One of the best bakeries in Tucson! If you're looking for authentic French pastries, this is the spot. Everything is fresh and the pastry menu rotates on a weekly basis. I also enjoy how they sell discounted day old pastries. The shop is small with limited seating, so be mindful you'll more thank likely grab and go.

This second shop for Cafe Francais is right by my home. The original location was a drive to the east side of the city; always worth the drive. With this second store the word was out and its modest location was rewarded with a constant stream of customers. Today was my first time I was able to walk in without waiting 5-10 minutes outside. I'm guessing it's timing since I came after church. I purchased two desserts, a raspberry cheesecake crumble and a black Forrest tart, each about 10 to 11 dollars. I must admit that I was sad not to see the croissants I've made a habit of purchasing. Once home I was unloading my morning haul, then Sat to enjoy the tart. Oh, what an absolute pleasure it was to eat. There isn't inside eating but tables and chairs outside, but I'm just a quick drive home, so I'm not tempted to sit outside eating when I can enjoy my own air-conditioned without the traffic of Alvernon feet away. Parking is available in the back lot, north of Broadway or very limited parking on Broadway. I love the food, but it's pricey and a splurge for me. The offer can drinks in an open cooler. I was told to look at their instagram for current flavors of the week, since they have a rotating lineup.

Did we drive out from Phoenix to try this specifically? No ... but it was a very close second (lol!) We got here as soon as they opened, and there was already a little bit of a line! The storefront is pretty small. It literally could hold 5 grown adults comfortably but there's plenty of outdoor seating options available! I went and little crazy ordering... and if I didn't have self control, I would have gotten more lol After we got our goodies, we sat outside to take pictures and try everything! Absolutely LOOOVED it all, but stand out for us was the ham and cheese croissant, blueberry Danish, and monkey bread. We would love to come back next time we are in Tucson! Here's our complete order: Ham and Cheese Croissant Chocolate Croissant Lemon Meringue Monkey Bread Orange Cardamon Brioche Bun Chocolate Eclair Blueberry Danish

3.5/5 Not an extensive selection but a good combined offering of savory and sweet pastries. Prices can be a little steep but given that this is freshly made and a local business.... I keep that in mind. I enjoyed the mocha cream puff... the cream was so good and the puff light and airy. The pecan praline tart was a bit hard to eat.. the crust was quite hard to bite into or even cut. The filling was good but it was messy just trying to get a bite without fighting with the pastry. This is one of two locations (the smaller one) and can also be found at the farmers market. This location has a few outdoor seating chairs with sunbrellas. . The outdoor seating is adjacent to a busy road and so do expect traffic sounds. There is some parking in front but quite hard to score a spot... and most of the spots are 10 min parking. There is however ample free parking in the back. I will try them again because I am going to assume the tart was a one off given the cream puff was delicious.

I'm so glad that one of my favorite bakeries in town opened a central location! I definitely had to check it out for a sweet Saturday treat and was not disappointed! There was a queue out the door the whole time I was there. Plenty of shade to stand in and parking upfront and behind the store. Inside is super cute, pink and bright! Same amazing pastries from their east side location just a little closer to home. Drinks also available and some patio seating out front. Their menu does change weekly so follow them on Facebook or instagram to see the beautiful pics and list of goodies for the week. Love the husband and wife team who run this place, always polite , friendly and you can really feel the passion they put in to the business. Definitely check them out!

Super excited about this new location! Croissants and Kouigns are so amazing and super delicious this place will not disappoint.

Fruit tart! Delicious! A little sweet and not very tart which I like!

The fruit tart was amazing! Their pastries are large so you're definitely getting your monies worth. They change their pastries often allowing for a plethora of flavors that make many taste buds happy.

Their food is great and they are very pleasant. I've enjoyed everything that I've bought from them. Both locations have adequate parking.

The custom ordering process was easy and the price was very reasonable. One thing to keep in mind with Village Bakehouse is that they have limited indoor seating and are often crowded. They do have covered outdoor seating with fans but you are looking at a parking lot so not super picturesque.

Between having ordered a customized cake to picking up cakes from their display cases... I don't have a favorite... each one has been unique and delicious in their own (ps- their icing is amazing). For the quality of their cakes, their prices are totally reasonable. They have additional bakery items ( cookies, pastries etc) that I have tried and I would rate those a 4/5. Good and comparable to some additional amazing bakers in Tucson. I have also dined here for brunch and I would rate it a 3/5. Overall service is great here- staff are attentive and take the time to describe the items. There is a line to order usually- understandably so when you see their bakery case! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ample parking as it is in a strip mall.

It's located between Petco and Ace Hardware, and there is plenty of parking. You can order at a kiosk, but since we came later in the evening, the cashier was happy to take our order and was very friendly. My husband ordered the Thai Tea with boba. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean.
