I would definitely give them a 5.5 the price is the best thing they got. The food average at best and it ain't nothing but junkies and unsanitary Mexicans hanging around. The cook knew I saw his nasty ass touch the trash can with the same gloves on and proceeded to touch the food. It's a reason why you only see a certain type of people in there.

I had an early morning appointment and really wanted a breakfast sandwich with a salmon patty and I noticed this spot off of Graham and called to place my order. Their menu has salmon patty and salmon croquette and I was told the salmon patty was a homemade and the other was not so I ordered a salmon patty sandwich with egg on toast. The sandwich was good the patty was breaded which was weird but not bad at all. It's a small location and mostly takeout but there was just a table or two inside.

Food was ok. I ordered one of there main burgers and it was so so. I asked for extra mayonnaise and didn't receive it. I asked for no Tomatoes and it was put on it. The service was very very slow! And the lady up front that was taking the orders, it seem like she had a attitude. Will I go back? No not at all

Pretty good food! I love places that serve lunch for breakfast. I work the overnight schedule, so by the time I am off, my breakfast is long gone. I ordered a catfish sandwich and three jumbo wings with fries (greedy I know). The catfish sandwich was very seasoned and crispy, but I do wish the catfish was meatier and there was more tartar sauce on the sandwich. I added hot sauce to it for some more sauce. The chicken wings were definitely jumbo honey. What makes a good fried wing to me is size, seasoning, and crispiness. This wing definitely had all three. The wings were served with crinkled fries and a roll. I would definitely order this again! Individual Rating: Catfish Sandwich: 3/5 Jumbo wings and fries: 4/5 The prices here were definitely very affordable. A whole in a wall spot serving both lunch and breakfast all day. Even though they close early, this place is right outside of uptown with very good food. I would give it a try if you are in the area!

in town for some necessary business and felt the midmorning crash coming on so I stopped by the Graham Street Grill to try to get ahead of it. store front sandwich shop in a 3-spot plaza is not much to look at from the street... could be goodies?! menu board behind the counter is way too big to even matter at this point: variations on dogs, burgers, sandwiches, salads and stuff... so how about a cowboy? double cheeseburger plus fries, add a beverage and Al Hamilton still has you covered. no place to sit and enjoy this as the stools by the windows are more for waiting than eating especially with the plague and distancing and masking and sanitation and all the inconveniences to which we've recently grown accustomed... so I park down the road by camp north end where I get to see a minor collision in the construction zone while tucking into my taters. so very many hot, crispy, flaky, crinkle cuts that I could have used a half dozen more ketchups and still been short. burger was a pleasant surprise, nothing exotic or fancy just cheese between a couple meat patties on some lettuce, tomato, and onion with a squish of mustard. hot and moist but not greasy and to my delight it tasted all hamburgery. even got me feeling good about the rest of the day! if I get back down here I think I'll try an egg-burger all the way plus hash browns...

Really and my order was wrong

They put this end of tomato on my burger on top of giving me fries when I ask for onion rings....

Pre-renovation, they were hosting monthly wine tastings which I attended monthly! While these have not been brought back yet, my fingers are tightly crossed these go back on the calendar soon! When requested a manager to assist, to see if we could have either an update on when the food would be ready or if we could have a refund as we needed to leave, the male manager rudely spoke over me to mansplain and "talk me down" in his words. Sadly - we just wanted clear communication and understanding of if the food would arrive in time for our party to eat. To be cut off and spoken over loudly with excuses was not the service we hoped - overall disheartening.

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.

I ordered the Rhino Club described on the menu as: Boar's Head Branded Deluxe Ham, Lower Sodium Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, provolone, bibb lettuce, tomato, dijon vin on choice of bread. The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.

And their recipe for success is pretty simple: fresh, honestly made food served hot, and with a smile. There's no indoor seating (and not much outdoors, for that matter), limited parking, and no booze, but the chili cheeseburger, served in a wax paper wrap and dripping with greasy flavor, is a quintessential Queen City experience. Service was fast and friendly, and you can enjoy your meal at a covered picnic table or (as we did) in your car. I wouldn't say Brooks makes the city's 'best burger' (much less 'the World's,' as the sign claims), but its homemade goodness will remind you of simpler days, when it was a lot easier to find reliably tasty comfort food at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit from anywhere in Charlotte.

As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.
