We LOVE GQue. We've (tried) to go to this restaurant for the last three years in a row for my boyfriends birthday. Unfortunately one year they were nearly all sold out of meat. But, it's become our favorite barbecue in the Denver area, and we love how friendly the staff is. Get the chicken wings (AMAZING), the brisket, Mac and cheese, and slaw. I don't think that there is better BBQ!! It's consistently delicious and the crew is always happy and friendly.

If rated on the sausage and the service, would be a 4 or 5 star. Both were excellent The pork sandwich was a completely different story. Potion was great. However, half a gallon of bbq sauce could not have made the pork more moist than a scoop of desert sand. Could barely choke it down. Not sure how this could be award winning bbq. read more

Brisket was dry. Not much flavor profile from sausage but it being spicy. And the turkey had a nice flavor but quite dry. Had Mac for a side and green beans. Mac was pretty straight forward. Nothing really developed in flavor just Mac and cheese so whatever. Green beans quite over cooked and not cleaned well, so had a lot of ends and stems that probably shouldn't have been there. My wife and I happened to be in the area so thought it would be great to try this place. I'm sure the BBQ is really great here, but there were so many restrictions on what you can order with the family feast I just gave up. I was told that the week's special brisket meat was not included. Ok fine. I'll just order the regular brisket and pulled pork then. We took out 1 lb. of smoked pork shoulder that was delicious and most tender with lots of topper sauce on the side. $16 No waiting when we walked in at 2:15 to take out for dinner. Where is my review? Wait, I haven't written a review yet??? Shame... GQue is the best BBQ in Westminster, most likely in all of Denver, perhaps in all of Colorado, high percentage chance in all the Rocky Mountains, and potentially in all of the North America. (Is there BBQ anywhere else? That may cover the globe...) Seriously, GQue is so good. The turkey is super tender and flavorful. The ribs fall off the bone and taste sweet, rich, and smokey all at once. The brisket knocks my socks off. The hot links make me happy. The pulled pork makes my own pulled pork sit lonely in the fridge. The sauces and sides are great. The random specials (like smoked pot pie or mango wings) are always amazing. The beer selection is balanced for everyone. The ice cream is a tasty treat. And then there's the wings... OMG. Dude. I've realized the dry rub wings are the best wings I've ever eaten. Anywhere. Any style. Any sauce. No other wings can hold a candle to the wings at GQue. Meaty, tender, sweet, salty, flavorful, size just right, crispy and fall off the bone at the same time. Top all that off with super friendly, helpful, attentive staff and a comfy, clean restaurant. GQue is my favorite BBQ. Best BBQ in Colorado! Never disappointed with this place! I highly recommend the brisket, so wonderfully seasoned and cooked.

Food was disgusting, the turkey was too salty, the pork had no flavor, the gravy tasted like black pepper and we still can't quite describe what the consistency was like... clumpy and gloppy and flavorless.... Very disappointing, in fact it's the only consistent thing about this place. Wish we could get our $$ back and won't be going there again. Save yourself the time and $$ and hit up another bbq joint. This was our first time eating here. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious with good size portions, and the ice cream was AMAZING!! My teen daughter ate the whole pint of banana pudding herself within 15 minutes. If I lived here I would definitely be back!!! read more

GQue never disappoints. The beef brisket literally melts in your mouth, the sausage is bursting with flavor, the pulled pork is so moist, the homemade BBQ chips I wish they packaged in bigger bags and sold, and the garlic mashed potatoes are whipped to perfection. I am very impressed with their BBQ it was SOOO good! A friend was in town and our first visit we were blessed with the special of the day being Burnt Ends....Heavenly!!! We also got the brisket, mac, a side salad and the pit beans - yummm and even the tomatoes in the side salad were top notch. The Apple coleslaw was an abomination. It was such a small serving, had little flavor and the chunks of food were unevenly chopped. This is top notch bbq. Top notch. The ribs here are about as good as you are ever going to find. They are extremely consistent and delicious. The sauces are great too - but you hardly even need sauce with meat this fantastic. The brisket is good also but in all fairness I have to say Wayne's takes the cake for top brisket. The wings are very good. The sides are decent also but I prefer to focus on meat and not beans or mac & cheese when I am at a place that does as good of a job as here. First time here for lunch. Delicious Barbecue! Ordered the Sausage Link, Smoked Turkey, and Brisket. All were properly smoked and mouth watering. Coleslaw was seasoned well. Love vinegar based slaw. The brisket was tender and moist. The link was spicy and crisp. Smoked Turkey was perfect! I will definitely be back here! I live 40 miles away, but it's worth the drive! Love the smell when you enter, great ambience and the staff was very welcoming! It's very busy for great reasons! The Hottish BBQ sauce was amazing with a kick!
