I have a high but reasonable interest rate for my credit rating and they're good to deal with once you've purchased the vehicle! As with any lender you need to make your payments on time or there's a late fee but again it's very reasonable only being like $10 if you're less then 30 days late! If your credit improves you'll need to refinance with another lender and they don't have an early payoff penalty! The ladies working in the office are easy to deal with and as long as your first 6 or 7 payments are on time they will work with you a little bit after that if you're late within a 30 day period! The clerk thought it was fraud. when they decided to give me the cashier's check, they said my account would have to be closed. After going back and forth with the clerk, I said close the account and don't give me the cashier's check I'm done with you guys. (To start) I went in to get a cashier's check for my sister who is an X Nun, and she wanted to give a donation to the sisters (Nuns) because, I did not know who these people were the clerk said this could be fraud, I told her this is not fraud and we have done this but with different transaction somewhere else, (Walmart) she called the fraud dept, I call my sister to explain to the clerk but she still kept saying this could be fraud. I told my sister I would handle this and hung up. I told the clerk this is my money and I can do what I want with it, she said we will give you the cashier's check, but we will have to close your account, I said close the account and don't give me the check I'm done with you guys. This sucks I don't know what is wrong with this CU, seems like they are trying to lose customers. Well, looks like I will be looking for another bank.

Not only was I wrong about that, but I also discovered that they withdraw the funds several days before those funds are deposited into the receiving bank. So here I sit with literally no way to access my money that is floating in cyberspace somewhere. They don't seem to care whether I can put food on the table or have gas to get to work. I will be closing this account as soon as possible.

So, I went to Desert Financial Credit Union to get a new debit card since my previous one was…read morecompromised. When I arrived, the process was fairly straightforward. However, the agent informed me that in order to activate the card and change the PIN number, I would need to call the number stated on the information paper she provided. It was a bit inconvenient to have to go through this process instead of doing it at the bank, but I accepted it. I rarely use my debit card since I prefer using my credit cards for points and rewards. A few days later, I decided to call the number she had given me, but to my surprise, it did not work. The number appeared to be disconnected. When I attempted to contact their customer service, unfortunately, I received a recorded message that says it was outside of their operating hours, and I was unable to receive any further assistance. I don't have a lot of confidence in a bank that can't even get their phone numbers in order. Due to this frustrating experience, I'm inclined to leave a one-star rating.

Then you'll have to drive around & go in for the ATM inside the building & if it's after-hours, you'll have to insert your card to get into the building & ofc THAT doesn't work.
