But the other time was fantastic, when we tried the Grandma, a build-your-own with sardines (both on regular crust), a side of meatballs, and a side salad. The meatballs are perfect: soft, great flavor, good size, with fresh tasting marinara and fresh basil. I loved the little, tangy, salty sardines! Wonderful, and they didn't make the pizza soggy. The salad dressing is also good--simple, delicious, tangy. There are also a selection of Italian sodas and Mexican Coca-Cola. I tried one of the Sicily lemon sodas and it was delightful--the aromatics of the lemons shine beautifully through the velvety fizziness. I enjoyed the ambiance here, too. Just a few small tables along a wall, with bench seating on one side and chairs on the other side. The big windows letting in plenty of natural light are so nice! And all of our servers have been so patient while we decided, answered questions, and even helped us find the perfect combination for the day! I always appreciate great customer service. One caveat: I don't know why, but the ladies' bathroom door was incredibly hard to open/close! I actually just stood outside the door so my girlfriend could use the bathroom in peace! But it wasn't like that when I went before with my husband and one of our sons, so I don't think it's an always issue. But a sometime issue like this is worth looking into fixing, because my friend would not have been able to close/open the door, and I can imagine other, weaker ladies, grandmas, etc., having a problem, too.

Fresh veggies, good bite everywhere and I could even eat the whole thing where other places I throw away crusts. One slice of these both was enough to fill me. I saw other reviewers say they got half and half which was not an option for delivery through DD but I wish it was as I would have loved to try some more of the unique topping options. That and I was missing some garlic sauce to dip it in! But other than those things I thought this place was great and I'll definitely order again to try more kinds. Experience is largely the same as always. The deep dish pizzas are unique and delicious, but take time to come out. Be prepared. Cocktail was subpar. Ordered Bombay Sapphire martini, what came out was drinkable but something else. Our server offered to make another one personally, but she described watching the bartender make the first one and I opted not to replace. Next time (and there will be a next time, the pizza is tasty) I will have a beer in a bottle.
