The Lord of the Wings brought me here last night, but it's not my first time at this establishment. When you walk in, it smells like bread baking. A cute hostess area for pickup orders, but we headed to the small dining room and grabbed a table. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and a meatlovers pub pizza. Our server/bartender was pleasant and attentive the whole time. Our food arrived looking great. The wings were cooked nicely, jumbo sized with super crispy texture and juicy on the inside. The garlic Parmesan was... Interesting. I believe it's a mayo based sauce, similar to an Alabama white BBQ sauce. I could see the appeal in it but it wasn't for me personally. The pizza was great as usual. I love the combination of the toppings on the meatlovers with the sauce. I enjoyed every bite. While I don't need an excuse to come to Grainsley's as it's in my semi regular rotation, I didn't mind the chance to come back sooner than later for some awesome wings and pizza!

Ohh what a delightful little hole in the wall. This place is definitely worth more than what they charge. They make all of their food fresh and it taste so good, let me tell you. We started with the mozzarella triangles, the cheese pull was serious! Then the bacon jalapeno pizza and the chicken parmesan sandwich hit the spot. This restaurant is family owned and the first day that I ever tried it happen to be there five year anniversary and they were giving out free cake too! The service here was great &the staff is very friendly. I definitely would like to return to tryout the bar area too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stopped into Grainsley's for the RI Food Fights pizza challenge and ordered the Taste of Italy pub pizza. This had meatballs, sausage, and ricotta. The service was great. I sat at the bar. I felt very welcomed and bit people behind the bar checked on me and kept my glass filled. The pizza was really good. You have a choice of pub style or NY style. I went with the pub style (I bit thicker and the toppings to the edge). It was very good. The restaurant has tables but the bar is where it's at! I went at dinner time on a Thursday and there were some regulars and some people in for the challenge. The bar is very nice with a granite top. It was clean with an upscale feeling. Not a bad place to go with friends and grab a beverage and a pizza or the other pub fare they serve.

We've been here a couple of times and the pizza is really good! Last night we got the meat lover's pizza and a build your own pizza with tomatoes, ricotta, and basil. Both pizzas had generous toppings, a crispy crust, and toppings nearly all the way to the edge. We've always gotten the pub style smalls, but someday soon I'd like to try the NY style larges. Last night when we arrived at about 6:30, the bar was hopping, and several of the tables in the dining room were occupied. Our server was also the bartender, and even though she was obviously really busy with both roles, she did an amazing job. Our drink order was taken promptly and the drinks were both delicious - Cranberry Mule and a Toto's & Cran. Our server told us that Wednesdays is half off on wings and that Grainsleys wings ad won awards from RI Food Fights, so we decided we needed to try them. The 1 lb order of buffalo wings included 6 wings with ranch or bleu cheese (we got both) and they lived up to the recommendation! Sauce was delicious - it wasn't just your average Frank's red hot - it had more seasonings and flavor. Atmosphere is really nice and comfortable as well. There are tables near the windows which will seat 4-6, and also a few tables in the center of the dining room that can comfortable fit about 6 as well. In addition to the bar seating, there is also a comfortable couch that would be great for two people enjoying drinks. A great place for food and drinks if you happen to be in the Warwick area!

