    Diabolical.

Walked by today and the line influenced me. Waited almost 45 minutes for my food (from the time I got in line to food in hand. Ordered a toasted sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, sausage, cucumber and onions. Got... everything... minus the cream cheese. What diabolical human would order this?!?

I ordered the whitefish bagel with sesame seed bagel and garlic and herb cream cheese. This was delicious! The capers topped it off. I've never had a white fish bagel before, but a friend recommended that I try one when I'm in New York, so I did. I've been in New York a few times and I've never tried a white fish bagel so I'm so happy I did, and I'm glad I did it here. We also got a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and that was delicious too. No complaints except the man at the counter that took her order wasn't very friendly. He was a little impatient and hard to understand. This was a nice treat after a long walk around central park. Seating is tight but we walked across to the mall to sit inside since it was quite windy outside and full inside the bagel shop. I took a star off because of the customer service.

Loved this bagel shop. The bagels the quick service and atmosphere was perfectly NY! My husband ordered the French toast bagel - that's was super tasty and I ordered the lox bagel, where they were freshly preparing the salmon . If you are near Central Park and you are craving a variety of bagels and mashes This is your place..We highly recommend this place !

I've ordered once for delivery through an app and once in person on a weekday morning. Through the app I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it seriously rivals some of my other favorites in the neighborhood. The bagel was soft and chewy and flavorful on its own, the sausage egg and cheese were good, on par with what you find elsewhere. I also ordered a potato latke which was amazing, but a bit disappointing they didn't provide sour cream or applesauce to go with it, thankfully I had my own and really enjoyed it. Lastly, the Turkey Club was a complete dud. I could tell it was made the previous day because the bread was hard and dried out and the bacon was chewy and cold. Had I known this was a prepared sandwich that just sits in a refrigerated case all day I would not have gotten it. I went inside on a Monday morning to reorder that amazing bagel sandwich again and was met with a line wrapped around the entire place with barely any room for people to come through the door. It's a very chaotic and cramped environment to say the least. They had an odd flow where they would take back to back orders and then stop while they start prep on that batch, then start taking orders in another small batch. Keep your receipt because they call out orders by number! Overall the bagels are great, but their other items can be a hit or miss.

Excellent lox bagels, probably our favorite of the trip! Cream cheese ratio is almost insane though.. we had to scoop a good majority out. Also appreciated the amount of red onions they put compared to other places! Salmon was fresh. We recommend!

The bagels here are SOOOOOO good. The service is a bit long because it's soooooo busy here. I recommend to order online and go pick up. The ambiance here is like a quick one stop, hardly any seating because of how busy they are. The place is a bit smaller, but I just order online and leave asap. I have been here 3x this week lol. What I got: Lox Bagel with Garlic and Herb bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Of course, got all the toppings that normally come with it lol.

By far the best bagel shop I tried on my recent trip to NYC. The service was quick even during a busy Monday morning. The bacon egg and cheese with an everything bagel was absolutely fantastic. The onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese was great as well. Highly recommend stopping by!

Decent, run of the mill bagel in NYC. Nothing special but a good stop if you're in the area.

This was a salmon Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on a toasted pumpernickel. And it gave me life.

Without a doubt, one of the best places I have gone for a bagel ever. New York bagels are just made differently. And Broad Nosh makes them spectacularly. They were on a different level in terms of texture and taste. The interior was also spacious enough to accommodate tables and booth seating, with some located on the north side of the shop and others by the storefront. It's a very busy location on 9th Avenue, just a few blocks from our hotel. The queue generally moves quickly. If you haven't been before, you hesitate in figuring out your order. It also doesn't help that you realize that you had an incredible treasure trove of cream cheese varietals behind the refrigerated display that made me second-guess my order after the fact. I would have ordered more bagels to go with the various cream cheeses. But there is next time for sure. And I'm sure there will be. My salmon, bacon, egg, and cheese were blissful and magical on toasted pumpernickel that brought me to a place of spiritual purity and strength, strength and spiritual purity. It was deeply satisfying as I washed it down with iced coffee that I had ordered there. Also very good. My eye caught their gloriously looking potato latkes at the corner end of the refrigerated display, so I added that to my order, and it was sooooooo tremendously magical. I hadn't had a latke like that before -- so girthy, fried to perfection, with the right texture and taste. It was glorious. The staff were tremendously attentive and quick to take orders and process them. They were on point, their team handled the constant flow of traffic that weaves through the establishment very well.

