Granato's Italian sandwich was legendary, some say it started the whole trend in the valley years ago. The original location had sandwiches made with great bread with an awesome selection of desserts. It was a magical place for foodies. Sadly the latest reincarnation did not bring back the magic. While the Italian sandwich had the right meats and cheese, the ciabatta was dry and dense despite absorbing all the balsamic which made it flavorless. The ciabatta also had none of the crunch one would expect. Maybe the savior will be the muffaletta. The Granato's of old is gone, this is a new Granato's with new offerings.

We came for Acai bowls but my son was drawn to the sandwiches at Granato. He asked what the baci roll was in the kid sandwich description and none of the employees knew which was sorta funny. My son decided to get a Caesar salad instead. The salad was $12 which is kinda crazy but he did say it was really good. My daughter got the kids pizza and said it was so good too. So kinda pricey but a nice option of kid-friendly food in the food court!

Pasta was undercooked and sauce was flavorless. The other two options are great so a little confused on this one.

The first dish we tried and have craved since was the Speck and Dates. Holy cow, that is a delicious and delightful dish. I would say anything is probably fantastic on the menu from there out but I know for sure that the Bucatini Cacio and Tartufo is amazing. I love the texture and taste of their pasta. My husband loves tiramisu and theirs is delicious. I love the ice cream that comes in a lemon. Five stars highly recommend coming here. Service staff was amazing, food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely. Very romantic and cozy place to eat.

It was dark with a little bit of light making it very romantic if that's what you're looking for. We were a party of 10. I absolutely love the food! Just be aware that the portions aren't huge but not small. The only reason I am giving this a four star is the service. The waiter was very concerned about making sure everyone ordered more when we had already placed our order. The concerning part is when we need more water I did feel like I had an empty glass a few times. I wasn't sure if it was her or another gentleman that was helping us that was supposed to watch that. They also give complementary bread. We asked for extra bread as they said we could get as much as we want, but as we asked for more, the waite seemed annoyed. it was just a little disappointing, but she was always super excited to ask if we wanted a dessert or anything else.

They do and therefore is one of my favorite special occasion places when celebrating with family or friends with dietary considerations. We recently visited the Sugarhouse location to celebrate friends birthdays and more than half our group is GF and it is so nice to be able to visit someplace and feel everyone can enjoy the food care free. On top of that, this location is super cute and the staff at every location is always super friendly! The charcuterie is a great appetizer for a larger group. The rigatoni bolognese is my favorite (ask for extra ricotta) and the lasagna is some of the best I've had!

Nothing flashy, just a comfortable space that lets the food do the talking, and the food has plenty to say. We ordered the pistachio pesto campanelle, and it was outstanding. Rich pesto sauce, artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes coming together in a way that felt both rustic and deliberate. We also had the Caprese Bucatini, a spaghetti style pasta served with a small ball of fresh mozzarella in the center surrounded by marinara. Do not skip the garlic focaccia either. It is grilled, which adds a smoky depth you do not expect from a bread course. It was exceptional. The tiramisu trifle was the one miss for us. It needed more moisture to really land. Skip it and spend that room on more pasta. A note on the experience: there was one server covering the entire floor and what appeared to be one person in the kitchen. The restaurant was not busy, but we still waited longer than the situation seemed to call for. It did not ruin the meal, but it is worth knowing. The bathroom also needed attention. We spent $85 for two with non-alcoholic drinks, which felt fair for the quality and the neighborhood. They apparently do brunch, and I am already planning a return visit for that. This place deserves more attention than it seems to be getting.

The location, grounds, and interior are still gorgeous and make a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the venue. It took nearly 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order. I ordered coffee and was brought an Americano instead, without anyone asking whether that substitution was okay. After that, no one checked on us, offered refills, or cleared anything from the table. What made the service even harder to understand was that the restaurant was not busy. In fact, it was surprisingly empty for a Father's Day brunch. I initially found that a little unexpected, but after our experience, I am not entirely shocked. I also noticed that two nearby tables seemed to be receiving the same lack of attention, so this did not appear to be an isolated issue. At the end of the meal, we had to hunt someone down just to get our check, which felt like a fitting finale to the experience. I worked as a server for 20 years, so I understand how demanding restaurant work can be, especially during a holiday brunch. I am usually very patient and sympathetic when a restaurant is overwhelmed. However, this did not feel like an overwhelmed staff. It felt like a general lack of urgency, attentiveness, and engagement throughout the room. I cannot remember the last time I saw so many employees appear so disconnected from the guests they were serving. I didn't have an issue with the $90 price. For a special brunch, that feels reasonable when the food and service match the cost. They did have prime rib and shrimp cocktail, which helped justify the price, but most of the other brunch items were cold despite sitting in warming trays. The most surprising part was seeing suggested gratuities starting at 20%, which worked out to roughly $40 to $60. That felt ambitious considering drinks were barely delivered, no one checked on us, plates were not cleared, and we had to track someone down to pay. The receipt was easily the most attentive part of the service. It is disappointing to see such a beautiful restaurant fall this far short. Tuscany has an incredible atmosphere, but scenery alone cannot carry a $90 brunch. Sadly, we will not be returning.
