Everything was made when ordered so nothing was cold. The restaurant itself was clean. Definitely one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I've been to. The service was prompt. However, I would definitely go back for the wings and maybe give something else on the menu a try.

Nor is there any ambiance of a higher elan than an overnight laundry. (I hear this will change, soon. Business idea: Fong's Natural Laundry Detergent!) You want ambiance? Try Echo where the Wonton Soup is near $20. FG's is just as good or better at under $6. There in lies the added fourth star. The chef is reaching his or her golden age. Having experienced Chinatown dining in Manhattan, Queens and San Francisco, I can attest Fong's Garden is right up there with the best. And right up there with the hugely higher-priced Breaker's restaurant, Echo. Mongolian Beef, a signature dish, is superb with tender protein and just the right amount of sesame and whatever else it is that makes it so much of a must order. This has been by far the worst experience with food ordering. I ordered a few meals for my family that is 2 towns over and was charged on my card. When the delivery man showed up at the house he told my family that it was not paid for and demanded payment. I called from work and told them it was paid for and already came out of my account and the horrible woman on the phone told me if I want to I can call the police. What kind of customer service is this? Dont go here or order at all the food is so not worth it. Terrible food Terrible people read more

Within 20' minutes I was able to search for takeout online, order online and pick up the food. They made the process simple and straight forward. Food was decent, not quite the NY takeout I would hope to expect. I'd prefer a more fluffier egg roll, as opposed to the compressed version I got.
