Spinach Pizza with a white garlic sauce

Absolutely Adore Tony P's Italian Restaurant, on Zuni, in Denver. Their food is true Family Created Italian Food.. We were seated inside, much cooler, but they have a patio with umbrellas. They brought us some Breadsticks with Italian Red sauce for dipping. Fabulous Flavor and the bread is homemade. Then we ordered some Bruschetta with cut up tomatoes and basil and Mozzarella for spreading on. And Italian Oil. Yummy. We then decided on the Bianca Spinach Pizza with tomatoes. This pizza has always been one of my favorite pizzas. Very Delicious. My friend had never been here and was so impressed with the food. For dessert we each got the Chocolate Candle, which is a Chocolate encasing dark and White Mousse. Extremely Fabulous tasting. They have quite a few delicious desserts, but the Chocolate Candle is my Favorite, Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all the food and the wines available. He always checked on us and made a few recommendations. Tony (the Owner) came over to see us and was very pleased with our comments. Wonderful ambiance and extremely inviting. Will Definitely be back. Tony P's has been around for many years and has Never Failed to Impress me and the friends I bring with me. (See photos below)

We stopped by with friends to grab a drink and bite and catch up. When I saw they had a specialty cocktail called Gina (my name) so of course I had to order it. It was nice but a bit too sweet for me. We ordered pizzas and the chicken meatball appetizer. They also brought us complimentary house garlic bread. The staff were friendly and helpful as we were trying to decide. Tony himself even stopped by our table. This a great little spot for a day date and wasn't too busy.

Favorite neighborhood spot! In the morning Tony P's is a cozy cafe with plenty of outdoor seating and turns into a busy Italian restaurant and bar in the evening. On Sundays they have all day $8 espresso martinis and aperol spritzers! - Best Espresso Martini I've had in Denver, made with rich espresso and not overly sweet. - The Aperol Spritz was light and refreshing, with lots of alternative Spritz options like Limoncello Spritz and Cherry Spritz. - The chocolate cake was disappointing. The buttercream frosting wasn't flavorful and the cake was nothing special. - The bacon breakfast sandwich is delicious, made with crispy bacon, fresh arugula and avocado on fresh house-made sourdough bread. Tony P's has friendly, quick service with amazing food and drinks. I haven't been for dinner but plan on going, the pizza looks amazing!

My friends and I came here because it's close by and in a cute neighborhood. It's now one of our new favorite places! Service is great and the owner and family are so kind. Pizza is so good, but there are lots of other options we need to try. Don't sleep on the happy hour! Also the outside area is cute on a nice day.

Not sure what the pizza is like, but killer cappuccino and a really cool retro Italian vibe. Feels like Florence!

half an avocado tossed on a tiny slice of bread
    Angiee C.

Charging $8 for what amounts to half an avocado tossed on a tiny slice of bread is laughable. This isn't avocado toast--it's an overpriced snack at best. Calling this a breakfast option is almost insulting. Save your money and go somewhere that actually serves real portions and respects their customers. *RESPONSE TO OWNER: Thanks for your reply, Tony. I understand costs are high for restaurants, but that doesn't change the customer experience. At the end of the day, $8 for half an avocado on a small slice of bread simply doesn't feel like value for money. Explaining wholesale costs and rent doesn't make the portion any bigger. Feedback is about how the customer feels, and my experience was that this dish was overpriced and underwhelming. Future guests reading both sides will decide for themselves.

    Cannoli and espresso

My partner and I were walking back to our car from having a late night dinner, and decided to stop here for a drink and dessert. It was such a nice night out in Denver (after getting out of winter), so we asked to sit outside. It took a bit for our server to come out, but once she did, everything was perfect! We ordered the cannoli, dolce de leche, an espresso shot, and a glass of cabernet. We pretty much licked our plates clean- sooooo delicious! You could tell everything was fresh and curated with detail. The espresso was straight out of Italy in its presentation. The wine wasn't anything to write home about, but I did order the by-the-glass pour. I enjoyed it. Best part, it was closing time and as we were leaving, they gave us a loaf of sourdough on the house. We were snacking on it on the way home- this is some of the BEST bread I've ever had! This gifted loaf is absolutely the reason we will be going back soon to see what other great options are on the menu. We can't wait!

Pretty darn good! Didn't have high expectations but they met everything and more from server to ambiance and the food was great. Bread service was outstanding. Had the local sausage and a pepperoni pizza. Just wish I saved room for a pastry. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Probably my 3rd time here this week. If you live in lohi you gotta come here! It's such a cozy spot and stays open for lunch and dinner or even late night drinks!

The three cozy pods were already occupied, but I was able to grab a seat at one of the two communal work tables, which gave me easy access to an outlet to charge my phone. They also offer free wifi. There were plenty of other seating options too, including lounge chairs and bar seating. They even have a billiards table! I ordered an iced London fog and opted for coconut milk, which is not typically available as a milk alternative. It came with vanilla syrup by default and was very good. I also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. This was the only disappointing part of my visit. It seemed like a premade sandwich that had been reheated, so the bacon was soft rather than crispy, which is my preference. Overall, Vibe Coffee & Wine is worth a quick stop, but it is especially nice as a place to relax, hang out, or settle in and do a little work.

There are towering ceilings and comfortable chairs. There are enough electrical outlets to power a small army of laptop philosophers who are pretending to write important books. It looks like a place where profound human connections ought to happen. Mine did not. The baristas handled my order as though enthusiasm had recently been made a felony by the federal government. They were not malicious. They simply performed the transactional ritual of caffeinating a stranger with the exact emotional investment of a parking meter. The beverage itself was perfectly adequate. Bad coffee inspires anger. This coffee merely inspired a quiet acceptance of my own mortality. It was average in that completely forgettable way that makes you wonder why you parted with currency for a specialty drink in the first place. If you need a nice chair to sit in while the world falls apart, you will find it here. If you are looking for a memorable cup or a warm human interaction, you will probably leave remembering the furniture.

We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.
