I Love these guilt free cookies. Chocolate is my absolute favorite. But oatmeal and banana are really good too.

I've been holding off on this review because I hate when the good places go viral and I get…read moreswarmed. But Bristol Farms is such a gem, and way better than Whole Foods. Even though each store has a strengths, I feel like overall Bristol Farms is the better of the two. This is speaking as millennial and maybe Bristol Farms serves a more immature crowd. Hopefully it stays that way. They have everyday products and they have very niche products. Literally something for everyone their bakery is delicious and of course they have their classic big cookies that are served warm. I haven't had anything from the juice/coffee bar yet, but I will next, however the poke bar and the hot bar, never disappoints and that is why I'm writing this review finally. Today I had a flounder piccata mashed potatoes, perfectly roasted vegetables, and pasta Bolognese with huge chunks of beef. Everything was delicious. The flounder even remained crunchy two hours after leaving the store they don't have the variety in the hot bar that Whole Foods has, however, the quality is far superior, and the flavor is in the upper echelon compared to Whole Foods. These are consistent findings within the self-service food area even within the deli carving station. Sometimes they have turkey briskets. I believe I've even purchased prime rib there and the quality and flavor is always on point consistently the presentation of all of their items never fails either also, every time I go to Bristol Farms you're always greeted with a smile. The staff is really nice and in general they look like they're happy to be there which makes the shopping experience that much better.

I went in to purchase Harry's Berries strawberries, and while I was shopping, a produce stocker named Hung took it upon himself to say, "You know those are $20, right?" I had not asked about the price. I was just buying my strawberries. The comment felt unnecessary, presumptive, and embarrassing--like he had decided I needed to be warned about the cost of something I had already chosen to purchase. As a customer of color, it also made me wonder whether he would have made that same comment to shoppers who do not share my skin color. That is not the kind of interaction any customer should have while grocery shopping, especially at a store like Bristol Farms. Other shoppers should be aware of this experience, and I hope Bristol Farms takes it seriously. Please do better and train employees not to make assumptions about customers.

He was so attentive and made sure we had a wonderful experience by getting us refills, extra bread, etc. Our food even came out within 10 minutes even though it was extremely busy. I remember how I used to come right after work before covid hit and even celebrated a few birthdays here - those were fun times! The food was good! I don't come as often anymore after I started working remotely. Glad I was able to bring my daughter here. We were quickly seated right upon check in, which was awesome because when I came here a few months ago, I had to wait over 30 minutes on a week night. The hostess who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming. Our server was friendly and checked in on our table often. However, both my daughter and I were out of iced tea but she didn't offer to assist us with getting refills. Instead, she just asked me if I needed a box, so I was thinking most likely, she was in a hurry for us to leave - I honestly think we were there for about an hour. But, I wasn't too bothered by this. I just quickly paid the bill and went next door for dessert. My daughter and I ordered the following: Carpaccio - I love Carpaccio, but unfortunately what was served to me tonight was a HUGE disappointment. The beef came stuck together and the color was a weird shade of brown. It also smelled funny. I've ordered this dish multiple times before (I've even posted a picture of this from a previous visit) so I know it shouldn't look and smell this way. Rigatoni Alfredo 2.0 - (added Chicken) - This was very good. My daughter liked this a lot. She finished everything. Pappardelle Bruno - The braised short ribs were very tender. However, the pasta tasted pretty bland. Overall, my visit today was a 6/10.

Horrible experience and extremely poor customer service…read more On Father's Day, my husband wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We were seated on the patio and waited for 15 minutes without a single employee approaching our table. Not one server, host, or staff member stopped by to acknowledge us, offer water, or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. We actually timed it from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were seated in the middle of the patio in plain sight. We watched multiple servers and staff members standing around the service station, chatting, sipping drinks, and looking around. Meanwhile, guests who were seated after us had their orders taken, received water, and were even served appetizers before anyone acknowledged our existence. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. On Father's Day of all days, when families are trying to enjoy a special meal together, the lack of attention and basic hospitality was astonishing. After 15 minutes, with my husband and son both hungry and frustrated, I walked up to what appeared to be the manager or owner and informed her that we were leaving because no one had come to our table. Her response was that she "wasn't aware." Frankly, that's not an acceptable answer. If you're managing or owning a restaurant, knowing whether your guests are being taken care of is part of the job. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, dining at everything from small local establishments to high-end restaurants around the world. Out of the countless places I have visited, this experience easily ranks among my top 20 worst restaurant experiences. Not because the food was bad--we never even had the opportunity to order--but because the complete lack of service and awareness was that shocking. To make matters worse, after leaving, we went to North Italia. Within a few minutes of being seated, a server greeted us, acknowledged the Father's Day rush, offered us bread, and genuinely seemed concerned when we explained what had just happened. That simple act of hospitality immediately changed the tone of our afternoon. That is how a restaurant should be operated. That is what good management, training, and customer service look like. You make guests feel welcome, valued, and taken care of--even on one of the busiest dining days of the year. This restaurant, unfortunately, did the exact opposite. We left disappointed, hungry, and genuinely stunned by how poorly the situation was handled. Will we return? Absolutely not. There are far too many restaurants that appreciate their customers and understand the basics of hospitality for us to ever give this place another chance.

Brian is a master candymaker ('course, he learned from the best - his mom!) and he has just rolled out a new, entirely hand-made goody that is positively mind-blowing: a 19oz (not a typo!) BRICK of chocolate that is stuffed with pistachio nougat and almond toffee! Unbeliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiievaaable. I bought mine yesterday, and told Brian I'd make it last into April. NOT gonna happen. I selected the dark chocolate edition (milk and white are also available) and it is beyooooond compare. The THICK dark chocolate coating is super rich, crunchy delish but what's inside is the star: an expertly-rendered mixture of pistachio nougat and Brian's signature almond toffee. Mouth-feel is just right; the candy middle is NOT too sweet, very, very rich, and INSTANTLY ADDICTIVE - LOL! This is the kind of thing you'd bring to a dinner party and share with others, along with champagne. I'd personally pair this premier confection with an Isla Scotch or a realllly smoooth American bourbon.... All in all, a super quality treat, hand-made with care, love and attention to just. the. right. balance - of EVERYTHING. Brian has just started offering these at his counter. Wiord to the early bird: he's gonna run out! Soon.....

They also have happy hour Tuesdays-Thursday from 2:00-5:30pm, where they offer house wines for $5 and personal cheese board for $10. For boards, I usually get the Goldilocks specialty board, which comes with 3 cheeses ranging in texture from soft to hard. For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. I've had the Signature which has a double-cream brie, pear slices, mixed greens, and fig jam. Lib Grilled Cheese comes with three premium cheese blend, grilled with olive oil, and minced garlic. All paninis are on their sourdough bread and served with their signature side salad. The decor here is very cute - showcasing their cheese fridge and shelves lined with wines and jams available for purchase. There are some tables both indoors and outside. I recently saw that they host events, offer quick same-day catering within 2-3 hours of ordering, and deliver for orders up to 50 people! Always coming back for their cheese boards and great happy hour!