Grainsley's is handling the Lord of the Pies differently than most places. The logical move is to offer a basic cheese or pepperoni, keep it small, keep costs manageable. Grainsley's went the other direction. Choose your style. Bar pie or New York. Any ten inch pie. Any toppings you want. They're not interested in showing you the budget version. They want you to see what they actually make. The room feels right. Lighting low enough to be comfortable without crossing into that territory where you're using your phone as a flashlight to read toppings. You can settle in without feeling like you're on display or sitting in a cave. The service delivered. People who paid attention, helped when needed, smiled, seemed like they wanted to be there. No fake enthusiasm, no ignoring you until the check comes. Just great hospitality. We got two pies. Meat lovers as a bar pie. Tour of Italy on New York style. They came out together. The bar pie nailed it. Thin with structure. Crispy without turning brittle. The toppings were impressive. Pepperoni brought a bit of heat and a bit of tang. Sausage added fennel and richness. Bacon contributed smoke and salt. As soloists, each one was delicious on its own. But with every bite they worked together as a band, each element complementing the others instead of competing. Tour of Italy shifted the equation. The New York style crust had more body, more chew, good color on the bottom. Those ricotta dollops scattered on top cut through everything with a creamy mildness that balanced the heavier flavors underneath. The sausage and pepperoni played their parts, but the ricotta changed the dynamic entirely. Made it lighter somehow while still being substantial. The ten inch size hits the sweet spot. Big enough to share without turning into a competitive eating situation. Small enough that nobody's tapping out halfway through. Smart call for a pizza crawl like this. Offering both styles shows real confidence. Most places commit to one approach and perfect it. Grainsley's is willing to let you choose and believes they'll execute either one well. That's not overconfidence, it's capability. Four pizzas deep, this spot registers differently. Quality ingredients, kitchen that knows what it's doing, space that lets you relax, and top notch service. They didn't water down their offering for the competition. They show you what they actually make. They make happy customers. Definitely worth coming back when you're not trying to eat six pizzas in one day. We will.

Good Pizza - Not Bar Pizza Small place, intimate vibe, small bar with some high tables and booths around. We ordered 2 items here wings and pizza. The wings were cooked right (crispy) but had a strange homemade buffalo sauce that we didn't really care for. The second item was a supposed "bah" pizza. Now, I will preface that my wife and I have gone to basically every south shore bar pizza making establishment in Massachusetts. Probably been to over 50 spots and all of the places considered institutions. This is not bar pizza. It is a small regular pizza. The dough is not your typical pie like dough with the laced crunchy edge and fry like consistency of a SSBP. We know this because there is no way to lace the edges of this dough. That is not say that the pizza wasn't good. I thought it was tasty and would order again, but it's not SSBP. Overall, this spot is ok and hope the best from them as a small business to do well. The real shining light here was the service. We were treated extremely well and the young lady that served us was more than attentive. We were greatly appreciative. If we're in the area we'll probably stop back in. Thanks

Decided to go on an impromptu picnic to Conimicut Point Park last night and looked up food in the area. The reviews for this restaurant looked promising, so we opted for the small hot honey pizza and an order of fries. Fries were fresh, pizza was greasy- maybe the pepperoni/ honey combination was the culprit. I would go back a second time to try a different pizza before knocking it. The staff is friendly, and the vibes of the restaurant are pretty chill. I could see how this would become a go-to pub place for people that live in the area. On street parking only!

Everything we ate was incredible and their bar pizza is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten! It's not too thin like a flatbread, has a little flop and the dough itself is so tasty because I believe bar pie has some butter in it. For myself, I ate one Taste of Italy pizza $14 and one buffalo chicken $12. Both were delicious and I love the smooth ricotta along with tasty meatball chunks on the Taste of Italy. Then you can't go wrong with buffalo chicken pizza, but I do have to say they needed to put more chicken on it. Taste of Italy had enough meat. My brother got their Angry Hawaiian pizza ($14) and gave me a few slices. The taste was incredible and it wasn't too spicy - the buffalo chicken pizza had more heat to it. My brother also got their Cajun chicken wrap ($13) and his girl got a chicken Caesar wrap ($13). They looked so good, filled well, not dry and weren't too small. They did say they love them. Very casual atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly. My only con, besides the lack of chicken on the buff pizza, was this place has no cell phone service. I'll be back for sure - $10 for a cheese pizza? I'm in.

Went here for #rifoodfights #lordofwing tour for 2025. Took suggestion of owner for combo of buffalo and garlic parm sauces, did not disappoint. Wings were cooked well, and sauced very well. Had great conversation with owner at bar about all things food. Great local spot that has great food. Make your way there!!

