We had a great experience at Grand Hacienda! We started with the tableside guacamole, which was fresh, flavorful, and fun to watch being made right at our table. The chicken quesadilla was delicious and generously portioned, and the drinks were excellent as well. A special thank you to our server, Jhovana. Looking for a quick meal and this place came with a friends recommendation. We were greeted and seated right away. Plenty of seating inside the main dining room and the bar. Served with warm complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the ceviche Cancun and the Jim's burrito. Both were delicious and big portions. These plates came in lightning speed and our server Jhovan was the best. Recommended some traditional meals as well as specials. I am mixed about this place. I would say first off that our server was not very attentive at all- we had to ask her to clear the table before bringing desert, for utensils etc - things that should be a given. A pro is that they give you a basket of chips and salsa for free- however no refills (which is no problem). We ordered the mixed fajitas, carne asada, and flan. They asked how we wanted the steak cooked and then made it well done anyway It was seasoned well- fajitas were seasoned well and good as well. The flan was not good. The place is decorated nicely and clean. Overall it was a "fine" experience but there are so many options for Mexican food that we wouldn't come back. read more

As a vegan, this place is verry hard to find vegan options, you have to ask for adjustments to be made, but I would say it's very good if you have no restrictions on all the meat and dairy you desire. People I were with were very satisfied with their meal. I liked my drink, the Frida, but I would want to try something else if I found myself here again. This was our first visit to this location. We've always loved the St. Pete location and we love this one, too. It's located in the Feather Sound strip center next to the gas station. It's very unassuming from the outside but it's upscaled inside. For starters, we ordered the White Queso. This is a 'must have' item. For entrees, we opted for the Mexico City Enchiladas Suizas (enchiladas stuffed with shredded chicken with a spicy tomatillo sauce). We also ordered the Hacienda Platter (A cheese chile relleno, a chicken enchilada with poblano sauce, a tamal with salsa roja and a beef empanada). Both dishes came with really good Spanish Rice and you can choose your style of beans. We both got the refried beans. Both dishes were excellent! The most noteable item was the chile relleno. We would order both of these dishes again. The service was a little slow but friendly. Surprisingly, we were the only table for their lunch hour. To be fair, it's a bit pricey for lunch. read more

A pretty good spot for Mexican eats in the Clearwater area. Came into town to help with an event and we ate here before heading over to Cowboys Dance Hall for a good time. The space itself was clean and had a good amount of seating. The service was friendly and attentive; our orders were taken swiftly and the food came out pretty fast. The menu was extensive but I ended up getting the brisket tacos. It comes with 3 corn tortilla tacos with the shredded brisket, chihuahua cheese, grilled poblano pepper and onion and served with rice and an avo salad. This dish was pretty good and fairly big in portion. Overall, a good experience and a solid spot for Mexican in the area! read more

What a treat! I haven't had a huarrache in about 10 years and it really hit the spot. A huarrache is an oval shaped tortilla (a little thick) stuffed with beans and cheese, topped with steak, lettuce, and tomatoes. Also came with a side of rice. It was a good portion and I ate it up! This is probably one of my new favorite Mexican restaurants. I'd never been into Grand Hacienda before, even though it's down the street from me. But I was very pleasantly surprised! The vibe is very laid back and the decor is a nice combination of cute and colorful. For dinner I got the Flautas and my boyfriend got the Birria. Both were super tasty, and I especially liked the Birria because of how hearty it was. I didn't order the house margarita but I tried my boyfriend's and it tasted perfect. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating and the host even checked on us too. My one gripe is that some items are priced a little higher than I'd like, but considering how tasty it all is I'd say it's worth it. I can't wait to stop in here again soon! read more

With Mexican food being my favorite cuisine, this place was so nostalgic of my upbringing in Chicago. The atmosphere resembled a classic franchise, Pepe's, back home and it was a great ambiance. The staff was very nice and service was solid despite a happy hour rush. I ordered the carnitas entree and it was out of this world! The portion was incredible as well - I was able to take most of it home and have it as another meal the next day. I almost forgot to mention the 2-6 pm BOGO happy hour special they have! Absolutely Incredible Experience! Grand Hacienda was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. But what really made the visit stand out was our waitress, Jovana. She was hands down one of the best servers I've ever had. She was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and that kind of service makes such a difference. Jovana deserves serious recognition for the way she treated us. She made an already great restaurant experience exceptional. I will absolutely be coming back to Grand Hacienda, and I hope I get Jovana again. Service was okay, food and drinks were good! My friends were craving Mexican ahead of our night out so we started here. The complimentary chips and salsa was perfect - crispy chips, tasty salsa! We also loved the queso. 3 of my friends got margaritas and enjoyed them because they weren't too sweet. Note that the jumbo is, in fact, JUMBO!!! I got the 3 street tacos: one chicken, one steak, one pork. The carnitas was my favorite, chicken right behind and steak last because I thought it was the dryest. I enjoyed my tacos a lot! Nothing crazy special, just solid tacos. I also really liked the rice they came with. My one friend loved her chimichanga and another thought her birria tacos were good but wasn't crazy about the consomme. Our server was super nice and funny. The person that answered the phone this evening on May 18, 2026 refused to provide her name so that we knew who we were talking to, and had an attitude did not want to answer questions and was unprofessional. She finally said that her name was "Juanita." previously I've had nothing but excellent experiences as a person that eats dinner at this restaurant fairly often. I live in California but routinely go to Florida for work. Didn't think I could get top notch Mexican food here. Food? 5 out of 5. SERVICE ? 2 stars maybe 3. I've been here 3 times and it's always the guys that don't bring you utensils until halfway through the meal. Literally I've been given my appetizer and meal and there's no knife and fork or even napkins. TRAIN your greeters better because it's annoying that your food is so good but your men working here don't know basic servers etiquette. Completely screwed up to go order when I hosted a customer on site. Chicken tacos were dryer than the Sahara. EXTREMELY SMALL portions for two tacos at what they charge. We got refried beans instead of requested black beans. Great Mexican food at this new location of a local chain, in Feather Sound. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean and brightly colored. It's a large room, plenty of tables and booths. We were seated quickly on a Weds evening when the restaurant was about 1/3 full. It's an extensive menu of traditional Mexican fare. Each of the items we tried was fresh and flavorful. Portions are enormous, as is also the tradition. I tried hangar steak, served on a bed of sauteed onions, a few bulbs of cambray onions and a nopale. The cambray onions are like giant bulbed scallions - very mild and delicious. Nopale (aka prickly pear) was boiled till soft, tasted something like green beans. It's not something I've ever had before but was really good. That steak, though.... grilled medium rare, seasoned perfectly. Yaaaas! Service is a little choppy - some entrees served and then we waited a while for the rest. The kitchen is flexible and accommodated a special order for a little one, bringing that out first.
