I don't give 5 stars often but this is a staple of the area. Absolutely delicious every time, amazing service, always clean, plenty of parking, and the early bird is soo worth it but make a reservation if possible. I came in party of 3 no reservations and they accommodated us telling me that we had until a certain time ( 1hour 30 mins) that's about how long we usually take so we said yes. Of course we came for the early bird special and got x2 short ribs and steak. Worth it in every way! The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful and soft. The Mac and cheese tasted like truffle and was gooey. We prefer a bit but it was delicious regardless. The short rib is so soft and flavorful. We ordered a Caesar salad with it which is also very good for being a simple dish. If I haven't drawn you in by now, you will be missing out. One of the best in the bay for sure read more

Food: 2 of us ordered 2 different fish dinners; both were very good. 2 of us ordered the same Delmonico entree dinners and the quality of the beef was quite poor; and, I don't believe that mine was 14 ounces (no way). Both steaks were rare even though one was ordered medium rare. Both steaks were tough and contained way more "gristle" than a quality Delmonico ribeye should contain. We both had to saw on those steaks like carpenters! Service: No steak knives provided - we had to request them. Slow on beverage refills. Ambiance: Nice booth; beautiful interior. Kids and babies in attendance at other tables; but I am very OK with that - I love kids and babies! I have eaten here before and was served steaks that were of incredible Prime quality. This was my second time dining at E&E. Our meals were from their early menu and were very good. We enjoyed the trout with a lemon-lime beurre blanc sauce, rice, and green beans; pork chops with mashed potatoes, and a chicken, bacon pasta meal. The early menu also comes with a Caesar salad or soup of the day as well as a roll and butter or oil. Cocktails are quite good. We had the Lavender Haze and the South Beach -- both came in coupe glass. Service is friendly and efficient. Parking free and available in front. We got sat about 15 minutes after our reservation time which is ok for a busy Saturday night. The service wasn't 5 star, not sure if the server was having off day. The food was good, I got the filet and my dad the Chilean sea bass special. The got rid of their onion straws which would have added to the dish. Overall, I don't know of it's worth the price. read more

Restaurant was FREEZING! If you thought it was getting cold outside just wait. The AC was coming from every angle and there was no seat to avoid it. Our waitress Angela was AMAZING!! She was very attentive and when my steak was found to be too rare (twice) she apologized profusely and they covered my wine. Outside of the steak seeming to not get cooked enough (it was very thick), it was still very good. It was very tender and well flavored. The veggies were good. And the Mac and cheese was very good but also very garlicky. Lucky for me I like it that way but others may not. Very cute occasional dinner meal. My partner and I came here for dinner and we got steaks, I got salmon, which was really good. This place does get packed really fast, it's a local staple for nighttime eatery. A lot of the staff and locals seem to know each other so there's a familiarity atmosphere. There is very little walkable space in that the space between our table and the next table was probably 3 feet away from each other so the radius is very tighten it between seating arrangements. read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. My daughter lives there in town so I get done there to visit the grand kids every few months. We met some friends there for an impromptu dinner. The ambience was lovely but unexpected being that it is locate in a strip mall. We started with bread and dipping oil which was wonderful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and given incredible service. The host immediately sat us down for our reservation and congratulated us on our anniversary. Minutes later, another server appeared, took our drink orders and brought fresh bread. I ordered their take of an Espresso Martini which was delicious! We both ordered a steak and shared sides which were huge haha. Our steaks were tender, and cooked to perfection. Shortly after the manager of the restaurant came by to check on our dinner. We're traveling to the area from the Midwest and our family loves steak! We decided to try this place out and we were BLOWN away!! We had the filet, New York strip, and crab cakes. The steak was fork tender and it was one of the top steaks we've ever eaten! The restaurant was busy and beautiful and our server Aaron M. was wonderful! Here's the thing though, been in this place a couple of times over the last couple of months and there is a diesel/fuel smell that permeates the air and I'm not sure where it's coming from or even what it is, but all at the table smelled it and it definitely detracts from the experience. Surprised we haven't checked this place out sooner. We decided to celebrate our anniversary at this local steakhouse. It was a Sunday and was super busy. We learned that they have a prime rib special on Sundays. Will have to try it next time as it was sold out. As you walk in , the place looks like a typical steakhouse. Table cloth on tables. They also have seasonal/ daily specials and after going over the menu we settled with the following: Grilled octopus Lobstercargo lobster meat in escargot sauce Main course we have the 6 oz fillet and delmonico ribeye. All were delicious. For desert we had the crème brulee and pistachio torte Service was superb! 4 stars because we were not greeted right away and stood there until they realized we were waiting to be greeted and seated. Found both steaks we requested medium, served to us extremely rare. Plates both sent back to kitchen, came back to us, both extremely rare! Waitress apologized, owner (Mike) apologized and compensated us with free desserts. Both of us were so disappointed in this experience as this after 20 years of fantastic meals was very unexpected. Learned the restaurant was sold to new owners very recently, apparently the main staff left also and we found out the hard way. Hopefully the new owners turn this around as the once outstanding dining reputation will disappear very quickly. read more

