Our job was replacing flooring on the top floor of a split level that included removing tile in the entry and kitchen. We knew our flooring under the carpet was subpar from the carpet install 24 years prior and we expressed this to the salesman from Andy's several times. He assured us they could fix it. The measure, product choices and quote all went smoothly and we had an install date set for 1 month out in October. We started moving furniture downstairs in preparation. The day before the product delivery the sales rep from Andy's told us that it had not arrived. We were given a new install date in November but when the date arrived, same story. Now our install date was early December. The Sales Rep from Andy's apologized and added free furniture move due to the delays so we left our 4 pieces of leather furniture upstairs. Again, no product and install was set for Monday after Christmas. The initial install attempts had been scheduled for a 4 day install but this one was only for 3 and during a holiday week. On day of install, crew didn't show up until after 10am and left about 5pm. The install crew was short one person and had forgotten the tool to remove tile. Someone delivered it several hours later. Removing the tile created tons of dust. None of our furniture, countertops or appliances were covered. The installer complained constantly about our floor level and that he didn't have enough time to do a good job although the crew were very seldom here for a full 8 hours. The 3rd day they left at 4pm as it was New Year's Eve. They had to come back New Year's Day to complete the install. Bottom line we are happy with the final product result. We don't know if the problems of material delivery were in fact the product company or Andy's incompetence. We will place the problems with install on Andy's as they did not give the installers adequate time to do a good job. Especially during a holiday week. We were left with a HUGE mess to clean up with tile dust thick on our furniture, walls, appliances, kitchen, etc. Our free furniture moving for compensation was not performed. We also had to have the installer come back later to clean up glue that was smeared on the new flooring. Although the Andy's rep was communicative and easy to reach, I would not recommend Andy's.

There are noticeable gaps around both the front and back doors after the flooring installation. The flooring was also poorly cut and fitted around corners, leaving uneven joints and an unprofessional finish. In addition, the baseboards were not included in the project. I noticed that floor is not evenly laid out. Overall, the installation lacked attention to detail and quality. We expected professional workmanship but were left with multiple issues that now require additional repairs. I would not recommend this company based on my recent experience.

He was friendly and polite. He did fine laying downing the flooring over our old hardwood floor. It was a 2 day job and both days he came much later than he told us he would. Towards the end of day 2 he was running out of time to finish. He was also not very good with the quality of the finishing. He had to cut a couple of floor registers because the trim he put in was too wide for the registers to fit back in place. The edge was jagged and he tried to cover it up with caulking. It looked very messy. Because he was running so late a couple of older employees came in to help him. They were good at cutting the angles on the trim. There was a large gap between the end of the floor planks and the door going into the garage. They filled the space with clear silicone. It looked very messy and as time went on it looked dirty because it was sticky. When the owner asked for final payment I paid immediately. He also asked if I was happy with the job. It told him about the registers and the gap by the garage door. He said not to worry and that he would make it "perfect". Over the next 2 1/2 months Dymitry, the owner said they would be there soon to fix it. They never followed through. Finally an appointment and time was set but once again they failed to show up on time. I waited over 2 hours. Dymitry always texted that he would be coming so I was very surprised that the person who showed up to make it "perfect" was the same young guy who had made it messy in the first place. He did smooth out and paint the registers. The gap was filled with black silicone and still looks messy and unfinished. I would not recommend this company.

In mid-July 2021 we pulled up carpeting to discover solid oak flooring in three rooms on the lower…read morelevel of the home owned by my daughter and son-in-law.. Our initial elation was tempered a little when we uncovered some badly patched areas that we thought might not be able to be repaired. But then we contacted Hardwood Perfections. They came out quickly and advised us that indeed they could repair all of the damage and could do it on a timetable that fit perfectly into our plans. The floor refinishing crew did amazing work. After pulling up all of the damaged materials they rebuilt portions of the subfloor and then laced in new oak boards in a way that matched the existing floor perfectly. Next were several rounds of sanding to remove the old finish and even out everything. On the third and final day they applied Bona Natural water-based sealer followed by three coats of Bona matte finish. The results were stunning. Hardwood Perfections completely transformed this living space into something beautiful and amazing. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was flawless. All along the way we were advised of what was happening so there were never any surprises. Hardwood Perfections finished the job a full day ahead of schedule, did amazing work and stuck right to the estimate for services. Everything was fantastic and I heartily recommend them to anyone seeking to have old floors refinished or renewed. Hats off to Slav, Silviu and William for their truly amazing work.

Glad we covered things, that was not done or done very well. Slav said they would move the range and seal there, they didn't. Said they would remove the trim, not looking like they did. Now wondering about under the fridge. Why write this? I was not home for this work, recommend that you see that what was agreed to is done. I paid for those things. Getting refund for range and sealing off rooms, but would rather have had the work done right than discover what wasn't done. As for the refinishing, they nailed the loose boards I identified and sanded/sealed. Looks good.
