We ordered takeout through a delivery app. Order was ready quickly and everything was correct. Food traveled well. I had the chopped salad with grilled chicken. It was a Mediterranean influenced salad that was aggressively chopped. I also tried the honey mustard chicken strips and the grilled zucchini. My favorite item was the chicken strips. read more

Gourmology is an absolute delight! I stopped in for brunch today with two friends, and they had a really lit DJ. (Apparently the DJ is there every Sunday from 11-3.) Our server Sammy was super welcoming and a great vibe. Everything was flavorful and delicious. We shared the Oreo waffles and their jerk chicken empanadas, which we all loved. The empanadas came with this really good green sauce. I had the Hawaiian steak and eggs. The steak had a really good pineapple-y flavor, and was cooked to the perfect medium. Hubby and I checked out Gourmology after a movie and fell in love with the food and intimate cafe atmosphere. They have some amazing entrees and sides. The corn ribs, wings and teriyaki ribs are amazing. A nice selection of cocktails are beautifully served. The food is savory and exciting. Best of all, is the hospitality and service by Anna and Sammy, a husband and wife team. We have since taken friends and we plan to return again & again. Gourmology catered all the food for my son's 1st birthday party for 60 people at my home. Anna (the owner), was outstanding with helping me with picking the best options for my crowd. The food was delivered to my home on time and hot. My family was highly impressed with the taste and quality of the food. Also, Anna's pricing was reasonable for such great options of chicken, shrimp, steak & more. The biggest hits were the drunken eggplant & the shrimp! Recently I went to their lynbrook restaurant. The vibe is comfortable & extremely clean. Nice decor, and the friendliest staff. I tried their watermelon mint juice and I'm still thinking about it. It was amazing. We decided to give Gourmology a try as we were looking for a new latin-flavored dinner spot. We were thrilled to discover this gem! The food and service were impeccable! It's a small spot, fits about 30 people and it's bright and well designed. It's a married couple who own and run it. Where to start....Everything about our experience with Gourmology was wonderful! Booked a table for 8 for Friday evening, and when we arrived the table was set impeccably, we were greeted and treated like family, and it was an incredibly comfortable and delicious night for everyone! The harvest sangria was literally the most delicious sangria I have every had. We had several pitchers for the table and everyone was in agreement on how good it was. We split appetizers - the corn ribs, the plantains, and the empanadas kept everyone happy. We all also took little tastes of each others' entrees. The Hawaiian steak, the drunken eggplant, the sticky mac attack - all winners! I had the special - grilled scallops - and they were sublime! We wound it all up with a fantastic espresso tres leches cake and all I can say is I can't wait to go back! Chef Anna is the best! read more

Get to Gourmology ASAP! We were greeted by Sammy, who immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. He's gregarious, funny, and a true professional. The space is lovely; modern, simple decor that manages to be warm and stylish all at once. Nice comfy chairs. We had some beautiful, very tasty cocktails to start. My lychee martini was one of the best I've had. The Bustello old fashioned was outstanding and the cucumber cooler unique and refreshing. The food is amazing; Chef Anna turns out inventive, fresh, and absolutely delicious fare. For starters, we shared the stuffed maduros (tender, soft sweet plantains covered in a corn and black bean stew. Bliss.) We also shared the corn ribs (quartered corn on the cob, flash fried and seasoned with chipotle aioli, cotija cheese and tajin. So flavorful!) For entrees, two of us had the drunken eggplant, the other two had honey teriyaki ribs, which were a special. The eggplant was light and crispy and the sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The ribs were tender and so tasty. Even the sides of grilled zucchini and sautéed broccoli were perfectly prepared. We were all beyond happy with our meals. The portions are extremely generous; we all took food home. We are looking forward to our next visit to keep working our way through the menu. They do catering as well, and we will definitely keep them in mind for our next party. So happy that we tried Gourmology! read more

Went here twice, both times the food and drinks were amazing. The owners were super nice people. Had the eggplant parm, best I ever had. Not your grandmother's eggplant parm, the chef puts a whole new twist on it and it is delicious. Had a great chicken empanada. And the Corn Ribs- just do it. So good read more

Trying Gourmology for the first time and we can't wait to go back!! Ana and Sammy have built an incredible restaurant: amazing food, great service, and spectacular drinks. We had a big group and ate little bit of everything. Not a bad dish on the table. Our favs: Elote Elixir (so good), hearty sangria (THE BEST), corn ribs (OMG), stuffed maduros, the Hawaiian steak (yum!) , the Sticky Mac Attack (what?!!!!!), and fantastic dessert menu.
