Nestled in a Valero, the chef owner greets folks by name, while his adorable mom welcomes each guest. Pictures of his kids are on the fridge, and descriptions of the menus are pasted on the counter - seemingly created by little hands. This guy cares about his food. This time - I ordered a simple bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. The bacon is perfectly crisp, and generously heaped on top of two fresh eggs you watch him cook in front of you on the grill. I love watching my food get prepared. Cooking for someone is an act of love - and I tasted it in every bite. Keep doing what you do! Your hard work is appreciated.
