Fun and delicious takeout on my way home this evening! Haven't been to Chick-fil-A in ages!! I nostalgically remember getting waffle fries with my mom in Fashion Place Mall when I was a kid! Tonight I wanted some of my favorites and also some new things too! Got the kids meal with grilled nuggets, Mac and cheese and an apple juice (cause I could save it for later). Since I didn't want a toy, I got a cup of their soft serve! I also got the kale salad and of course waffle fries!! The grilled nuggets were a perfect little portion! Mac and cheese was delicious! Hadn't tried it before, but heard it was good! Definitely was! I would go back just for Mac and cheese!! Kale salad was nice and crisp! Waffle fries were delightfully nostalgic!! This location is in Sugar House, which is infamous for being in a near-constant state of construction. This location is no different. There is a one-way entrance to get into the parking lot and a one-way exit. When I went (around 3:30 p.m. on a Thursday) the drive-thru line was basically backed up right onto the road. I thought the drive-thru would be a faster option, but I parked, walked inside, and ordered. It felt a lot quicker than sitting in the line. But then, even if you don't get stuck in the drive-thru line, you'll be fighting people coming from three different directions to get out onto the street (which is also backed up). Service was quick. Food was what you expect. Restaurant was quiet and empty inside. However, I removed stars because the drive-thru and parking lot really take the "fast" out of this fast food experience. read more

As someone who was born and raised in the South, I've been to many Chik-fil-A's. This one has been one of my least favorite and falls far from what Chik-fil-A is really about, which is great service and fast service (along with good food). Not only is the parking and drive-through situation mayhem at this location, but there's constantly a long line of people waiting for their pick-up orders, and they definitely do not say "my pleasure" (which is a mandatory thing in any Chik-fil-A in replacement of 'you're welcome') which leads me to believe they were not trained properly. We had the worst Cool Wrap we have ever had, and it tasted like pure cardboard with a few specks of chicken. Drenching it in the Avocado Ranch Dressing surely did not even help. Overall, I'd come back here out of convenience, but I would not drive across town for this. Also note, there is extreme road construction and congestion in this area... seemingly at all hours. read more

They really need to change the oil in their fryer. Every time i've gone recently, my fries are really orange and have a weird crust on them. Honestly love this place! We actually walked in and it had a huge line! We decided to order on the app and it saved us a good amount of time. They always give you what you ask for and the sauces are great! Would recommend coming but beware of the huge lines and traffic getting in there. read more

A pretty standard Chick-fil-A. I've never attempted to come here when it's busy because it gets insane but when I have been here it's been pretty routine. One time they were training someone who forgot to ask me to pay so they gave me my food for free, intentionally. Which I appreciated. I normally avoid this CFA location at all cost, because of the small parking lot and super inconvenient drive through area which often pours out into street traffic. It is chaotic and stressful. But... today called for desperate measures- The Chicken Sandwich was a must. We luckily found parking, and ordered using the mobile app which sped up the process. I have eaten here many times! Mostly I use the drive through. Chick Fil A always has people outside helping the drive through go quicker. They always confirm your, I don't think I have ever had them make a mistake! I typically order the chicken sandwich deluxe and the kids chicken nuggets for my kids. Their waffle fries are quite good. Also, their homemade lemonade is super tasty. The service is always great and they really do seem to try to do a good job. My only complaint is the parking situation. There are not a lot of spots. In addition it is extremely difficult to turn into the parking lot if you are going west and trying to make a left turn. This place is awful! I eat chick fil a 2-3 times a week here and it's falling apart. Today I ordered 2 medium fries and a large sandwich meal. When I Received my meal I proceeded to do what I do every time, on the way home I eat my fries, it's what I do. and that's I discovered that the two medium fries were not only cold but only had the left over crumbs from someone else's meal. Normally I love Chick-Fil-A but for the first time I was a little disappointed. I got a Cobb salad tonight, which could have been great, but it was missing the egg. You might be thinking "it's just an egg, no big deal". Well it's a salad and salads don't always have a lot to keep you feeling satiated. Eggs are one of the most satiating foods you can find and ... I was really looking forward to that egg, that and the chicken tenders were the reason I chose that specific salad. Naturally I marched up to the counter and politely asked for an egg. It turned out that they didn't have any due to a recall. I was disappointed in the service because they charged full price and didn't mention when I bought the salad that they were out of eggs and that they offered nothing extra for my salad for the missing egg.
