One of the best pulled pork pizza's I've had. A perfectly thin and crunch crust with the proper amount of sauce. Highly recommended.

The modern, chic decor sets a wonderful ambiance, and the service was immediate and welcoming. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We started with fresh, warm bread, followed by a flavorful seafood gumbo loaded with meat, and a generous portion of two lightly breaded crab cakes. For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. We noticed they have a pizza oven and plan to add pizza to the menu soon; we already can't wait for our next visit to try it out! Ps parking wise, the restaurant is just off a residential neighborhood and parking is free. No need to pay for any parking, just remember to read signs.

There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Blackened Lamb Chops (weekly special). 7. New Orleans Fisherman's Plate ($39.95). 8. Pecan Pie warmed with Ice Cream ($14.95). 9. Bananas Foster ($14.95). 10. Beignet ($14.95). Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

This restaurant is unique for its serving style - if you order individual seafood, you eat with your hands from plastic bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were able to keep ourselves relatively clean. We ordered a pound of mussels with garlic sauce, crawfish with lemon pepper sauce, and a fish teriyaki dish with seafood assortment. I loved the garlic sauce, as it gave the mussels a great kick. I wouldn't recommend the crawfish, as they don't have much meat. I felt like I was just nibbling the shells for the sauce. However, the fish teriyaki was a solid choice. Overall, it was a filling and tasty meal, and it came out to less than $20 per person. With so few customers in the restaurant, service was relatively prompt, but I would recommend more frequent water refills, as the sauces were quite salty. We had to personally wave over the waitress in order to get water. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Captain's Boil if you enjoy seafood like I do. Glad they opened up in London!

The restaurant called me shortly after placing the order to tell me they were out of wings, which we replaced for something else. Then they called an hour and a half later to tell me they were out of the mac and cheese, but that was a pretty big one for us, we were REALLY excited for the mac and cheese and my boyfriend and I were raving about it to his parents :( Then finally when the order arrived, a lot of the things came in these tiny little cups, so much smaller than what we were anticipating. When our friends placed the order, it was massive portions in pie tins which is what we were expecting, so for what we paid vs. the portions we received, we were pretty disappointed. I can accept that I wrongfully assumed I ordered the same thing my friends ordered, clearly they did something different, but it would have been nice if the website had more specifications so that this could have been better prevented. And it also would have been great if we were told about the mac and cheese being sold out earlier because at that point it was way too late for us to decide to order somewhere else that actually would have had our order in stock.

To dine here is to abandon pretension at the door and embrace the primal pleasure of cracking, pulling, and diving headlong into a generously heaped platter of shellfish. The portions are commendable; there is no sense of restraint here, and the kitchen makes no apologies for it. The service, too, deserves particular note -- attentive, personable, and clearly well-versed in the menu, with staff offering recommendations that feel genuine rather than rehearsed. The atmosphere strikes an enjoyable balance between lively and welcoming, accommodating everyone from boisterous groups to families with young children with equal ease. Where Crab Boil has room to grow is in the depth and complexity of its seasoning. The foundations are sound, but the spice blends -- while pleasant -- do not yet achieve the kind of resonant, layered intensity that elevates a seafood boil from enjoyable to truly memorable. One leaves content, yet with a quiet sense that the kitchen's full potential remains just slightly untapped. A spirited and generous table -- one that rewards those who come hungry, sleeves rolled, and ready to revel.

The server confirmed we had been given some of the old menus, which contained more choices. So some of us had to choose our meals again from the more limited menu. The food came faster, three of us ordered salads as our entree, and they forgot dressing for two and the meat on one. Throughout the night, we had four different people refilling our drinks, which led to a lot of confusion as we were brought the wrong drinks or multiples of the same ones. The team could definitely work on their communication. The sweet potato fries were good, but everything else was meh. Definitely not worth the price point.