RI Lord of the Wings winner? Oh yeah we need to give it a try since it was one of the few places we didn't not make it to during competition. The smell when you walk in... tantalizing! The environment- cozy. I love when tables are paired with benches or couches. Also, how can you go wrong with Biggie in the bathroom? (Answer: you can't.) The menu: basic but has enough options for most people. Our split order: Garlic parm wings Bacon pizza Chicken ceasar salad wrap Let's get into these 'award winning' wings- Not my winner! Even after eating them- not my winner. They had the sauce smothered on top. I like a sauce baked into them. They were not as crispy as I like them. Not even at meaty as other places in the competition. I was not blown away by these wings. They were ok. Also, not the best garlic parm sauce. Could be better. The wrap needed more dressing but it was hearty. Chock full. The pizza is the winner here. Bar pie. Could be cooked more. My daughter had a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza looked the best out of the three pizzas on the table. I have to say their pizza fell a little short since I just had Smitty's recently and their bar pie is way better.

Excellent food made fresh from scratch, local craft beers on tap, extensive cocktail options, cute decor and an urban pub vibe. The mozzarella triangle appetizer is excellent, and the marinara sauce that accompanied it was so good it could be bottled and sold. There are several inventive pizza combinations, or you can make your own. I don't eat meat, and I ordered a cheese pizza with jalapeños on my first visit, then tried the "Angry Hawaiian" without the bacon on my second visit. It comes with jalapeños and a "habanero drizzle" and is delicious and spicy. The pizzas are 10 inches with a thinner, crispy crust, which I prefer. There is a large bar and a handful of hightop and regular tables. My sister and her husband have an outdoor pizza oven that they ordered from Italy and can cook as good as any restaurant chef; I took them here and they thought all the food was great. I grew up in Warwick and return often to visit my family. This restaurant is a pleasant alternative to other restaurants in the area, which seem to serve similar menus of standard fare. read more

Tried Grainsley's tonight for the first time for an early dinner after work with my husband and 2 kids. Loved the decor and atmosphere - everything was super clean and loved the colors of all of the seats and pictures on the walls. We tried : Mozzarella triangles - they were homemade and amazing the marinara sauce is also homemade and delicious with a generous serving size ! My kids loved the French fries they were homemade and cooked to perfection . They almost reminded me of the homemade ones you used to be able to get at Schartners Farms years ago fresh! We split the angry Hawaiian pizza and Italian grinder both were delicious ! Excited to have a bee spot close by! Drinks and service were great and super attentive ! read more

Eat and drink here, this place is a gem. The staff are friendly and wonderful.... Boyfriend liked the buffalo wings, and these might be the best fries I've ever had. The menu is pretty small - pizza, sandwiches, wings. The eclectic decor is charming and well done. Someone has a very good eye. I also love the quirky paintings. read more

Just tried for the first time and I will definitely be back. We heard the wings won RI's best and they did not disappoint. All of the food we had was amazing, we tried the buffalo mozzarella (which was actually mozzarella with buffalo not buffalo mozzarella - but amazing), the boneless buffalo wings, and the pizza. Hands down best boneless wings I've ever had, and their sauce was amazing! We chatted with Helen at the end of our meal and we're informed all of the food is homemade including the buffalo sauce and ranch. The service was great, a ton of people but we were accommodated right away and they stayed on top of our food and drinks. Drinks - cocktails were fabulous, I had seen a drink online that was not available, but the bartender (owner) made me a custom cocktail, I finished my meal with an espresso martini and I'd highly recommend! If you're looking for high quality food with a laid back atmosphere, this is your spot! Great pub pizza and possibly the best Italian sub I've had! The BEST french fries and scratch made dipping sauces. Mozzarella triangles were so good we got an order to go which heated up perfectly in the air fryer. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I cant say enough good things about this place. From placing the order on the phone with the woman who was extremely kind and knowledgeable to the delicious homemade food, this is a must try! We had boneless garlic Parmesan wings, mozzarella triangles, a Caesar salad and a customized pizza. My family and I are blown away by the quality! We will most definitely be back (probably weekly) thank you for coming to Connimicut!! read more

First time to the area, we stopped here due to proximity, vibe and Yelp reviews. It did not disappoint. Had the Taste of Italy pizza, which was excellent even by NY standards, as were the Mozzarella Triangles. My wife enjoyed the Wings, and the salad was fine. All in all, excellent food at a reasonable price with good service. read more

