Visited this restaurant with my 91 year old grandfather. He's the kind of person that complains about everything, especially food. We ordered a couple of dishes, including sesame chicken, crab rangoon, boneless spareribs, happy family and shrimp with lobster sauce. Everything was very good! I've never had Chinese food in this area that was as delicious as this. It felt like I was back in Queens. I was very satisfied with my meal. My very difficult to please grandfather raved about it in the car on the way home. He didn't even talk while he ate, he just kept eating - a very good sign. Good service, too. The waitress was very accommodating. We had a ton of leftovers and everything was extremely well priced. I could even possibly say that this was the best place that I've picked up food in West Palm. We ordered Kung po chicken, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, chicken was tender and the spices were spot on. Hot n sour soup, which was alright. In the mists of wondering if I would be able to get a decent meal without cooking it myself I stumbled on this place totally at random. They will substitute tofu in place of meat in a fantastic variety of dishes. Driving on our way to Orlando via the turnpike, we yelped for a good and quick place for dinner, and decided to stop here. We were really glad we did! The place is small, but very clean and well lit. The lady serving us was very nice and pleasant to talk with. I started with a tasty miso soup which was a good size with plenty of tofu. Pho broth was flavorful with just the right balance of flavors. I had the General Tso's chicken which was served up beautifully without skimping on quantity. Unlike other places, where the chicken is more coating than meat, this was just the opposite, with the meat being tender and moist. My spring roll was crispy and done just right without that greasy feeling that other places have. Both our meals were $7.25 each, and for that price a steal! This is an efficient, clean, and personable space. The food was fresh and my Pho was delivered quickly enough. I ordered mine with beef, so I am OKAY that it took a few minutes to be sliced and cooked! The rest of the ingredients (basil, mint, sprouts, limes) were wonderfully fresh though the presentation lacked. It was more about efficiency rather. The lunch version is the exact same as the dinner version from what I could tell form the menu. The lunch menu just offered a $1 discount bringing my Vietnamese soup to $7.95. However, I got charged about $3 for a sweet tea that belonged on the wraparound porch of a Mississippi plantation! YIKES! It was SO white-sugar sweet it was poured out after two eye-bugging sips. Anyway, that sucrose concoction brought my lunch bill with tip to $12. That wasn't a pleasant price for a lunch. I would've preferred the drink were included... just not THAT drink. I was also disappointed that Vietnamese Coffee wasn't offered. Hence, the real *issue* I have with Asian-fusion restaurants. While the place was super clean and the staff were ALL delightful, it looked and menu'd really Euro-American. not an authentic experience at all. The food is not the best I've eaten. I would only recommend the honey garlic chicken when it is fresh and crispy. The last time I ordered it, it tasted like it was leftovers from the daytime cause I had picked it up in the evening for dinner. One thing I dislike is the takeout containers they put in. They pack everything together with the rice and sauce which makes the rice very soggy very quickly. When I asked them to separate my food, it's an additional fee after I gave them a tip. And they also requested my friend to do business with them. Not happening. I think they lack courtesy and customer service. As for the food, it is like any other Chinese food served in the mall food court. Nothing special. "General tao chicken" and Lo mien they say are their popular dishes. I have tried and not impressed. The garlic sauce with chicken and vegetable was not great either. This would definitely be my last time going there. read more

I order some spring rolls and the were awesome nice hot cook to perfection, I also order sweet and sour chicken with brown rice. Back in town and came here again Friday night. Excellent food. Coming from places where Chinese is kind of a take-out only affair, it is surprising how many people are sitting in a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall on a Friday evening. There must have been 20 people of all ages (children to mature adults) sitting around, enjoying the delicious food. This has become one of our spots whenever we're in town. read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I found it while looking through yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. I ordered a light dinner for take out, a quart of shrimp fried rice. I was informed that it was a 20 minute wait which reassured me that it would be fresh. When I arrived 20 minutes later my order was ready. The restaurant is pretty small a good spot for a quick lunch date but not good for big groups or families. Got rice Came here Round 9 on a Tuesday night This place looks very unique kinda reminded me of a subway, I was gonna walk out but didn't want to waste time looking for another pho restaurant as the selection is small in this neighborhood I ordered the pho with beef flank and I asked them to cook the sprouts. We got it within a couple minutes and to my surprise, this place delivered , the soup was nice and hot, and there was lots of flavorful beef in there. Our server didn't really Check on us since it was closing time , but she was pretty friendly. I would comeback to this place for pho if I was in the neighborhood. read more

I love Got Rice! I've started coming here about two years ago and I still love it. Food quality is amazing and I bring all my friends here. My boyfriend is picky when it comes to Chinese food, he's had a lot of bad experience with take out. Got Rice is far from you're typical take out food though. I had the Pad Thai and Wonton Soup here, and it was pretty awesome! Know the Pad Thai comes with an extra big helping of bean sprouts on the side (within your plate). Everything was fresh and tasty, and the chicken was especially great in my pad thai as well. It seemed fresh and well made. Whoever the cook is, he or she seems like he takes pride in cooking :). I ordered take out and the service was great. Our food was ready in 25 minutes for a relatively large order. The costumer service was lovely, they were very nice and pointed out everything we ordered while picking up to make sure we had everything. We all came with high hopes, by all means I'm not taking anything away from this restaurant the service was friendly and quick. The place is a little small. Now going back to my meal the pho was ok it wasn't at the level I was expecting based on the reviews I have read and also that they claimed. I have had better pho at other places. As an Asian person, it says a lot of I like an Asian restaurant. It is by no means authentic Chinese or my mama's cooking but it is pretty damn good for Asian food! If I'm ever craving any Chinese, this is my go to. Place is clean but small so I always get take out. Please try their boneless ribs and cashew chicken!
