Bergen, NJ to be delivered to Cliffside Park, NJ about a 15 minute drive. I supplied all the info and booked the pickup. I was then texted by someone who told me the address I put in for pickup was in New York. Finally we got the address straight. Low and behold the morning of the pickup the driver called and he was sent to Ridgewood,NJ about 30 minutes away. I was then told by customer service my job was being cancelled because it was out of my area. After an hour of "chatting" on line they agreed to do the job. The day I booked they charged my card $143 (cost of the job) today they charged my card $136 (actual cost of job) when I "chatted" again with them they told me this is normal practice and my refund will come in 2 to 3 business days. UNACCEPTABLE! BEWARE. After all the anguish they caused me through their incompetence they should be giving me a refund not holding onto my money. I was very disappointed with this service. No way to contact a live person and if it's possible to be rude in a CHAT that's how I was treated. Look elsewhere. read more

Scheduled a pick up from Costco because I needed a bookshelf delivered and it did not fit in my car. They said they would pick it up by the end of business day that day...never did. Never called. Nothing. After reaching someone through their chat service I agreed to rescheduled for the next morning...guess what?!? NO SHOW NO CALL AGAIN!! This is NOT a professional company. They do not hire professional people. They hire ppl like you and me that need extra cash and are in the neighborhood. They are like an Uber moving company. I have used Goshare 3-4 times and each time it was flawless. The drivers were on time, helpful, courteous and patient with all the moves. The pricing was comparable to the vehicle, hours spent and task. I highly recommend Goshare for any quick moves. read more

I had a move with GoShare this past Saturday and while the movers were very nice, one of them was taking his time to "run" the clock. The other mover was more fair, so I almost feel bad writing this review. I was moving my 1 room (just the bedroom, nothing else) and my bf and I even broke down the queen bed, moved some things to the front, etc. to speed up the whole move but unfortunately it took over 2 hours to complete the move (I was also moving just down the road, about a 5 min drive!). In the end, I thought I was being cost efficient with GoShare but ended up paying the same amount with other moving companies with a fixed rate. read more

GoShare is amazing! We purchased a large china cabinet and my husband hurt his back and was unable to help move it. We tried moving companies who would either quote us an insane amount for one piece of furniture or they backed out at the last minute. Found GoShare and decided it try it out for the price. Our team of Brett and Juan were awesome - they were easy to get a hold of, very professional and polite, and showed up on time with everything we needed for the move.
