There wasn't a rush of customers, but the employee was direct and was moving us along. It's in a small strip center on a road, so parking is easy right in front. If certain flavors were unavailable, I would have appreciated a notification so I could select alternatives. It appeared Shipley's tried to compensate by including extra original glazed doughnuts; however, I still should have been informed of these changes so I could choose the substitutes I wanted, and the Shipley's menu on DoorDash may need an update. Given this experience, I am concerned regarding the long-term viability of this location. The market is full of doughnut businesses that offer superior-quality products. As a result of this experience, I will not be placing future orders from Shipley's, particularly from this location in Leander on Brook Drive.

As for my take on the Donuts or Doughnuts, these are definitely doughnuts to me because the dough was very light and fluffy with a very subtle sweet glaze. Just like most doughnuts, you have to eat it fresh or they lose their softness, fluffiness and sweetness. Day old doughnuts just do not taste the same, and Round Rock Donuts also do-nut hold their freshness the next day. I argue that Krispy Kreme are the only donuts I have ever had that are still soft the day after. I'm sure there are those who will disagree with me. Since we got it fresh, I'll rate the glazed donut a 7/10. If given a box of fresh round rock donuts, I will not say no thank you, but Thank you very much.

You can ask for the donut to not have the drizzled icing on top too because I find it just a little too sweet for my taste when the icing is on top. These are only seasonal and offered during summertime, which is the only negative thing I can say about it. Wish they were a new daily menu item.
