Had an issue with DoorDash and the store. DoorDash picked up what the store provided. The store forgot to make our wings and DoorDash refunded us. Never going back. I took my family here and we arrived at 6:15 p.m. The restaurant was nearly empty--only two other tables were occupied. We ordered one large pizza and two kids' slices for two adults, two kids, and a toddler. It took over an hour and 15 minutes for the pizza to arrive. One of the kids' slices never even came. After waiting more than an hour and a half (for 1 pizza, 2 slices) we asked for the food to be boxed to-go. When they brought the check, they hadn't even adjusted the bill--we had to request they comp the missing and extremely delayed items. Throughout the entire time, we only saw our server once for a brief apology. No one offered drink refills, updates, or any real communication. My partner and I both have experience working as servers and usually try to be understanding, but it was clear the staff was disorganized and no one seemed to know what was going on. For what was supposed to be a fun family pizza night, the entire family left hungry and tired. The pizza is actually good but for how long it takes to order and arrive, it's not worth it. read more

I was disappointed. I called to see bout their lunch hours...it was 1:45pm When the phone was answered, I told the employee I was bot 20 minutes out...I was told it ends at 2pm... I'll be there but just a tad late...he said it ends at 2. Why would I want to go there when their customer service is like this....very disappointing. It wasn't bad. I went to Sam and Louise's for lunch. They had an awesome lunch special, and our waitress was fantastic. The food came out in a timely fashion with no issues. Had the Hawaiian pizza. As we do not care for Canadian bacon, they substituted sausage instead for us. This paired perfectly with a nice cold draft. The hand tossed crust is a favorite of ours. We were sad to lose the location near 120th and blondo. So made a special trip farther west, but it was worth the drive. Staff were friendly and attentive. Pizza tasted great! read more

I had a Philly hoagie and fries and my wife had mac and cheese for lunch. Both were the best we've ever had. Our waitress was also one of the best we've ever had. It made me feel good about tipping her. The sports bar atmosphere was also amazing plenty of screens to watch but not so noisy that we couldn't talk to each other. Finally the bathroom was one of the cleanest and brightest I've seen in a long time. So I give them five stars and hope you enjoy your meal as much as we did read more

My wife and I ordered carry out from this location. The pizza had very little meat and some sluces had almost no cheese. This was disappointing since it wasn't cheap and I could have walked 1000ft to Casey's and had a superior pizza at half the price. My wife ordered Chicken parm on fettuccine Alfredo. When they took her order over the phone they never asked if she wanted grilled or fried chicken they just assumed she wanted grilled, she did not. Also, last I checked fettuccine Alfredo wasn't a red sauce. When she called to talked to the manager he wasn't rude but essentially blamed my wife for not asking the questions the person taking the order should have asked. I will not ever step foot in another Sam & Louie's. They need lots of traing when taking an order or dealing with a customer over the phone. read more

We have been loyal customers of Sam and Louie's for many years. Tonight, we ordered the same pizza we have for years. It came wrong. No sauce and no pepperonis. I called to ask them to make it right and they only offered to make a new pizza (which we would have to go get. We ordered delivery bc we are not in their general area) or call Uber eats and complain. He wasn't willing to offer credit or problem solve with me since Uber eats apparently pays them a month or so later. Well, I guess the money for that one pizza was worth losing regular customers. read more

I have driven by this restaurant several times and you cannot really see this place from the main 204th Street when you do pass by since it's located in the back area of an older strip mall near Godfathers Pizza. Tonight was the opportunity to eat at Sam & Louies. Everything started fine, drink and food orders were taken. I was pleasantly surprised I was able to order a single slice of pizza separately from my entree of chicken parmigian with pasta. This dish came with a variety of choices for a side dish and I picked the onion rings. The server came by several times to check on us which was appreciated. The pizza was a New York style and was above par. The chicken parmigian was average with taste and the chicken meat wasn't a good breast cut. At the end, the bill showed an extra charge for the onion rings which I protested since there wasn't any warning or information given to us that onion rings were a upcharge from all the other side dishes. The server profusely apologized and removed the charge. Based on food quality and the upcharge on the side dish, I gave this restaurant 3 stars. read more

We have eaten here before and the food and service were very good. Last night we went and it was completely different experience. Ordered a carnivore pizza like usual but had to wait along time to get it. After picking up a piece we saw why it took so long. The pie was not only over done, the crust was absolutely black. Also only about half the usual ingredients on top. Told the server and he said sorry, but wouldn't do anything about it. We have always enjoyed Sam and Louii's but will never return to this location again. I would advise others to stay away also. read more

We were trying to support local and small restaurants on this #takeouttuesday and have to say I'm very unimpressed. We ordered a large cheese pizza which was very bland and dry. It had no flavor whatsoever. I couldn't even tell if there was sauce on it. We also ordered some noodles with what we thought was marinara cheese sauce and what we got was cold dry noodles with barely anything on them. The sauce was pretty much non-existent, so we couldn't tell if it was supposed to be like macaroni and cheese sauce or what, but it was not good. It came with a side of waffle fries which were over cooked and again no flavor. The only thing good we got was the meatballs on the pasta dish. Those had flavor and were delicious. My wife surprised me with two pizzas from Sam & Louie's, delivered at work. I'd never had their pizza before, but it was outstanding. The crust had plenty of flavor -- far from the pasty, bland afterthought so many other places serve up -- and the toppings were fresh and all in the right proportion. I am extremely disappointed. I love this restaurant and I have been coming here for years. The food is amazing and the waitresses are super sweet. I'm not impressed with the cooks. None of them were wearing masks or gloves. I work in the food industry and know the requirements because of covid. This is putting all staff and customers at risk. If one of them has covid then the rest of us will. I came to eat with my mom who is very high risk. We are very cautious and we talked to them about the masks. The waitress went and expressed our concerns. Still none of the men will wear them. read more

Absolutely horrifying! I can see why their stores are closing everywhere and they're now unheard of. There are frozen pizzas that are better than their pizza. Also, their ungodly prices for poorest quality food I've ever eaten doesn't even deserve one star, but I had to give them something. Avoid at all costs, unless you want to find hair in your food, disgusting and cold, tastes like 6 day old, and reheated pizza, and pay $9 for a few pieces of at least 3 day old, cold and stale "cheese bread".
