Had all 4 Wisdom molars removed at 46yrs old, 2 standard extraction and 2 lower had to be surgically removed from a Professional Dental Surgeon and her name was Dr Edith. (Amazing Work)Everything went perfect, with very little to no discomfort and I was up and running the next day like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend the Dental office of Dr Ignacio De La Vega and his staff. Everybody there is so kind and they treat you very well and they all show that LOVE what they do. Their office is close to Hotels and parking structures and pharmacies.( They speak English as well) Thank you Dr. De La Vega and my Surgeon Dr. Edith and also a personal thank you to Karina the Receptionist and all of the kind staff for your professional service. After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​

Their office is located in an upscale professional medical building and the pictures on their website are of their actual office. It was as nice or nicer than any dentist office I've been to in the U.S. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and spoke English well. Dr. Jessica was excellent - thorough, attentive, and easy to communicate with. While I initially chose to come here for the prices, I was most impressed by the quality of care. The appointment was not rushed, and there was no attempt to upsell or push to add unnecessary procedures. I will definitely return.

My dentist in LA wanted to charge for a crown and work I didn't need. Her practice has state of the art equipment including the newest handheld X-ray equipment so they don't have to jam plastic inserts into your mouth. They have outstanding imaging software so you can see everything in high definition color. If you are thinking about driving to Mexico to get dental work done, just do it. The doctors in the US are most likely ripping you off and doing work you don't need. Dr. Olivas does too quality work and is honest. Well worth the drive.
