We visited the Grand Café in February 2023 and had their seafood boil and prime rib dinner for 2 on Valentine's Day weekend. The service was very good. Natalia was our server for the evening and did a great job taking care of us. I believe her manager did his rounds as well and popped in to say hello. The food was nice although I have a few suggestions. *The prime rib was delicious but was served at room temp. It could've been better if it were served hot. *I would've liked to have more horseradish. *The dinner rolls were unfortunately hard and stale. They recently did an interior refresh but the bones of the building are showing their age. Overall, we had a decent meal and if you're in the area looking to step up your dinner game the Grand Café is a good choice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Grand Cafe. Food was excellent, service was exceptional, and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed the first day of our stay at the Grand Geneva with a perfect brunch experience. The food was absolutely amazing and so fresh. You must try the Avocado Toast, French Toast, and Nutella Pancakes!! SO SO GOOD!!! We ate here on a weekday so didn't get to explore their buffet menu which is available on weekends. Next time definitely trying that. WILL BE BACK!

My wife and I came here during our weekend getaway in Lake Geneva. We chose a Saturday night dinner buffet for $45 per person. The buffet has a decent amount of food selection including hand cut prime ribs, pork chops, salmon in a cream sauce, several hit side dishes, a variety of cheeses and fruits, small salad bar, shrimp cocktail, 5-6 types of mini deserts, etc. If the price was $30, I would give 5 starts, but the quality is not there for the $45 buffet. However, I say prime ribs, some desert items and cheese were really good. Unfortunately the quality is not consistent throughout different options. Lastly, the atmosphere was really elegant and looked like a luxury hotel restaurant.

Burnt eggs or raw? Which way do you like them?

Not the greatest....I ordered eggs over medium. First they were burnt to a crisp, then the replacements were raw. Isn't Breakfast 101 knowing how to cook eggs? Potatoes were thrown in the fryer. Bacon was thrown in the fryer. Ugh. Then the server never did clear the plates from our little table. We sat there with them covering the surface where wasn't even room to set my phone and sunglasses the whole time. I didn't think they were that busy(?)

We had the fish fry. It was pretty good. I like the perch and cod. The Cole slaw was very good with. Good tartar sauce.

Mediocre food. Music was a little loud. And the waitress was not allowed to turn it down.

He researched for awhile and finally came upon this place thinking I would like it. We had 5 p.m. reservations on 12/1/24. This restaurant is inside The Geneva Inn hotel. It was beautifully decorated outside for Christmas. Walk inside and I just loved the intimate setting. We were one of the first to be seated and they placed us by the window. There was a card for me on the table wishing me a Happy Birthday which made me feel special. The sun was setting so we quickly got a chance to see the beauty by the lake before it got dark. Bridget was our waitress and I just loved her. She was attentive, funny and a wonderful server. It was nice and quiet setting inside the dimly lit restaurant. They brought warm rolls to the table - delicious! I ordered some soup of the day because it was so cold outside. I then had the steak served Oscar style which consists of crab meat, and a rich béarnaise sauce (which I had them put on the side). They gave so much crab meat which paired lovely with the steak. Simply delicious! Hubby had the Shrimp & Mediterranean Panzanella which he enjoyed. Highly recommend this restaurant. We definitely want to come back when the weather is warm to watch the sun set and possibly do the outdoor seating. We really enjoyed ourselves here and thank the restaurant for such a wonderful dining experience. Two thumbs up and an A+ rating!

The food was so yummy I got the snow crab legs and my fiancé got a burger which was cooked amazingly. Boats pulled up to the dock and people joined in the fun from there too. We happened to come in during the Bash on the Bayou event which indicated a seafood boil and live music. Unfortunately, we could not find any indication of the time of the event so when we arrived at 6:30 and asked, they indicated it ended at 7pm so we could not partake. The price for that was $45 per person, fyi. So we ordered from the menu. The Italian Porkchops were dry (overcooked) and not the most enjoyable flavor. The Walleye was a bit dry but good enough and the mashed potatoes were good. The "caprese salad" was just meh. The drink (the Pink Pig Punch) was good albeit a little sweet. In fact, if you don't normally like whisky, this might actually work for you. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with how busy it was. There were a few inebriated folks that nearly fell down the stair or spilled drinks if that gives any indication of the 'fun' being had ;) There is indoor and outdoor seating and the place has a fun vibe. But the food was mediocre, especially for the prices. Go for the fun and drinks but maybe skip the pricey meals.
