Topgun said there were too many leaks to repair but I got a quote for custom exhaust. Also shocks and struts were recommended because I had very minimal wear of original shocks/struts and recommended I get them done together for a discount. The new exhaust caused a check engine light and I had to go back to topgun to have that cleared. Welds on the custom exhaust are the worst looking welds I have ever seen and 6 months later I am already having leaks. The sway bar was not reconnected properly and broke (had another shop fix that). The shocks and struts were so cheap that they are already falling apart. Prices are cheap but so is the quality.

Last year my coil went out on my 93 Dakota , it sit in the front of motor two bolts and its off put a new one up and plug it in your done. That cost me over 600 dollars at a shop in auburn... So I was quite relieved when they did much more extensive work on my Dakota and my bill came to not much more than what I paid for that coil job in Auburn. My truck had been down for 5 months as I kept hiring people to work on it at my home, that was a mistake, I finally said enough ...and got it down to Carroll's and they had it figured out quickly as to what the problem was , I needled a new PCU.(computer ) Since you cant buy these from anyone, or any store and it has to be an exact match right down to the transmission. My truck is a 93 I had to research and finally found one, I had it shipped over night and since I didnt have a vehicle they came up and picked it up from my house. 2 hours later I got a call saying my trucks is done What a relief and to top it off , Alex the owner would be picking me up to take me to their shop. My experience was easy to do business with, fast and great customer setvice. A nice surprise was they really have made improvements to the building as well, which was nice to see and I'm glad that they seem to be thriving. It's a great benefit to our town to have a reasonably priced, trustworthy garage that can do work on your car. It's a huge win for Sumner because these places are hard to find these days.
