Made an appointment the day before there employee inspected my tires everything was fine made appointment for the next day dropped my truck off at 330 I gave them my phone number that day and next day when I gave them my truck I sat across street watching you tube they pull my truck up and it sits there I watch them do other peoples tires who just drove up so after no call and waiting for 1 hr 14 min they said they tried to call if they would have checked my appointment the day prior they could have contacted me but to lazy I guess whole place is a joke and scammers said they couldn't change my tires because an issue with my front tires made an appointment didn't do what was promised didn't communicate were lazy didn't communicate.lady behind desk was awesome very nice don't go there a bad service no respect for other peoples time horrible communication just a bad business all together read more

I brought my car to Gosslin's to have the tires balanced and they also checked the brakes I made a follow up appointment for brake replacement and repair. First issue was the noise coming from my tires after the balance. They got me back in, took off the tires, drove around and found no issues, although the noise was gone afterwards. Hmmm. Yesterday they did the brake job, then today when I drove the car, it made a loud clunking noise every time I stopped, so I had to return home. Since it's Friday now, they can't get me in until next week . The biggest issue? My plans to go out of town for a special weekend with old friends is cancelled because of their poor workermanship. We got a slow leak flat on our car tire. We took it to the business that we originally bought the tire from 2 years ago. The tire is a little less then half way through its life, so we wanted to get it fixed. The original business said they couldn't fix the tire and tried to sell us a new one. We decided to try another tire service. We took the car to Gosselin and sons. They were friendly, professional, and they fixed the tire. We couldn't be happier with their service. I got into Eureka around 3:30pm and the hotel I was staying in was right across the street. I hopped over and asked if they could get me fixed up today since I have to head back to Redding the next day. They were happy to squeeze me in. I had hoped it was just a nail but after inspecting it was not repairable. They didn't have the tire in stock but they got me a used one to get me back home which was greatly appreciated. My girlfriend and I are on a camping trip on our way to Eugene, OR from Santa Barbara, CA and we had a flat driver-side inner rear tire on our Airstream Interstate. AAA refused to help us or even come and put air in the tire even though I pay for the "Plus RV" service. Going to cancel AAA and switch to Good Sam when we get home. VERY, VERY DISSAPOINTED IN AAA. Firestone directed us to Tony Gosselin & Sons and said they could handle big rigs and would take care of us. When we arrived at Tony Gosselin & Sons we met T.J. and he took us right in and completely handled the problem. They pulled off the rear wheels and pull off the one flat rear tire to check for any damage. Fortunately, there wasn't any tire damage. The problem was the valve stem. We replaced the valve stems on both rear inner wheels and got back on the road. T.J. was really great and I can't praise him enough for making what could have been a very stressful situation easy-peasy. Blew out one of wheel barrings took it to Tony's Gosselin and sons . Omg they were so awesome. I had hoped it was a low tier thumping or perhaps tire separating. They checked found it to be the barring on front driver side. Fixed it fast and everyone was super friendly. Excellent tire store, locally owned for decades. I've had 2 new tires replaced. This week it was time for the tires to be rotated. Simple yes? Not here. They thoroughly inspected each tire, rotated them and updated the cars computer for the next rotation. Tire rotation was free because I purchased tires there. My regular mechanic wanted to charge for this service. Gosselin tires should be your tire store. Support locally owned business. They have interesting articles hanging about the history of Gosselin. Wow wow wow! This place truly made my day. I took my car into a different tire shop that tried to rip me off and make me get new tires and new brakes. I went to Gosselin tires today and they gave me truthful solid information about my car and what needed to be done, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and were upfront and honest with me. It's hard to find a place that is reliable and helpful. This was one of the best experiences I have had dealing with my car and I will for sure be back here to get my brakes, alignment and tires worked on. Very honest and good people!!! For over 40 years, I have only purchased tires from Gosselin Tire. This is a family business. The children took over many years ago and their children have been working there for years. Many family businesses have not survived but this one has thrived. The reason is because the tires are competitively priced and their repair work is excellent. Since I purchased my tires from Gosselin, rotations are free. Each rotation, they check the brakes and other mechanical issues to be sure the car is safe. Several times they have found safety issues, repairs were recommended and authorized by me immediately. I feel so safe with Gosselin watching out for me. There has never been any issue with the quality of their work or their tires. Try to find any business that has a track record even close to this. Supporting "local" businesses who live, work and hire local people is a must. They spend their money here and so do their employees. They keep tax revenues here which helps Humboldt County survive. **BUYER BEWARE** Called and asked for a quote for 2 trailer tires. Gave them the specific name, brand size, everything. Was told they had them and was quoted at $230 for both tires fully mounted and balanced. Not only do they take more than an hour past when they said they would be done, the tires are no the ones I had asked for. They are a cheaper sub model. Then they try and upcharge me more for mounting and balancing the tires despite telling me that it would be $230 out the door for the better tires I was no longer receiving. Sorry no stars. Went in for just a patch because we ran over a screw (mind you, I am currently 9 months pregnant and our tire was extremely flat, as in NOT safe to drive...ok) and the owner of the shop asked us to come back in the afternoon (it was 8 am when we came in) Obviously that wasn't going to be possible as this is our only vehicle at the moment and we needed it...so my husband started to put the spare on so we could at least leave and the owner asked us to leave the parking lot because of "liability" yet did not offer to help change the spare. I understand liability and what not, but I also understand that that was completely ridiculous of him to ask us to go somewhere else to change a spare when he could have helped us within 10 minutes. We will definitely not be back thats for sure. I do want to thank Jacob for coming up to us eventually and taking over, if it wasn't for him we would have had to finish the job ourselves. read more

First, when I called them a few minutes before closing, they gave me the name of other tire dealers when they didn't have it in stock.
