    Clucking Awesome Chicken Sandwich! Yum!
    Brian P.

The owners of Grams have done really well to take the American diner feel and kick it up a notch with fantastic brunch specials and dishes that add a modern flare like today's Cluckin Awesome Chicken Sandwich. The only thing it didn't include was the nap I needed afterwards. Joking aside you can find a classic dish but also their inspirational take on something new.

Brunch special for the weekend of 1/12

Will be moving over 8 hours away and Grams diner is one of the places I will miss most for brunch! I have loved coming here over the past five years. I always enjoy on Fridays seeing what their brunch specials would be for the weekend. Always good food and nice service. It can get busy and sometimes be a little bit of a wait but all the food is cooked to order, so it's worth it. Drink specials have always been on point as well!

We figured we'd try Grams one more time since initially (2+ years ago) our visits were always stellar. We even went out of our way to dine here several times. Sadly we went a few days ago & that review is available for viewing (along with the rude & snide response from the owner). Todays lunch take out was absolutely no different. Same situation, lack of customer service & bland tasteless food. I'm sure the owner will try to once again argue with a less than 5 star rating but rest assured we had 2 meals here recently & both were not stellar.

Came to try out this restaurant for myself, it's in a cute area, but very small dinner and extremely small menu. Food was decent though but I don't think I'd go back waited over 10 min to get our drinks & 40 min to get our pancakes and omelet. And the waitress should be more attentive to their tables with drink refills and such. (The strawberries didn't taste fresh unfortunately, and I do not eat pork and my eggs just smelled and tasted like meat) Im picky and just have high expectations for where I'm from and come from.

Gram's is amazing. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. They have a rotating brunch menu with seasonal options during the weekend. Gram's is a cool mix between having usual offerings as a diner and still getting creative with new ideas. $3 for a mimosa or Bloody Mary during brunch hours. Today I had the chicken fajita bowl and it was incredible - I especially enjoyed the Southwest sauce. Prices are fair. Can't wait for my next visit!

When I arrived no one was at reception so I decided to venture into the bar and grab an espresso martini. I then sat out on their side deck and the view was spectacular! I ordered the seafood pasta special which was delicious! It came with a side salad and I appreciated that it wasn't just a small plop of bagged iceberg lettuce from the grocery store. The rolls with butter were perfect with my dish. The carrot cake was absolutely amazing! Would love to know who made it. I only give 4 starts due to the fact that my server didn't seem to know much about the menu. I asked a couple of things and she wasn't able to give me much insight. If I'm spending $25-$30 on an entree I would like the servers to be aware of what it is etc. We will most definitely be back!

Six of us, with four orders of broiled haddock, one chicken parmesan, and one grilled chicken Caesar. The haddock was very disappointing. All arrived on cold plates, over-seasoned with paprika (and nothing else'), accompanied by a meager five or six overcooked thin slices of zucchini. It was obvious the vegetables were reheated, as they almost dissolved on the cold plate. The fish was barely warm, bland, and uninspired. The chicken Parmesan was very large, enough to serve three. The chicken Caesar was also lime-warm, also obviously reheated, warm and limp, not hot and seared as one would expect from a grilled chicken breast. It was chopped into shall pieces and tossed in the salad. Our friend did not eat it all, as they were turned off by the odd flavor and obvious "not grilled, reheated" presentation. Later that night, they were sick and continued to be ill into the next afternoon. This establishment needs a critical look at its head chef, freshness of ingredients, and presentation of service. I'm allowing one star for friendliness of our hostess.

The restaurant wasn't crowded, but there were enough guests to give it a nice atmosphere. It felt comfortable, relaxed, and not noisy at all. We started with the Kung Pao Cauliflower, which was excellent. Even my kids, who don't usually enjoy vegetables, ate every bite. For their meals, both kids ordered brick oven pizzas. My older child had the Labrador and finished the entire pizza by himself, while my younger child ordered the Authentic with pepperoni and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered the fish of the day, and I chose the scallop special. Overall, the food was very good, the service was pleasant, and the waterfront setting made for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

All of the staff we interacted with were great and friendly. Our family from this area raved about their poutine, but a recent menu change got rid of it. Despite that they had a variety of starters/apps, sandwiches, pizzas, steaks, plus other entrees including some specials on a separate little menu. Included on that was two cocktails that we tried, I had two of their Strawberry Rhubarb Collins that was light and easy to drink with just enough strawberry and rhubarb flavor. My wife had their special sangria which had tons of flavor. Both fantastic drinks! As a group we split some pretzel sticks as well as some bang bang shrimp. With both being great bites before our meals with the beer cheese and mustard for the pretzels along with the shrimp sweet chili aioli being perfect dips. Lastly for the main event my wife and I were on the same wavelength and got their Vodka Chicken Parm, that originally was to come on top rice pilaf but both substituted for house made pasta. Everything from the vodka sauce, to the house made pasta, to the chicken were fantastic! Would gladly get it again. If we lived around here I would picture this being a regular stop for us! Friendly and welcoming staff with well made drinks and delicious food! Give it a try!
