What a great restaurant!! I love when new restaurants are a hit to me and the community! It took me longer than anticipated to go, but I was not disappointed! I was lucky enough to go during happy hour on accident. They had a great selection of happy hour drinks, but I went with a classic dirty martini and it was great! I also had the hot chicken sandwich and I would highly recommend! My friend had the Philly cheesesteak and it left a little to be desired but it wasn't bad. I love a sandwich full of flavor or something and it lacked a little. However, our server Savannah made up for it by being super attentive and kind! Went this afternoon early, just to get out of the house as much as get something to eat. We decided to try 'the new kid in town' , Tavern in the Bluffs. We got the egg roll appetizer, pretty good, plenty for the two of us. Horseradish sauce as well as aju for dipping if you like that. Tasty, not too salty as some aju tend to be. I got the turkey sandwich ( big enough to share and stuffed with the fresh veggies and avocado). David got the bacon burger and he had to bring half of his home too! Needless to say, they don't scrimp on their portions. Overall, good food and fair prices. I was a little disappointed in their drinks. I got the cucumber gimlet, all I tasted was the cucumber. Tried the bananas foster bourbon hiball, nope, just tasted chemical. Waitstaff was efficient and cordial, and though there was a crowd, we got out food in a timely manner, hot and fresh. read more

Great place for great food and service- a tv in every way drink great for a game/diets event- I didn't get desert or drinks but all the ones I saw going by looked amazing. The staff is super friendly our server Makyah was great she was friendly and had spot on recommendations. So it has not been open for a week and it's closing in on 200 reviews on Google. Some of the reviewers only had 2-3 reviews to boot. Hmmmm... so I had to come see for myself as I found out they did a friends and family event last weekend so some reviews are not from a usual experience. With that being said, I swung in for a cocktail as I already had dinner that night. For a Wednesday night around 6pm, it was pretty full especially the bar area. First of all, the host and wait staff were all friendly. The server, "PM R" - from the receipt, was truly welcoming and friendly. She was great! I tried their Cucumber Gimlet which was refreshing but a tad too much simple syrup in there as it was a little overwhelming. So I switched gears and did their Super Tuscan. That was the better call which I should've done from the start as it was a great pour at a fair cost. Heads up there is a Credit Card Surcharge of 3% which was not mentioned when I cashed out. I would come back here as it's a nicer bar alternative than Seaweed and will try their food next time. There is plenty of parking available. read more

Definitely will be a place we will regular now that it is open and right around the corner from our house. Lovedddd the food and the atmosphere. I will say I didn't like the owners sitting in the corner sitting behind us seemed rude to their employees. Shame to see and hear how they treat some of their employees. May want to have your meetings somewhere else or in the back so guests don't hear how unprofessional they were. I'm very impressed with Tavern in the Bluffs. I had the half rack of ribs. They were delicious, fall off the bone. My husband had the fish and chips, and he loved it! This is a great place to meet friends watch some sports and hang out. If you're looking for a quiet dinner restaurant, this is not it however, I'll be coming here for all the Ohio State football games! read more

Food ok, nothing special, I have no reason to return. Wings was run of the mill. Building is nice, hard walls and a little noisy.

The service was very good but the food was overcooked. The nachos had chips so crispy you could not chew them. The main course was ok but nothing special to warrant the prices. I have been to loud restaurants before but nothing like this establishment - the noise level was so loud the waitress had to lean into the table to hear our order and forget about talking to our friends across the table. Compared to this place, Texas Roadhouse is a tranquil dining experience. read more

Very very loud music with the tall ceilings making it worse. I asked for extra dressing for my salad because the serving was so small for an entree salad. When I was about finished with my salad making do with the dressing they gave me the server noticed and apologized then bought more but by then I was done. Looking over the bill I found it hard to believe that I was charged 75cents for the extra dressing that came late and I did not use. What quality restaurant charges for extra dressing? Even so I should not have been charged because he forgot to bring it . It really was not about the 75cents but it felt like something a fast food place might have as an add on. Also note that they charge a 3% credit card fee that I did not recall seeing on the menu. Truly hoping they can make changes as we were looking forward to a nice restaurant opening on our area. I hate it when extra sneaky charges pop on on the bill and make you feel like you have been had. read more

funny they call it a sports bar. have they every even watched sports? maybe 30 years ago. in the ''sports bar area'' they have 4 jerseys hanging on the wall nicely frame. a tom brady .. very nice and they shoud have stopped there ... a jersey with 80 on it .. and the word miracle... i guarantee you less than 5% of the people in the place knows what that is and it happened 46 years ago .. then you have tim tebow popular till 2009 ... 17 years ago ... and finally mike alscott that last played 20 years ago .. i have never seen a sports bar that didnt have tebow, alscott and derrick brooks and im sure if i looked around long enough i would have found that as well... i was kinda like walking into a 2006 sports bar Then the lights... have you ever been to a rays game where its darker inside then most high schools fields at night .. well lets just say the lights are brighter in the tavern than they are at tropicana field. LOUDDDDD ..... i wont say it was loud but someone asked me what do i i think and my reply was .sorry i cant even hear myself think... the ceiling is probbaly 18 feet tall .. plenty of room to hang a gator, seminoles, rays, bolts and bucs flag to dampen the sound. but they dont have anything hanging ... plenty of TVs .. must be 20 in the restaurant area.... 3 of 20 were on the rays game . the rest on soccer, womens basketball, and other no sporting programs. obviously a first attempt at a sports bar. when we went in about 7pm they said sorry all we have are tall tops ... 1/2 the restaurant has tall tops ? what ? you server a $65 steak and want people to eat it on a tall top? i dont think so. the food was Ok ... nothing special. fries were good... hot but greasey ... fish was ok .. chicken was a bit overdone and the mashed sweet potatoes were room temperture... bread pudding tasted more like french toast? the pecan topping had a lime aftertaste so i'd skip that ... the one person we were with described it as LARGO FOOD AT BELLEAIR PRICES... we all nodded our head in aggrement ..thats the third restaurant to open this yes within 300 yards of there and they all suck ... 851 days to open .. that should tell you something right there.