Stopped in for a last minute dinner tonight. So glad we did. The food was great, pizza was tasty and the wings were very good. Great local beer selection on tap. The staff was so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and laid back, but very cool and modern. Bar area look like a great spot to hang out. We will definitely be back. read more

The food is phenomenal! I've dined in once but mostly had take out. Every time the food has been great! My husband is very picky about restaurants and when he finally tried the food, he was raving how good it was. The boneless chicken wings are my favorite. They are lightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Everything is made from scratch. Heck, I even think the ranch dressing is homemade. Definitely didn't taste like the bottled stuff lol! The staff here is so friendly and appreciative of your business. Makes me want to order here every night! read more

Stopped in after seeing multiple recommendations and the Facebook page postings. The atmosphere was quiet, as would expected at this time with covid. It was quaint and charming, very very clean and following all guidelines, didn't feel the least but uncomfortable dining in. The food was EXCELLENT from start to finish. Everything was made fresh and to order. Staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a stop by having a bite to eat. We will definitely be returning, without any question. We will be telling all our friends, maybe even going back with a few of them. This is without question a great small business to support Stop by and Check it out.... you will NOT regret your decision !! read more

We found this place by reviewing what other Yelpers had posted. We couldn't let the opportunity pass us by to both support local small business AND take advantage of their delicious food! The wings are tender and tasty and the mozzarella triangles are literally to DIE for. A creative mix of spices enhanced the already uniqueness of the mozz. Fresh panko and homemade marinara topped off these little pieces of smooth heaven. We ordered our pizzas (yes, multiple pizzas) to go trusting that this culinary delight translates to that menu item. We will definitely be back. We will definite post pictures next time. Food was just soooo good it disappeared before I had a chance to snap it! Topped off with a Conimicut Girl cocktail, the red-white-blue creation crafted by our bartender, Scott. It's worth the drive if you're not right there in the neighborhood. FINALLY bar seats are open again in RI. My hubby and I love to sit at the bar so we decided to try Grainsley's and it did not disappoint. The bartender was very attentive with awesome recommendations. We started with the mozzarella triangles and oh my word they are the best I've ever had. Most mozz sticks become firm as they cool but these maintained the best texture and flavor. We also enjoyed the garlic parm boneless tenders and the batter was light and crunchy and the chicken super *moist* (lol). Came in for the first time tonight - so glad we did! It's a new place and the staff are awesome and super friendly. Scotty was our bartender/server, he made awesome margaritas! I strongly recommend the angry Hawaiian (if you like spicy) and the ricotta pizza! Any pizza is probably a good choice because the crust is perfectly crispy! Grainsley's has become our regular Friday night. The ice cold beer starts things off right and the mozzarella triangles are off the chart. We like to add some boneless wings and hand cut french fries to fill our stomachs. The music sets a comfortable tone and the staff makes you feel welcome. I can't wait for Friday!! read more

In years past, this use to be a very popular destination for a motorcycle ride. I imagine in nice weather it's likely to be the same. There is an absolutely huge parking lot. Anyway, the Fish & Chips were pretty great. Old School style, with a flour based batter, thin and crispy brown on the outside. The fish was nice, firm, piping hot and delicious. I also got an order of Clam Cakes, and though they aren't road trip worthy like an Aunt Carries, I didn't leave a single one left over. Not too shabby. One helpful hint. If you're going for dinner, have a look at the website to see if it's a live music night. On the night we visited, the band was rocking, and the show started early, so dinner that night definitely came with music.

Overall not good. Bar was very unorganized, it really grosses me out when dirty glasses/mixers/plates are left all over the place, especially when it's not that busy. Pretty dead for a Saturday and still did not get the attention should have. didn't see a reason for him to be so behind and lack such attention. His mood was also not there, seemed like a grumpy guy. It's not that hard to clean up after yourself, if it's busy I understand but it was not, he was just messy. Just kinda skeeved me out and ruined it for me. I've given a few tries because I love to support a local business, but I'm not ready to strike out. Both times We sat in the bar area. The food was bland and service not good. Pizza was soggy, fries were overdone and tasted burnt, bartender wasn't attentive and only seemed to care about the people he already knew at the other end of the bar.