Back again for part III. Tried the sausage egg and cheese on a blueberry bagel and the usual smoked salmon. Also got a cheese danish and fresh squeezed orange juice. Always a memorable experience. The line moved pretty quickly, and seating was limited but made it work. Everyone was nice about trying to make sure all were warm.

Had to check off an NYC bagel before I left, and Broad Nosh Bagels delivered. The bagels were fresh, fluffy, and ginormous - exactly what you want from a New York bagel. They offer a wide range of flavors and cream cheese spreads, so there's something for every craving (they offer both sweet and savory cream cheese options). I went with the sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and it was generous in portion and satisfying in flavor. I also got another everything bagel with chipotle cream cheese, which came with a generous serving of cream cheese (as it should). Definitely worth a stop if you want the real deal bagel experience.

There are several locations of broad nosh bagels in the city, and this one is located near port authority. I had to get a classic lox and cream cheese bagel, and it was perfect. The bagel itself is fluffy with the right amount of chew, and it was packed with lots of lox. You get a ticket when you order and then present the ticket to the cashier to pay. Then you keep the ticket until they call your number for the order. It gets packed around 8am, so try to get here earlier if you want to dine in and claim one of the tables. Bathroom code is also located on the receipt.

YES! Finally a NYC bagel place that has not disappointed me. I got the everything bagel with scallion & bacon cream cheese and it was perfection! The bagel was crunchy on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. I asked it to be lightly toasted just in case the everything seasoning gets burnt, and it was the right decision. All the "viral" best bagel places I have tried were all bready and too dense, but this one was perfect. The cream cheese was delicious and there was generous amount of it. The service was also very friendly. Definitely will be back!

And I'm from Maryland (Murlyn), I don't mean a sno-ball. I mean that flaky, instantly melting ice carved mechanically using some kind of drill motor with all the torque, off a block the size of a dorm fridge and then topped with syrupy fruits and condensed milk and such. And this wasn't that either, but I now need to find a place for this near me. It was more like regular ice cream at a soft-serve consistency, topped with all the things-- that part was as expected. Hubs & I were thinking of getting two different things but we both wanted the mango madness, and then the checkout person said it was the size of a quart container. So just one then. I wish we got to see it being made up but it was full in there (at 10p, after the theaters let out), and they seated us and gave us a buzzer that went off almost immediately. We almost didn't finish it even between the two of us. Absolutely delicious, just overwhelmingly enormous. It could be a low-grade food challenge to complete it! And with all that fruit, actual mango chunks and a banana, it's practically a healthy snack. Gotta find one of these closer to home!

I was at this quaint tea shop east of Koreatown earlier in the evening before going to a meal at the excellent new Thai place, Wanglang. The staff was very friendly, and they specialize in matcha, along with having hojicha, genmaicha, black tea, and sencha. Along with more traditional drinks, they also have fruit options as well as black sugar jelly (I presume kuromitsu) and a Japanese citrus that's not seen much here, hyuganatsu. Along with the citrus, this place is rather unique as they had three different matcha options in terms of variety. As I tend to prefer teas pure and without add-ons, I ordered the Matcha Americano, which is simply matcha and water. I went with the 12-oz version for $6 + tax and ordered the Hajime, though I would likely get the Fuku No Midori next time based on descriptions online. The matcha was solid and had a mild sweetness and a light earthiness. However, it lacked some of the mouth coating found in very high-quality drinks from Sorate or Setsugekka, while being similar in price. Still, that is comparing to some of the best, and this was still very tasty and a lot better than 90% of the places in the city, being more comparable to Kettl. I wouldn't mind going back and ordering the other matcha varietal to see whether that is a better comparison. Outside of this, I enjoyed my drink, and the staff was friendly. I hope they do well.

The space is extremely compact, functioning more like a takeout counter than a café, with only minimal room inside. The main focus here is matcha, with a distinctive approach that lets you choose between three blends: Hinata, which leans creamy and nutty; Hajime, which is more smoky and earthy; and a more traditional-style matcha profile. Drinks like the mango matcha show how they play with these bases, though fruit purées can sometimes overshadow the matcha depending on the combination. They also offer matcha powder for home use and occasional fresh pastries that add a warm, baked aroma to the space. Service is one of the strongest parts of the experience. The staff is consistently warm, attentive, and willing to explain the differences between blends in detail. The atmosphere is cozy but extremely tight, built for short visits rather than lingering. It is not a workspace or hangout café, but more of a quick stop that stands out because of its hospitality and focus on craft. Even in a busy area, it leaves a memorable impression through its matcha quality and genuinely personable service.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
