Wow. We tried Grand Donuts because we read that they were open on Christmas Day. We stopped by and bought a dozen donuts and donut holes on the way to a family member's house. Service was wonderful and quick. We intend to return, as we saw that the person ahead of us got some great looking breakfast items and we noticed some appetizing kolaches in the display case. Awesome kolaches, donuts and omg the apple fritters and all of that was only $10 which I think is super reasonable. I did not take a picture of the apple fritter as I devoured it but each bit was crunchy and soft texture I am obsessed. It's nice and clean with great drink options. Something about appointments and kolaches just make sense for my kids. This spot isn't too far from our dentist and we made a quick stop yesterday. The place is clean and has everything we needed! It's a good kolache if my oldest eats the entire bread AND sausage. She downed it so fast, I never had to ask if she was done. I grabbed a crossant, a breakfast taco and a chocolate croissant. It's time I give this place a review. As far as donut shops where donuts are $1.29 each are concerned, this place is exactly what I remember them to be. It's definitely not a bougie $5-7 donut joint that serves flat whites and dopio espressos but it's a reliable good donut shop on par with Shipley's. The donuts aren't too greasy/oily and I'd say they're decently made. They also carry kolaches, breakfast tacos, cold beverages, and hot coffee. So what am I saying? Come here for a decent donut. It's not going to wow you but I know it'll remind you of every donut you've ever had growing up for $1.29. Pro tip: There's a jiffy lube nearby and while waiting, the 5 minute walk got me to buy 2 donuts. Feel free to do the same. read more

Finally got around to trying this new donut shop in North Round Rock and it did not disappoint. Here is what I loved about this place and why I'll be back for sure. I'm not huge on sweets, but every once in awhile a good donut hits the spot. Normally however I am more of a meat and potatoes breakfast person rather than the empty calories of a donut. Well fear not because this shop has it all. They have kolaches, boudin kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, and of course donuts, cinnamon rolls and other sweets. I love the variety of options to satisfy every breakfast craving. I got the Boudin spicy kolache and it hit the spot. My kids got regular kolaches and donut holes and both said they were very good as well. I did not try the coffee or breakfast tacos, but I will be sure to do so on my next trip. The prices seemed very reasonable. There is a good selection of donut options as well with all the normal choices you would see in a donut shop. I did not see a french crueller which would have probably moved this review into the 5 star category, but those seem hard to find these days so maybe I'm the only 1 yearning for 1. We live right behind this location and been waiting for its opening. We missed the grand opening. Location is easy to get to from the West end of Teravista. Very nice lady greeted me when I walked in. They serve donuts, kolaches, and breakfast tacos. Got me a chocolate icing donuts with some donut holes. They offer a variety of delicious pastries from donuts, kolaches, breakfast tacos and more. We had the glazed donuts which are delicious and grandkid approved, the regular and jumbo sausage n cheese kolaches which were delicious (I recommend the jumbo, less bread more meat) and you can get them with or without jalapeños, and the boudin kolache which was Slap Yo Momma Good. In the boudin they offer regular and spicy, of course I choose the spicy. They offer coffee and you can dress it up with a variety of flavored syrups. They also offer a variety of drinks as well. The food is delicious! It's a quick stop to grab a variety of breakfast food. Everything I've tried has been amazing so it's hard to choose a favorite. Their bacon potato egg and cheese tacos have so much flavor. Their ham and cheese croissants are delicious and flakey. Their kolaches are fluffy. Been spending quite a lot of time in the hospital since my mom has been in. I stopped in here and got a kolache for breakfast and bought 5 dozen donut holes for the nurses station. Today I did the same thing but stopped somewhere else. When I got to the hospital the nurses station was abuzz with excitement at the donut holes.
