Both were outstanding - I could easily have tried a few more of the dessert cocktails, but alas we had a 40 minute drive home so that will have to wait for another visit. Next time, we are definitely going to try their signature cocktail - The Jungle Bird (served in a cage): bumbu rum, campari, amaretto, lime, pineapple, brown sugar, pineapple wedge. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. In years past, this use to be a very popular destination for a motorcycle ride. I imagine in nice weather it's likely to be the same. There is an absolutely huge parking lot. Anyway, the Fish & Chips were pretty great. Old School style, with a flour based batter, thin and crispy brown on the outside. The fish was nice, firm, piping hot and delicious. I also got an order of Clam Cakes, and though they aren't road trip worthy like an Aunt Carries, I didn't leave a single one left over. Not too shabby. One helpful hint. If you're going for dinner, have a look at the website to see if it's a live music night. On the night we visited, the band was rocking, and the show started early, so dinner that night definitely came with music.
