Pad Ew Udon with Shrimp was so good. The texture and flavor. And washed it down with a purple lemonade. Great service and prompt! This location is more of a take out spot cause there's only 2 tables. Just found this hidden gem. It's small but the food is mighty, it's clean and they have an A rating, the customer service was actually good as well. I ordered from the lunch menu. Basil fried rice with chicken, 2 shrimp dumplings and a salad with peanut sauce. The portion size was very decent for a lunch menu. This place must be popular because it was packed. But now I can see why everyone was there on their lunch break because the food is awesome. They stole my money via Door Dash. I never received my food , provided proof that I contacted the Door Dasher about my missing food. The Dasher never showed. I received a text that he was arriving. I went to the door and waited, no dasher, no food. I then received a text that my food was delivered! I texted the dashed, he never replied. I reached out to Door Dash, they told me to call Grace Thai. Door Dash offered 25% back. When I said that was unacceptable, Grace Thai offered 35%. Ok...so Door Dash said one amount, they offered more? So who is responsible? I believe that keeping a repeat customer happy would be paramount. I spent hundreds at Grace Thai...but they refused to return my $43.00. I would avoid Grace Thai and Door Dash. They seem to be run by and hire unscrupulous miscreants. read more

I've ordered take-out from here twice and the food is pretty darn great. The first time, I got the vegetable pad see ew, chicken red curry, and chicken pineapple fried rice. The red curry was everyone's favorite. I got it mild so it had a little bit of a kick, and it was so flavorful and delicious. I also loved the vegetable pad see ew--it was cooked perfectly (not too wet and not too dry) and very tasty. The pineapple fried rice was everyone's least favorite. It was completely yellow in appearance because of the insane amount of tumeric used... if you love tumeric, this is the dish for you! I personally did not love it and would not order it again. The second time, I got the chicken pad see ew, chicken panang curry, and the chicken cashew nut. Comparing chicken pad see ew to the vegetable pad see ew I got the first time, I actually preferred the vegetable one. It seemed a little more bland with the chicken. I was not a fan of the panang curry because I personally did not love that hint of sweetness, but my friend loved the panang curry. I preferred the red curry over panang, but my friend said the panang was superior. Lastly, I really enjoyed the cashew nut. I ordered it not spicy but I did think it had the tiniest kick to it. My grandma and I ordered from Grace Thai through UberEats. The process was quick and easy. They were running a special for a free side of spring rolls for orders of $30+, which was great because I wouldn't have ordered them otherwise! All the food we ordered turned out delicious. The Thai Iced Tea was very sweet, but was also refreshing. I always judge Thai restaurants based on their noodle and curry dishes, both of which were fantastic! The Drunken Noodle was perfect, as the noodles had just the right texture and flavor. The Massaman Curry was delicious and had plenty of chicken. It was missing the peanuts, though, which would have been a nice textural element. Next time I'm in the area, I'd like to visit the restaurant in person! This is a super tiny Thai place that is somewhat new at just over a year old. There are just a couple of tables inside and as a result, the majority of their business is takeout. I do not judge places by appearances, but it is something worth mentioning if you were thinking of a place to eat out. We had their massaman curry and green curry. Their portion sizes and prices were standard, so no complaints there. In terms of the food though, we found everything to be a little bland. The flavor was on point, and the slight charred flavor of the Chinese broccoli was a nice combo. The only con was the chicken pieces. They were on the drier side, and I ended up pawning it off haha. Guys, this place is SO GOOD! AND they are open for seated dining! Easily one of the best places to eat Thai in Queens, and perhaps the city. I've been getting takeout from them every now and then (their lunch special is great and amazing value), but today I decided to see if they do seated dining. The place is small, but we're fully vaccinated and I didn't want to find a place to eat outdoors. The owner is such a kind soul and was so excited to tell us that we were the FIRST customers to be served seated dining! What?? This place opened last year, and I've only seen it do takeout, which was probably due to the pandemic-- but they're finally doing seated dining and their already amazing food somehow tasted even better when you dine in! They take precautions while serving you - everyone wears masks and gloves. The napkins even come in a box that you can take yourself. On with the food. We arrived around dinner time and ordered curry puffs, drunken noodles and green curry; the entrees we got vegan and asked for tofu. The menu also has photos for reference. The curry puffs (comes w/ 3) were flaky and tasty, and the dip it comes with complements it nicely. Solid appetizer, it tastes like a samosa but if you wrapped it in puff pastry. The drunken noodles, which we ordered "spicy" came spicy just liked we asked. The default spice level still comes with chilis/jalapenos so it's got a little kick anyways, and "spicy" comes just right at my tolerance. I have tried most of their noodle dishes when I order takeout, they are all very solid. Drunken noodles are my go to. The green curry was probably the most amazing dish I've ever had throughout this pandemic. It's the best thing I've had in a VERY long time. Eating this dish gave me hope for the dining scene in 2021 and beyond. It is creamy, sweet, fresh, and hearty all at the same time. We ordered extra rice just so we can eat up all the sauce. Even the rice is delicious and soaks up the curry perfectly. The owner spoke to us about all the lengths he goes to ensure the food Grace Thai serves is top quality and made with love. It is really evident. They use all fresh ingredients and never take any shortcuts. The tofu used in the dishes is crispy/fried prior to being incorporated, and the eggplant in the curry is cooked in a similar way to ensure they retain texture while absorbing flavor. They even soak fresh bamboo shoots to avoid using the canned stuff, which many places do. The real stuff just tastes so much better. The vegan recipes also took a lot of work developing, which we SO appreciated. They even just bought a fancy expensive water filter in preparation of sit-down dining. So, you better go visit and ask for some seats! I can't talk enough about my meal, how kind the owner is, and how so much love is put into the restaurant. There used to be a Thai place by my house had these same looking chive cakes and I loved them so when I saw them in the photos I immediately had to order. Every single thing I got was insanely good. Horrible experience! I am not going back. Their website is well built and seemed nice. I ordered the Grilled Honey Chicken with Egg Fried Rice (mild) but what I received was not chicken, this is some kind of processed/fake whatever but its not chicken. Rice wasn't great either. At first look, I thought it was pork until I cut the cutlet open and bit into it. It didn't taste like chicken and it looked like a fake processed cutlet of chicken on the inside. Too bad because this place looks nice inside, eventhough it is very small but one could not judge by its cover or the website. I'd say at at your own risk. I ordered a Thai Fried rice (not spicy with pork). Sometimes simple dishes such as fried rice are the hardest to master, in favor, taste, and texture. And this is one of the best-fried rice I've eaten.  I've tried the same dish as other Thai restaurants and usually it's too bland, not aromatic, or the ingredients are put together and fried.  But this dish aromatic and savory when it was cooked. With each bite, you can taste the stir-friedness of the dish.  My partner also got a Pad-se-ew (with chicken), which is a stir-fried flat noodle, a bit on the sweeter side. Her dish was also very good (aromatic and flavor) however, the chicken was bland and dried, almost as if it was added at the end and not cooked together with the rest of the dish. The dish would've been better if the chicken was removed.  Overall, I liked the food a lot and the pricing is affordable. I would definitely come back to try other dishes. There's also a lunch special (11:30am to 4pm everyday) that comes with salad or soup, a can drink and fried rice or noodles which I think gives you the best value. read more

This is my favorite place in Rego Park to order take out from! I usually order red curry and Thai tea. I recommend ordering online through their website - when you order direct you get 10% off your entire order. The online option is mostly easy to use and it allows you to customize the dish, and every time I've added comments they've read them. Every time I go in, they're so friendly and my food is ready very quickly. They also package things carefully to avoid spills (the Thai tea always comes with the straw hole taped and plastic wrap over the lid), and they never forget the napkins and utensils. The food is always fresh and the flavors are delicious. On top of all this, they have really great prices - especially for the lunch specials. They have a lot of vegan items, and even dedicate a section of the menu as vegan, which states that the food is not made with fish, eggs, meat, or dairy. My non-vegan family and I can ALL eat here together. My husband loves the drunken noodles with chicken, and my son adores the calamari, that is always crispy and served with a sweet sauce. The food improved. When I first ordered from here, it was eh. The drunken noodles didn't seem to have much meat, veggies and the noodles just seemed to be sparse. They were heavy with the onions and carrots and seemed to be lacking in others. Now I don't even order with the onions and carrots and they only add a few (3) pieces of broccoli and red pepper pieces. Still light on the veggies that I now have to supplement the veggies that I want. Over the months the taste improved on the drunken noodles and I now order it fairly regularly. I WISH they would add more veggies in their regular portion. To get more of anything there is an uncharge! When I first ordered chicken, there was so little (and this was when COVID restrictions lifted). Just pretty much flat noodles. Though I am glad that I gave them another chance, they should add more veggies other than onions and carrots. I tried the jungle curry, seemed watery and was just hot. Little flavor. I also tried the pad Thai, and it didn't seem to have as much flavor as the drunken noodles. I LOVE GRACE Thai, just wish they would give a little more veggies on the regular portion. read more
