The search for Italian hoagie perfection continues... This time we have a more favorable review. Being my first time at Grammy's I was drawn in..like everyone else by the baked goods. I held off..well sort of. Now on to the sangwhich..I went with Big Jeff's Italian Sub. Big Jeff knows how to eat. This sadly was not a sub. Sub is on a sub roll..not chibatta bread. I KNOW..how dare I sully Grammy's name. The flavor of this sangwhich was definaly there..just the bread threw me off. Remember..I am looking for my Italian Hoagie perfection. It was good..had the Zip and Zing of the dressing, meats and onions I had been looking for..but that bread..just didn't cut it for me or my east coast neghibor who got the other half. Loved what I believe were homemade potato chips but the lovely young lady who brought out our goodies couldn't confirm. Oh yes, and who can forget the giant plate of first timer garlic knots. You can seriously use those as a sandwhich bun on their own. Will I be back? absolutely. I have a whole list of things to try. Did I walk out with a giant chocolate chip cookie? ...again..Absolutly. Was I annoyed to stand in the same line as people ordering to pay my bill? Only slightly because I grabbed that cookie after standing there. Seriously though, let people pay at their table. Not open Sundays...and need a website update as its still showing festivals from 2020. I'm already scheduling my next oil change appt in golden around their business hours so I can stop for lunch.

Hidden gem! Not so hidden anymore, as Grammy's Goodies was featured on the popular tv show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri! They are famous for their lasagna and bakery items. Everything about this place was magical and delicious! Family owned and operated, amazing holiday decorations, cookies and treats piled high on every surface, friendly and attentive staff, unique and beautiful goodies displayed in the cases, free garlic knots for first time customers! The pizza has a thick and soft crust, the garlic knots are huge, the homemade pasta is tender and flavorful, the Italian beef sandwich is loaded with meat and a delicious dipping sauce, the Italian potato salad is so fresh and full of herbs, the cannoli was crunchy but not too hard and didn't fall apart. Everything we tried was delicious! Very impressed! This is a new favorite spot for our family! The quality of the ingredients and their passion for cooking and baking is obvious! A truly wonderful family and business!

Note to self- some things look better than they actually taste. I've been eyeing their ginormous rice krispy treats at Oktoberfest for a couple years, and decided this year to make it a go. I was honestly disappointed; it tasted a bit stale and was really hard to bite into. Makes a drool-worthy photo, but in actual taste, not that great.

Celebrating my husband's birthday is always fun as we seem to be out of town every year. This year was no different as we were in Colorado. He had his mind set on trying out this place seen on DD&D's. You just never know what you will find and WOW did this place impress for good old comforting Italian food. Family owned and operated which I love and respect. This business was started back in 2005 as the family participated in the Festival Italiano at Belmar. Ten years later the family opened a restaurant and Colorado loves it! It is always a pleasure to see a business crowded when you arrive and this place was no different. When we walked in, we got in line to order. Once they realized we were dining in, they asked us to find a table and they would come to take our order. Interior is cafe style nothing fancy but the smells coming out of the kitchen will make your mouth water. A very pleasant Joey Lynn arrived and dialed us in on the goods. We had to try their famous lasagna, salad and their garlic knots. Did I say garlic knots?? These knots were the size of large muffins. Huge and every single bite was a taste of heaven. The lasagna was absolutely as savory and delicious as Guy F. said it was. This is a very old recipe from the owners Mother as most of the other recipes are hers as well. The lasagna was big enough for us to share and still have some left over for lunch. They offer so much more than lasagna. Sandwiches, pizza with their homemade dough, Italian sausage and peppers, chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo and the menu goes on and on. So many desirable treats are offered for dessert but believe me we were just too full. Parking is a very small lot so you will must likely be parking on the street. We will definitely be back for more of their flavorful food.

Truly authentic Italiano Homemade, sauces, pasta, marinata, cooked meats, the menu is endless, so are the goodies! The Alfredo sauce over my pasta was one of the best I have had, maybe better than NYC or Italy. There is a RICH history to this rather small yet accommodating restaurant in Wheat Ridge. Right down to the Red & White checkboard table covers. A small place with big flavors, with the entire family involved! Ready at the counter, "How can we help you today;" the sisters chime in; as the cooks and Grammy (second family Grammy Vickie) bussel in making every order fly from their kitchen. A bit of patience might be in order. I met Kylie & Joey. Their story started in 2008 from a food truck and then in 2015 expanded from the truck to the "Brick & Mortar current building, This was my first time, all first timers are given the Garlic Bread Rolls with marinara sauce - freshly made. AND! Your first meal will come with a complement of "6" Garlic Buns with Equally Outstanding Marinara sauce!!! NO Meat in the sauce. Plus, If you pay with cash, you get a cash discount. Be careful: the SWEET CENTER will grab your attention! As we sat, a constant stream of loyal customers came and went with more than 1 or 2 bags filled with the Sweet Goodies; and the choices are miraculously expanded on both sides of the isle where 3 tables sit. History is shown on every wall, from the pastries, to the original Grammy, I was able to slightly meet our Current Grammy and did get a photo - was not easy. Fresh specials are prepared each day! Check the black board right as you order, One cannot pass by the over abundant Tables of sweets, plus counters of sweets, the glass covered refrigerated sweets; this Italian restaurant ROCKS with customers in the main room, which appears to be a covered porch, we did mention "Brick & Mortar building. The two sisters and everyone in the kitchen through the office move with lightning speed, Yes there is a line, and when it is slow, these moments are spent serving, cleaning, checking on customers as more people flow in, and the entire moments repeat for the Authentic Italian cuisine. Aspen shared my freshly cooked Alfredo & she did a great job devouring that pasta, expertly. Curbside parking and lot, if your lucky there is a small 2 car parking area by the restaurant.

