If I could give this man a negative 10 it still would be to good a review. He showed up without prior notice. He claimed this was his practice if in the area. Canceled the first appointment date, showed up again with no notice. We were told give it 1 week to see the pigeons will be totally gone(NOT)! When we called a week later he came and put (a catch and release cage) on our roof. It's a month later and he hasn't been back, he did respond to phone call to tell us he's on vacation in the UK. We wanted a humane solution...now we have more pigeons than before and dead ones on the roof in his ( humane cage). DON'T USE THIS NO GOOD LIAR!!!!! Another reason we went with him was the fact he claims to be a veteran. We come from a military family and always try to use their services. I doubt at this point that he could be a veteran being he shows NO HONOR!!! read more

So, I finally came to the realization I had a pigeon problem. Pigeons had roosted and had babies on the roof of my house for years (mostly via previous owner). It was not uncommon to see 15-20 pigeons on my roof when all the roofs in the surrounding area had none. If I made loud clapping noises to scare the pigeons, they would all leave the roof at once, make a wide circle and all land right back on my roof... this was their home. I had pigeon poop in my pool every morning and they would bomb the walkway to the front door at the roof line. When I moved into the home, it wasn't as noticeable, but had gotten worse with time. Colin was able to offer some great advice on what to do and came up with a plan. Four weeks later, the pigeons are gone for the most part. No poop in the pool, no bombed front door. If I could give zero stars I would. Colin gave a quote that seemed extremely high. At which point I contacted other pigeon removal services. I found a 2 contractors who were considerably less than Colin's bid. I chose a contractor after learning what the chosen contractor provided. Being a person of integrity I phoned Colin a week before the scheduled service, leaving a voicemail. When I did not hear back I sent him a text. On the day of pigeon removal service, the chosen contractor was busy setting up and Colin drove up. My garage door was open. He walked through my garage and banged on my back door. I came out. He asked "what's going on", I told him I hired another contractor. He said " why didn't you call me"' I said I did and showed him proof on my phone. He said "why didn't you keep calling". I said "it's not my responsibility to ensure you listen to your voicemail or check your texts". He then took a menacing step toward me, raised his voice and said " aren't you going to pay me for my time-I came out, went on the roof to give you a bid." I said "absolutely not". He asked "why?" I told him his price was ridiculous. He then took another step toward me and said "I want money for my time", I took a step toward him and told him to leave. Please know that not one time during the bid process did Colin James state he would charge for a bid. Being a single woman I do not take intimidation lightly. Get bids, check licenses and check BBB reviews before you hire someone. Colin is very honest and efficient. He will not be your most expensive bid. He will tell you what you need and what to expect. He offered to return if there was any need. My pigeons were on my patio ledge. They are like flying rats. They were leaving a terrible mess. They are gone! It's been a couple of months and none have returned.