First time here and probably the last. My dear mother gave us a $100 gift certificate so we finally chose to use it. We both studied the menu ahead of time and I nearly choked on the prices for most of the options. However since it's close to my birthday, who cares? We arrived for the opening at 4pm and there was already a herd out there waiting. Hostess said that all there is are outdoor tables and hi tops by the bar, plus the bar itself. So we got a hi top for 4 and that was that. A few minutes afterward the waitress (Christina) showed up and fetched us bread and oil... We also skipped apps and went right to entrees. Prime rib for the Queen Bee and Delmonico (ie ribeye) for me. Both came with grilled veggies while I chose a baked tater and QB stayed with "loaded" mashed taters. Based on how crowded this place was from the get go (huge party in the back), I was thinking it would be a long wait. However not even 15 minutes after we ordered, the food runner came out with our plates. Holy crow!! Her prime rib was in fact rare as she asked for it. My ribeye was a lil underdone for medium but still quite acceptable. Prime rib has no flavor to begin with so I can't tell ya much...horsey sauce and au jus were both good however, as were the mashed taters. Actually it was potato mousseline and not "mashed taters" in the strict sense. Ribeye as I said was a lil less than medium but not so rare as I didn't like it. One quick word about that...As soon as the food runner left, Christina came along and asked me to cut into my steak just to see. She looked as well and a frown came across her face. I told her it was fine and that was that. As I said: I don't think we are gonna be back. For one thing, I don't like overpriced food. The above along with 4 glasses of house Cabernet (Copper Ridge) came up to just under $114 with tax, including. $1.50 "upcharge" for a damn baked potato. Service was solicitous and friendly, if a bit disjointed. As Christina brought back the receipt she said that she "hope(d) you enjoyed your first meal with us." Well, to be honest, it'll STILL be our last. I can get all this and more for less at Longhorn while enjoying my experience a lot more than I will paying for way overpriced food. Four stars ONLY because of the rather decent service and well prepared food. Certainly NOT for having to eat at a hi top with no tablecloth and a server station over my left shoulder. I was treated to dinner here for my birthday. I had never heard of this place and it's a bit of a drive from where I live but what a good find! The restaurant isn't huge and has unique seating with some private, intimate areas. It caught me a little off guard when we pulled in because GPS took us down the road at first and then we pulled into a strip plaza. Definitely wasn't expecting it to be so nice inside. The food and service was great but I wasn't crazy about the sides, felt a little skimpy in my opinion and compared to other high end places. We were a party of 6 . Had a reservation , got sat promptly. A few minutes later our server greeted us . We ordered drinks . Fifteen minutes later still haven't gotten them . Our server walked by our table numerous times - granted she was busy , but you think she'd notice we hadn't gotten our drinks . Finally got her attention - she said - " oh , someone was suppose to bring them " . If that's the case and those drinks had been sitting at the service area for that long , then the bartender should have had someone run them or gotten a manager to let them know that the drinks had been sitting there that long . LORD HAVE MERCY. I am from out-of state but visit Florida often, and this is by far the BEST meal I ever remember having here... I came here with my parents and my husband to celebrate my mom's retirement. We started with steak tartare which was on the "specials" menu and it was pretty good! I appreciated that they put the "toppings" (onions, pickles, capers) on the side, instead of mixed into the tartare. I also ordered the french onion soup to start with and it was excellent! It had a different flavor than I'm used to for french onion soup, but I loved it. For my entree, I got the 9oz filet mignon (medium-rare). It came out cooked PERFECTLY. It was juicy, tender and the flavor was unbelievable. It wasn't over or under seasoned but just right. There's nothing that could possibly make this steak any better! For dessert, we all shared the creme brûlée cheesecake off the "specials" menu. The cheesecake itself was delicious but the mango sauce was outstanding! I've never had cheesecake like this before and it was amazing. I am still daydreaming about this meal days after eating it. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!! read more

We've been patrons of E&E for years. Today we were back for the first time since the new owners took over. Here are the differences we notices: For 2 people previously there were 4 rolls - now 2 rolls. Instead of herbed oil it's now butter. Previously when ordering Prosecco I would receive the split bottle which provided more than a full glass - now a flute full, no bottle. Previous received a generous amount of Baileys - now about half as much per order. Everything else we order was as good as previously. read more

E & E is tucked into a strip mall off West Bay, close to Largo Hospital, so I was bracing for something low-key. But the moment you step inside, the place screams upscale. It's sleek, elegant, and honestly a bit surprising given the location. Service was on point. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and they kept the warm bread and dipping sauce coming nonstop, which honestly could've been a meal in itself. By the time our entrées arrived, I was already impressed. I ordered the filet, cooked medium rare, and it came out perfectly. Juicy, tender, and seasoned just right--it didn't need a thing added to it. The sides were equally solid. I had the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, both fresh and flavorful without feeling heavy. My tablemates were also happy with their dishes, especially the ribeye and the shrimp scampi, which apparently had just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere made the night feel a bit special--dim lighting, cozy booths, and an overall polished vibe without being pretentious. It was the kind of place you'd go for a celebration, a date night, or in my case, a memorable send-off. All in all, E & E Steakhouse Grill was a surprise in the best way.