    Delicious homemade pastries, cheers!

Homegrown Italian eats, impressive portions! My partner and I checked this spot out for a post-work dinner and holy cow! I get why Guy Fieri stopped by. The portions are MASSIVE, I'm talking garlic knots the size of your head. Additionally, when we dined there they gave us the garlic knots for free because it was our first time, overall a generous business! The interior is more casual, but that's not the reason to go to this spot, the flavors are THERE. I'm also curious to see what their patio will be like when they're able to open it, as when we dined it was under construction. Another highlight of our experience was the pastries. My Sicilian partner drooled over the rainbow cookies and was very happy. We will definitely be returning!!

Mama Mia it was just like my Nonna's Casa, let me tell you people of Denver this is the place to go for Dolci appena sfornati, Grammy's offers a massive variety of baked goods as well as seasonal baked goods. Also serving incredible Italian entrees, sandwiches and regional dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and happy to have you in their home, and trust me it's like their home even though it's a business. Grammy herself is behind the counter while the balance of people working are her family. Such great people serving their favorite dishes. I was in Denver visiting family and earlier saw an episode of Triple D where Guy Fieri filmed an episode at Grammy's and that's all it took. Not far from my family's home we ventured out and it did not disappoint. The variety of baked goods and pastries was incredible, cookies and pastries from my childhood growing up in Chicago filled the interior of this fine establishment. And you have to walk around all of these marvelous baked items stacked like buildings on a city block to get to the counter to order your food and pay for you freshly baked choices. We decided to pick up a piece of Lasagna to take home for dinner later, but did pick up an Italian Beef sandwich to taste and the Fishermen's Basket to taste as well. The friendly staff also threw in an order of Garlic Knots on the house for us to try. God Bless them, I felt like I was in my Nonna's basement where she fed us incredible Italian meals and treats. The smells, the heat of the oven and the savory flavors of genuine Italian food prepared at home. It doesn't get any better than this people. After we had our beef sandwich and fisherman basket we had to go back to pay and walking past the case what do we see but fresh cannoli and pignoli cookies. C'mon! So we had to pick up a few for tonight after our take home lasagna to enjoy while watching Thursday Night Football. You will not find a more unique genuine operation like this in Denver, so don't wait get out there now and pick up some seasonal dolce for you holiday festivities as well as a bite and enjoy these people and their hard work. Bravissima Grammy, I will be back every time I come into Denver to visit my "big Italian Famiglia. Bon appetitto!

This is an amazing place for Italian cookies and pastries. I love the tri- colored chocolate topped almond flavored cookie. So much to try so little time. Lots of calories to be burned.

I usually don't go out for Italian because I can make it myself really good, so I was pleasantly surprised when giving this a shot yesterday! Homemade authentic and the coolest/nicest staff in town, I will definitely be back! Really dig the ordering style and cozy dining room to eat, been driving by for years always wondering and am now happy to say I got to experience it, if I could give higher than 5 stars I would!

Went back to try just the desserts and for $16 we got a ginanormous slice of cake that was ok, and two very small wedding cookies. Felt a little pricey given the location and quality.

Met a friend at Grammys for dinner after seeing them on DDD. She ordered the famous lasagna and I ordered the stuffed rigatoni, which is not on the menu. We both enjoyed our food! Also if it's your first time in, they give you garlic knots on the house and they are huge!! Definitely would come back to Grammys!

Service was incredible,…read morethey were patient and very knowledgeable about their products as I asked for recommendations. I ended up getting quiche for myself, pepperoni pizza for my wife as well as a plain croissant, chocolate pistachio croissant and maple cinnamon bun. The quiche was just okay in my opinion but everything else was stand out. My wife loved the pizza and the homemade ranch is AMAZING. The chocolate pistachio croissant was tasty, very flakey. The cinnamon bun was also very good but the frosting was a bit sweeter for my taste. A must visit if you're considering a solid bakery!

I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. Worth the wait, worth the hype, and absolutely worth a return trip.

We finally decided to check out the shopping and dining district. Rheinlander was our final (and best!) stop. The bakery dates back to 1963 and is now on the third generation of ownership. The quality is certainly being maintained at a high level. This is a traditional, German bakery with a huge variety of authentic European cakes, cupcakes, sweet and savory pastries, pies, cookies, coffee cakes, and the only reason I think a German bakery should exist--strudel! Strudels are available whole, half, or by the slice. The usual flavors are apple, cherry, blueberry cream cheese, cherry cream cheese, and Boston cream. We bought slices of the apple, cherry, and blueberry cream cheese. These were perfection and absolutely delightful. I was totally focused on the strudel case (yes, there's a lot of strudel on offer), but I believe there are eight huge cases of treats, each one looking more enticing than the next. Quite a few gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free options are available, so if that's what you need, this is the place for you. The bakery was moderately busy during our visit. There was plenty of staff and they were all friendly, helpful, and very efficient, so purchases moved swiftly. Lots of coffee and drink options are available. There's nice outside seating if you can't wait to take your goodies home. It's a long drive for us, but we were really impressed and we'll find a reason to visit Arvada so we can stop back soon.
