Enjoyed my lunch here today. It wasn't busy at all. I ordered chicken and toast and a huge plate full of delicious french toast and fried chicken arrived a few minutes later. I enjoyed every bite.

I meet up with a friend for brunch here. The staff were friendly and was greeted and seated pretty quickly. They have a pretty good selection of both food and drinks. I had one of their spirit free teas and which was really good. I also ordered the smoked salmon hash which was pretty tasty as well. Overall, I had a nice time catching up with my friend and enjoying yummy food, so I'd be back

The husband and I went here for brunch this morning. There was no wait which was nice. They had the sliding doors open to let in some refresh air and flies. I ordered a ham egg and cheese croissant. They toasted the inside of it, but not the outside of it, which was a little weird. The cheese and bacon were tucked on the inside of the egg I. Just was not a fan. My husband got eggs over easy. Which came out over medium and toast and potatoes. It came as a whole meal. For just the 2 of us with these 2 very simple meals, an orange juice and a coffee. It was $50. That is crazy to me. The food was ok. The service was ok. This was just not one of our favorites

Always delicious Prep and Pastry, what more can I say? Fresh baked pastries, house-made spot on hot sauce, omelettes to your liking (I highly recommend The Prep veggie one, heavenly, topped with sliced avocado), roasted potatoes that are crisped and smashed to perfection, pancakes stacked into 4" towers topped with berries, and always perfect coffee offerings...... this place nails it. They are open daily 7-3 so you have plenty of time to enjoy brunch on their patio or inside in their bistro inspired dining area. The service is amazing, promptly welcoming guests with a smile and warm welcome. Don't forget to take home some pastries!

Food was amazing!' Service was top notch! We tried the pastries (Raspberry and a scone) for the seasonal menu drinks I had salted cinnamon cold brew that has nitro coffee, the food (Harissa Hakshusha, pork Beni poblano, French toast Lox Toast,) prices are fair. We also tried the mocktails the brunch lunch and the mangoñada with tajin rim. Restaurant was immaculate clean and we will definitely be back for breakfast. Cayden was a great server and when we come back we will definitely request him. He really Went above and beyond. I Also loved the modern vibes of the restaurant and the atmosphere. 10/10

I had some high hopes for this place, however some expectations fell short. The Venue is beautiful. I loved the ambiance and decor. It was open and bright. We were seated immediately. It appeared as though there were only 3 front of house. The hostess/waitress, the main waitress and a young man doing not a whole lot. Our waitress came to take our drink order and the 2 ladies were working very well together, however it still took a while for things to come. Considering when we got there, there were only about 5 tables seated and when we left 7 tables including ours. Our food came out cold. The duck confused came in a cast iron pan that wasn't hot. When we tasted it, it was cold. I unfortunately didn't take a picture of the menu so didn't know if it was supposed to be that way. The little potato chunks were hard. Not a memorable dish. The Monte Cristo was at least warm. It was not a traditional sandwich as the bread was too thick and the ham too thin. Without the turkey, it was more of a cheese sandwich. The potatoes that came with the dish were fantastic although unseasoned. I did have to add a lot of salt and requested ketchup. They were crispy and a little smashed. To add to the dish the berry sauce. It didn't add much as previously mentioned, the bread was too thick. Overall, I don't think that I would go back. It has a lot of potential. I can see Bridal showers, baby showers and even a birthday party but they need to step things up.

I've been coming to prep and pastry since there was only one location on Campbell. A wonderful place to go get breakfast and enjoy local tea and delicious pastries. There's a huge selection of menu items for breakfast brunch lunch. It's got a lovely outdoor patio and special events if you follow their Facebook page. I just love the ambience of the inside. It's area with live plants and usually very friendly servers that wanna make sure your experience is very positive. Check out Prep & Pastry on Grant

I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed each visit. They are a bit pricey but the portions are big and the food is high quality. They do get super busy at brunch time and I on weekends so I definitely recommend getting on the waitlist before you go. I got the turkey club sandwich today and it was so good! The bread was nice and crispy and the avocado spread was fresh. The fries were also tasty and well-seasoned. I ended up with a little left over for lunch tomorrow before my flight. The restaurant is clean and open. The bathrooms are also nice and clean and gender-neutral which was nice to see. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare at peak times but it wasn't too bad today. If you are looking for a good brunch spot with variety give Prep & Pastry a try! You won't be disappointed.

We recently had our book club brunch here. They handled our large party so gracefully! Their prices are fair and the food is delightful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had a cinnamon roll and the icing was so good! Thank you Prep & Pastry for hosting us!!

I don't believe we've ever had anything here we didn't like. Today it was the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, classic French toast and a side of potatoes. My son loves the potatoes here! Everything was delicious as usual. We sat outside and were seated pretty quickly. The place was busy and our server seemed a little frazzled but still kind. This place always has a good vibe to it and the staff is on point.

I also love that the menu strives to be locally sourced. The food is very fresh! The service from the counter is fairly fast, which was especially great for us, as we were short on time. This time ordered the Simply Eggy Breakfast. The marmalade was unique and the eggs were perfectly poached. The portions are standard, so there will likely be no leftovers. For the portions though, I would say the price is a little on the higher end. To finish my friend got a tahini brownie on the way out and we found it to be very pleasant and not overly sweet. I would love to try their coffees and teas!

It's a very casual place staffed by kind and welcoming students, and the food is genuinely good. The Smoked Salmon Beni stood out in the reviews, and it did not disappoint when I finally got to try it. I'll be attaching a photo, but it tasted every bit as good as it looked. These Pastries Should Probably Be Illegal…read more Prep & Pastry has been serving Tucson since 2014, and after eating here, I completely understand why they've built such a loyal following. This review is only about the pastries because the rest of their menu deserves an entirely separate review. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly light and airy everything was. Every bite felt fresh, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, and nothing tasted heavy or overwhelming. As I've gotten older, I've become much more conscious about what I eat. Surprisingly, these pastries never leave me with that "I shouldn't have done that" feeling. They're indulgent without being excessive. Now let's address the real issue... I always buy two. Not because I'm planning ahead. Because I know exactly what's going to happen if I don't. I'll eat one in the parking lot, sit there for a minute pretending I'm satisfied, then make what is almost certainly an illegal U-turn and head back inside for another. At this point, I believe the owners should stand trial in a savory Food Court of Law. Dun... Dun... "In the Criminal Food Justice System, pastry-based crimes are considered especially delicious. In Tucson, the dedicated foodies who investigate these sugary felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Pastry Unit. These are their stories." Prep & Pastry is guilty of making "I'll just have one" the biggest lie you'll tell yourself all week. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or simply because life is better with a great pastry, this place delivers. WIT Inspection Score: -- Truly Among the Best.

(well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. One thing that stood out during that first visit was the hostess. Since the restaurant is located inside a hotel and can be a little difficult to find, I expected a more welcoming introduction or at least some confirmation that we were in the right place. Instead, the interaction felt a bit awkward and impersonal. We returned a few weeks later (07/12/26) and happened to be greeted by the same hostess. Unfortunately, the experience was very similar. She asked how many people were in our party, I said two, and then she simply looked at her computer without saying much else. Another employee eventually came over and escorted us to our table. Throughout both visits, she never came across as particularly friendly or welcoming. As the first person guests interact with, I think a hostess sets the tone for the entire experience, so this was disappointing.
