The salty salt reminds my niece of pizza....

Disappointing overall... Burger was over done despite asking for medium... Truffle cheese fries pretty disappointing... Onion rings very greasy...also reduced portion from last time... But the oreo milkshake was good...

WELL DONE is how I like it

A decent burger place, for me too many options and variations on the menu. After it is a burger place? All food was cooked well but just annoyed they do not have some normal fries, the super skinny fries are just not cool. And unfortunately the same has to be said about the atmosphere which left me a bit confused. The large wall menu fitted well to a burger/diner place, but a panoramic image of a lake in Midwest America opposite a photograph of the tropics with reggae music being played whilst I'm eating a burger just doesn't make sense. And the fact you have to print off the voucher and they can't scan it or use that for the deal is unbelievable in 2014.

£11.10 for this poor excuse of a salad. What a rip off.

What a rip off! They charged me £11.10 for a salad that consisted of 12 pieces of lettuce, 1/3 of a chicken breast, one cherry tomato, one sun dried tomato, and half of an avocado which hadn't even been diced up.

Most overrated place ever... I kept seeing long queues outside this place for ages and I really…read morewanted to see what all the hype was about. There's 3 main burger options and then you add all the toppings you like to customise your burger. While my boyfriend asked for all of the toppings I asked for the plain bacon cheeseburger as I wanted something simple. I obviously tried both options and they were equally disappointing. My boyfriend's burger was juicier than mine for to the peppers and onions that made it taste more fresh, while mine was a mass of meat and plastic-y cheese that I can easily dub 'the artery clogger' because it felt like I'd need a double bypass after eating it. Not to mention that the bacon was bone dry and crunchy, borderline burnt to a crisp and breaking in crumbs when you bit into it. Honestly worst bacon I've ever tried. To be honest the variety of toppings was very underwhelming as the choices were something you expect from a basic burger (mayo, onions, tomatoes etc). With gourmet burgers in your average pub offering avocado, egg or pulled pork and even your local spoons burger coming with onion rings, Five Guys is really not bringing anything new to the table. The skin on chips were enough to vaguely justify the £4 and they were decent so I was happy with them. However, my highlight was getting free pints of water which on its own says a lot about what this place has to offer. This place is a glorified Mc Donald's with pretty much the same quality as far as flavour or texture are concerned and five times the price to fool you int thinking it's a real restaurant. I do not intend to go back there again as it was a complete waste of money to eat something basic and unhealthy.

Five Guys - Banana milkshake to die for... It's so thick that even with only a little left the straw stays upright!
