Grand Hacienda (all locations) always reliably delivers a delicious meal. They have the freshest, most flavorful salsa. I'm always a fan of the queso and chimichangas, which are my go-tos every time. Our service was excellent for a busy Saturday night and we always have a great experience at any of their locations.

**** Review 137 **** Stopped for lunch, first time dining here. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Tried one of their new menu items, the Birria Ramen Fusion. I love both dishes by themselves, so when they come together they should be a killer dish. Unfortunately, I felt that it was lacking in flavor. Normally Birria has a delicious bold flavor, and depending on how you eat your ramen, it can also have plenty of flavor. While the food was good and it satisfied the hunger, I was hoping for a little more BAM! Now if you're a person who enjoys the simpler, mild cuisine, then this plate is for you. Now of course this won't stop me from going back a second time and trying something else from their extensive menu. Over all, I think a 4/5 is a great rating for my first time visit.

Grand Hacienda was an excellent Mexican restaurant in St. Pete Beach. I was impressed by the menu variety, service, and speed of the food. Food prices were average and serving sizes were very good. The restaurant isn't large, but it had a good crowd so you knew there was a good following based on food quality. I was impressed they had shredded chicken mole and the flavor was excellent. Overall, definitely worth checking out if you need a break from the fried beach food next time you are in St. Pete.

Stopped in here for dinner after enjoying an afternoon on the beach. Really cute little restaurant with authentic flare. We didn't have a reservation but were seated promptly upon arrival. We arrived around 5:30, I'd defiantly come before 6:00, looks like they tend to get busy after that. Parking in the side or in back but again it fills up so plan ahead. The booths are large with high backs so no awkward look overs. If you have little kids, you understand. The servers were sweet and prompt. The menu is giant! So many options and really something for everyone. We opted for the carne con queso, Mexico City enchiladas and grandmas soup. All were super tasty. The potatoes in the soup threw me for a loop but not in a bad way just not something I'm used to with chicken tortillas soup. Chips and salsa are complimentary. They offer house margaritas and have a happy hour (bogo house margs) 3-6 Monday through Friday. The margaritas were not great if I'm being honest, something about the mix was off. They only have one margarita offering so we swapped for beer.

Service was good, the margarita was okay and the food honestly is way over priced and was not my most favorite Mexican food. Kind of disappointed

The food and drinks were great. The place is quite small to accommodate families but our waitress rocked.

They were welcoming attentive and showed professional ease. The margs were beautiful and tasty and they were still being handmade even though it was a packed house. The menu strikes a perfect balance between traditional comfort and elevated Mexican cuisine. They also had some sophisticated tapas that really showcase the kitchen's creativity, such as stuffed avocado, tostones, empanadas, and chicharron. If you want you traditional fajitas, chimichangas or quesadillas or want something more in the "small plate" territory, this place does it. Great drinks, a vibrant atmosphere, (they had an amazing DJ! ) and--most importantly--spot on service for one of their busiest nights of the year. This was my first visit and I will definitely go back!

We'll stop by for dinner one day. Food looked good.

Let's remain entirely objective about Agave. There is no need for emotional exaggeration; here are…read morethe documented facts of this establishment. **Fact 1: The Taco Regime.** They operate under a rigid, militaristic policy regarding taco distribution. The menu clearly states in aggressive red font: "NO MIX AND MATCH." Do not arrive expecting a whimsical tasting flight of varying meats. You will select one of the fourteen options, you will receive four identical soft corn tortillas, and you will live with the consequences of your choice. **Fact 2: The Moisture Tariff.** Additional structural moisture costs exactly $3.00. If you wish to make your $14 Burrito Fajita "wet" with green sauce, red sauce, or cheese dip, you must pay the hydration fee. It is a straightforward financial transaction: you provide three dollars, and your food becomes wet. **Fact 3: The Walnut Cream Incident.** There is an $18 item called Chile en Nogada. It involves a roasted poblano pepper stuffed with ground beef, pork, apples, raisins, and pecans, which is then covered in a walnut cream sauce and pomegranate seeds. I am not passing judgment; I am simply reporting the physical reality of what they are assembling in their kitchen. Consume at your own risk. **Fact 4: Operating Hours.** They are closed on Sundays. If you show up on the Lord's day expecting a $46 pitcher of prickly pear cactus margarita, you will simply be staring at a locked door in a St. Pete Beach parking lot. The transaction was completed exactly as the laminated menu dictated. No more, no less.

We wanted to eat something that would be filling, comforting, grab a few drinks but not necessarily need a whole sit down experience. So we stumbled upon Casita Taqueria. Thanks to the other awesome reviews, we knew this was the place to go! It literally feels like a casita when you walk in. They have lots of outdoor seating, picnic tables and such. Inside had a bit less seating (especially when it's raining and most of the people want to stay indoors). Either way, we found a table for 5 in no time. The ordering is easy, you go up to the register, order what you want and then they bring the food to you. No servers no waiters just easy. Highly recommend ordering a pitcher of margarita, we got the spicy jalapeño one and it was so refreshing! The food was delicious, freshly made, quick, and perfect for a lunch break. We got the tempeh nachos, rice and beans bowl, chips guac and salsa plus everything else the rest of our table got. We left full and our hearts happy! The ONLY THING I wish I would see was a super spicy house sauce. Which btw, they have a little fridge of their house made sauces for you to grab and enjoy. If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).
