I contacted various movers as her previous plans to get the chair moved fell through. Big Stuff movers were quick to respond to my request for a price quote. I contacted 3 different companies and only Big Stuff movers and another company quickly contacted me back. I wanted the chair moved within the next two days but they were booked until the weekend. I got their price quote and thought they were reasonable. I got the other price quote from the other moving company and they were ridiculously priced. I agreed to wait until the weekend so the Big Stuff movers could move the recliner. I made a small deposit when I booked and the reminder was due upon delivery. They were excellent in responding to my text messages. The day of the move the mover wore a mask and covers on his shoes and went upstairs, disassembled the recliner and took it to my sister's house and reassembled the recliner. My mom is very happy now she has her recliner and can get up without the need of assistance. Thank you Big Stuff movers for helping my mom with her recliner. If you need to move an item or a whole house you can expect excellent service, a good price and a company that cares.

So I text to see what the deal is only to find out he is by 1604 and marbach...and it's already about to be 4pm. So by the time he would have arrived it would have been close to 5... Everyone in SA KNOWS traffic is bad... So because of time constraints I had to cancel AGAIN.... *********** So I'm actually extremely pissed. This past week I needed movers. The guy agreed 930am-1030... Then the next day messaged me and said if 230-3 was ok... I guess he saw I didn't respond and then sent another saying that the initial time was ok. So today I'm waiting and he called saying he had to move it to 1230. I didn't mind so I said ok. Then he blew me off again and said 230-3. I get it but I feel like he already knew that he wasn't gunna do the 930 am and was gunna bullsht me until 230.... Why? Because the message he sent the day before. I have a schedule too, your not the only one. I had to cancel and now I'm stuck without a mover for anything.

When I scheduled the move, I was told the crew would arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, but the main crew did not arrive until about 9:48 AM. The crew leader then claimed they were not scheduled to start until 10:00 AM, contradicting what I was told when booking. The crew was inefficient throughout the move. They handled furniture carelessly during disassembly and even asked us for tools because they lacked the necessary equipment. They also arrived late to the storage unit and claimed they got lost, causing further delays that made it seem as though time and charges were being unnecessarily extended. I raised these concerns with Rico, the owner. Although he adjusted the bill, I later learned through my husband that his employees were listening to our private conversation on speaker while they were on mute, which I found highly unprofessional. The crew leader also gave Rico inaccurate information, claiming he arrived earlier than he actually did and that they had trouble accessing the apartment complex. My daughter and son were present and know neither claim was true. Overall, there were too many inconsistencies, excuses, and instances of dishonesty. A simple one-bedroom move should not have taken as long as it did, especially compared to larger moves our family has completed. I chose this company based on its reviews, but my experience was awful. Due to the poor professionalism, communication, efficiency, and respect for the customer's time and money, I would not use this company again or recommend it to others.
