I had an interesting experience at this place today. This was my second visit due to the fact that the brisket meat is sooo delish! Anyway, on this visit I ordered the brisket with a side of macaroni and cheese. It included a metal spoon to eat the mac and cheese. I took one bite and about threw up. The spoon was completely covered in dried brown food on the bottom side and I felt it as my tongue scraped it. I went to the front counter and asked nicely if the cashier would give me another one, he did, and it was also covered in brown residue. Upon discovery he immediately found me a clean one. No biggie, dishwasher fail, but I was intent on enjoying my meal. It's that good! While I sat with my buddy the cashier brought us both coupons to get a free ice cream next door for our trouble. I didn't ask for that and was surprised. As the meal progressed I had also purchased a cookie, and well, it was so hard that you could have used it as a plate, so I just left it on my plate and began to throw my trash away when the cashier noticed I hadn't eaten the cookie and asked about it. I let him know it was a hockey puck but thanked him for the ice cream coupon. We walked next door to get some ice cream and the cashier came over with a new, soft, freshly made cookie for me! Let's face it, in the fast food world most workers just don't care. This level of customer service was pretty amazing, and I plan on returning. Well done guys! I'm not sure how Coloradans judge bbq, but this place does not deserve the rating in which it has. First for the portion size the prices are outrageous. I judge a bbq joint on its brisket and this was a disappointing experience. The first plate they brought me out was full of fat after I asked for it to be lean and only had two slices with sides that were underwhelming. The second plate was lean but lacking flavor. Gque was very very good. We were pleasantly surprised. The Co-location with the ice-cream joint next door was pretty cool and we got a free sample. Yum ! We tried the Brisket and the pork 1/4 lb? servings with some fires and beans. Excellent stuff on both accounts. they have a good selection of local craft beer. it was easy to get to and there's ample parking . Mall parking, so mind your time of the visit... It wasn't too loud, just about right volume levels. I'm not a sports fan so I don't care to watch the telly when I'm having lunch. The food was great and the service was very good: attentive and pleasant. It's a small place but I think just the right size. It smelled great when we walked in. My significant other is the real BBQ connoisseur but I can get into it :) We will be back, if you sign up for the mailing list you get a free sandwich coupon (sand)wich I have yet to use... see what I did there? Tried to use a coupon here yesterday and were told the internet was down. Instead of helping get the coupon on our order we were told "too bad". So we said later. Been coming here since the first day it opened. Probably won't be back due to poor customer service. The time we came before today the restaurant was super dirty. It was gross. First time here and it was pretty good. We ordered 2 Carolina Pork Sandwiches, double Mac and Cheese and 2 side salads. If you want the toast and pickled onion you have ask for it, like what's the says on the menu board. The sandwiches were very good. My husband who doesn't like slaw really enjoyed theirs, probably because it is not dripping in mayo and has green apples in it. The meat is not spicy, has a good smoke flavor and was plentiful. I'd definitely recommend the pickled onions. The Mac and Cheese was creamy and not greasy. The side salads were also quite large. My 15 month old daughter really liked the pork, she kept reaching across and stealing off my plate. The restaurant was pretty clean, good size single stall restrooms with baby changers. All of their high chairs are put together incorrectly, the seat is facing backwards. I definitely want to come back again and try their other meats and sandwiches. read more

So, I wanted to fall in love with this place and was slightly disappointed. The food was quite good, but the prices are high for the quantity. All of the meats we tried were excellent. We had pulled pork, smoked turkey and jalapeño cheddar hot links. The sides we ordered were mac & cheese and brined fries. Sides were nothing special. Not bad, just not great. I was hoping for collards, but they do not offer them. They offer two types of BBQ sauce; regular and slightly spicy. Both were good, but slightly sweet. If you want meat this is the place to go. Pricing didnt seem out of line. Place was clean and staff friendly. If you are looking for smoked meats I wouldn't recommend. My family ordered the following, rack ribs, 1lb each of pulled pork, brisket, Turkey, and 2 sausage links. Ribs were decent fall off the bone is over cooked which these were but had good flavor, brisket, pork, and Turkey had very little smoke on them. Tasty but not smoky which is what I look for in bbq. Great brisket! I am from Texas and a little bit of a barbecue snob. But, this brisket was the real deal. Also, you can order by weight which is the "real" way to order barbecue rather than ordering "plates". 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt the jalapeño sausage was not homemade. We heard about this place through our Lyft driver and I could not be more happy we went! This place has some of the best BBQ in Colorado hands down. We tried a little bit of everything but my personal favorites were the dry rub wings, brisket, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage. For sides we got the Mac n cheese and it was delicious!!! The staff was very friendly and made sure to ask us how everything was. They also brought us samples of ice cream after (there is an ice cream store attached) and that was a nice touch at the end! Wanted to try this place for some time now. So bummed that I waited so long. This could be the best BBQ joint in the mtero area. We had the pulled pork sandwich with Apple slaw on top. Fantastic! Daughter had the brisket which was unbelievable. The food speaks for itself but the employees sold this joint. Lucas spent time telling us about the company and how each type of meat is prepared. He let us sample Ribs (unreal) Mac and Cheese (seriously the best I've ever had) and the smoked wings....the dry rub wings were the best. Yum!!! We split a sampling of meats: Two bones of ribs each, a quarter lb of brisket, one hot link and a large side of Mac and Cheese. Everything was totally deelish including the Mac and Cheese. The ribs were our fave meat but everything was top notch quality and definitely cooked to perfection. Next time I'd like to try the chicken wings. The only possible drawback for some could be dealing with the mall location and it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.. We went on a Saturday, it was insanely busy at the mall and it wasn't even Christmas lol. It was actually nice to take a good walk to the restaurant before lunch and another after we ate to our parking spot but that situation may not work for some. read more

Excellent ribs and pulled pork! The atmosphere was great too. I travel all over the US and love to check out the local ribs wherever I go. GQue (and staff) are fantastic. Only gave 4 stars due to just one of my 6 or 7 visits were I ordered their smoked wings and they were dried out, it was obvious (to me) they used previous days wings. I do want to say when fresh their wings are top 1 or 2 in Denver. Pork, brisket, ribs, baked beans and fresh made chips are all awesome as well. Not worth the price. Went based on reviews. Had the brisket. Dry & luke warm. Felt the portion was small. Ordered the hand cut premium priced fries. Again luke warm and not fresh. Came for first time today . The MELTDOWN sandwich was DELICIOUS and I forget the other sandwiches name but it had the jalapeño sausage . Our family LOVES BBQ. We are always trying to find the best BBQ no matter where we are...... Kansas City, San Antonio, St. Louis, you name it, we find the good stuff. Well this is it for Denver. Everything was great and trust me when I say we tried it all. Then we rolled into their adjoining ice-cream farm and topped it off with Bourbon Butterscotch and Apple Pie Ice-cream.
