Food: I got the Lox n' Loaded on an everything bagel for a pricey $14 and a small cold brew. The portion size was pretty decent. Unfortunately the flavor was very much underwhelming. The bagel itself was supposed to be toasted but it didn't seem like there was any at all. The everything seasoning lacked in flavor and the texture was overly doughy and dense. And idk what it was but it had an off sweetness to it that I didn't enjoy. The contents were ok but the lox did taste a little over cured. Everything else was decent. I expect this quality if I'm at a small cafe or something, not a bagel shop. Service: It was fine. Ambiance: The ambiance saves the establishment as it looks very fun and hip, albeit there isn't much besides the ordering counter. I wish the vibes matched the product. It's okay. No bad but not good.

As I walk pass Grabstein's Bagels I was in WOW! The decor inside, the chandelier is what quickly caught my eye. Made me tell myself you have to go inside. The decor was off the top. At any restaurant or place you go to you EAT with your eyes first. The restaurant look too clean and good for me not to visit and see what they had to offer. I got me my favorite a pistachio muffin. Freshly baked and warm. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly.

I read the reviews that reported bad service, but went twice and found the service great. Maybe just good timing. I tried a flagel and a bagel. Both were fantastic. Below is an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and tomato. It was delicious, and I love that they season both sides.

This bagel spot seems like it is a good addition to the area. It has many choices of bagels, spreads, different sandwiches and non sandwiches. When you walk in it smells like fresh bagels! Smells amazing. It seems like it's a retro type bagel shop. There is no seating inside, so it is more of a grab and go place. Though, there are tables and chairs outside but very few. The guy who helped me was nice and answered my questions about the egg cup. Service though was a bit on the slower side and it was not even crowded. I wanted to try the egg, avocado, cheese and tomatoes in a cup. So I got that and a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, because obviously I am at a bagel shop have to try their bagels right? The egg cup was actually tastier than I thought, when I got to the bottom it was a bit on the watery side, probably due to the juices from tomatoes? The bagel was alright nothing special. A bit on the smaller side. The scallion cream cheese also was nothing special, not too much taste to it as I do not think there were many scallions in it. I do not think I would go out of my way to come back here, but If I find myself in the area and are hungry I may stop in.

The interior is fun (especially the well-sorted and well-written menu!) So many options but I got an everything bagel with egg + cheese (requested) and got a Cheddy Wrap (no bacon, add impossible sausage) for myself + 2 Natalies Orange Mango juices. love the Grab & Go fridges as well as the potential with the large menu. Everything sounds like the perfect combination, tons of vegetarian options + impossible sausage which is a huge plus for meee. Partner loved his bagel while my wrap was a solid 3/5. Lacking some heat, needed more sauce. I would add jalapeño or something next time. 4 stars because: 1. the food was solid, portion was filling af, and the takeout options are super convenient 2. they have a small seating area outside 3. they're one of few decent looking bagel spots around this area 4. the menu has something for everyone but is still pretty customizable 5. the guy at the counter was helpful and friendly 6. i love that they had hip hop music on blast

Ordered the fancy BEC (the bacon, egg, and cheese with hash browns) on an egg bagel. Not what I was expecting, as I felt it lacked flavor and the bagel was a weird doughy (but tough/harder) texture. Felt a bit disappointed/underwhelmed with this order. It is filling though! Total was approximately $13.

Randomly turned around the corner and found this place. Ordered three different bagels : sesame bagel, everything bagel, and pumpernickel, and we loved it! Taste is great, it's super fresh and very light dough, loved the cream cheese too. I tried a lot of bagels and this one is a must try! Service is fast and nice! Ambient is cool, place is tiny but delicious!

Amazing cozy spot to get your morning fuel! Staff is super friendly, vibes are relaxed and welcoming, and the bagel was delicious! Only thing that would make it even better is inside seating!

After a few days in the city together, my friend and I stopped in for breakfast before parting ways. The vibe was cozy, relaxed, and welcoming, exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. The giant windows lend a ton of natural light, especially for place that almost needs to wait until midday for some sunshine. The bagels absolutely hit the spot: fresh, satisfying, and exactly what we needed. Nothing overly complicated, just solid, well-executed breakfast. They have pastries and sandwiches, as well, but your girl needed a real New York bagel before this trip was through. What really stood out for me, though, was the hot cider on special. It was warm, spiced just right, and comforting for a November morning. I could easily see this shop as a regular go-to of mine if I lived in the neighborhood.

And listen... I am a chai queen, so when someone tells me a chai is worth trying, I'm going. She kept telling me, "You're going to love this chai." She orders hers with oat milk and extra cinnamon on top, so that's exactly what I got -- and when I tell you this was one of the best chai lattes I have ever had in my entire chai-drinking life? Silky. Smooth. Perfectly spiced. Just the right amount of warmth. Just... everything. Truly a great chai. The shop itself has such a good vibe. It's not huge, but the space is cozy in the best way. If you don't mind communal seating, it's perfect for settling in with your laptop or a book. They have outlets, the ambiance is chill, and it's one of those spots where you can really get work done while still feeling comfy. I haven't tried their pastries yet, but the atmosphere and that chai alone keep me coming back. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and that's something I really appreciate -- it makes the whole experience feel even better. Built Coffee has definitely become one of our go-to spots for getting out of the house, doing work, or just sipping on something warm and delicious. And again... get the chai. TRUST ME.

The first time, I got it iced and it was extremely salty and just wasn't a good latte at all. This time around, I ordered it hot and asked them to ease up on the salt since last time it was very salty, they eased up on it and it was such a great latte, I was so happy with it! I've gotten the chicken and waffles twice as well! I'm a big fan of guava infused butter and got two with my order. Generally the chicken and waffles are a HIT, but the waffles tasted a bit off to me this time around. I think it could mainly be that I was focused on how surprisingly good the brussels and coffee were, that I wasn't too focused on anything else. Service is pretty ehh to me at this place. I ended up starving and looking for a place in the neighborhood for a breakfast sandwich. Rimar looked good from the outside, there were a bunch of banners announcing them as a "brand new" business having a "grand opening". Once inside, I realized that was probably not true. Looking around, I didn't see any coffee nor was there any kind of posted menu indicating the possibility of breakfast sandwiches. The man behind the counter was friendly enough though, and took my order for 2 bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on a roll. He also indicated that he DID have coffee. Great! While I was waiting in the store for 15 minutes for my order. I noticed a woman (maybe another owner) casing the place down and staring at everyone who entered. I noticed that the rest of the store sold only a bleak selection of junk food. There was nothing interesting on the shelves! I noticed a man and woman come in, have an entirely transactional conversation and then leave, buying nothing. I noticed two separate hipsters walk in, look around and then walk out. The coffee was super hot and actually ok, I think he brewed a fresh pot on my request (thank you for that). The breakfast sandwiches were pretty awful.
