Food still tasty as the first time. Service still came with a smile and attentiveness just saw it was the first time. All I can say is go eat enjoy.

Taco Salad with steak

Had to check out this spot after hearing someone rave about it. Service was excellent! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with picking out what we wanted. I ordered a taco salad with steak. It was delicious! So flavorful and fresh. The steak was cut up a little small but cooked perfectly. The menu had great options! They also had a buffet bar with options too!

Had friend drive an hour to meet me here for the buffet. Don't make this mistake.

Came for lunch buffet, which is advertised on signage outside the restaurant and Facebook. Friend drove an hour to meet me for buffet. Upon arrival, informed that the buffet is no longer an option. Ordered chips & salsa ($4.) Chips were hot crisp and seasoned properly. Salsa was thin watery and very mild, bits of fresh cilantro were a nice (and only) taste. Asked for more salsa, when told it would cost more we ordered guacamole ($5) which did come with more chips. The guacamole was fresh and chunky, but small ramekin portion. Disappointed that the buffet had been cancelled (yet still advertised on FB, and large outdoor signs) we ordered "Monday Special" burrito. ($10.99) Burrito tasted ok, nothing special and smallest burrito I've seen since Taco Bell value menu. After iced tea bill was $36.00 for a most forgettable experience. We were told that buffet would be open for Cinco de Mayo only if that helps anyone....it didn't help us on this day. Service was just OK, we tipped well because it's not the workers fault that buffet is still advertised. Better choices available for sure. Maybe tape over the huge BUFFET signs and an announcement on web platforms?

Pollo Asada Street Tacos

I always drive past this restaurant, stopped by for the first time to pick up some food. Got their pollo asado street taco and asked for their spicy salsa!!! Best combination!!! Will be back to try their other items.

Okay, I am rarely surprised by a restaurant but this place is AWESOME. We came on recommendation of my partner's coworker. I'm taking time to review because I am functionally useless at buffets (been a long time since I've lamented my lack of appetite) and he is on his third trip. Literally, everything we have tried has been delicious. They do have a regular menu but we both opted for the buffet. So, this is not what I call "mid-Iowa Mexican" which I privately call less than stellar places run by folks that think mayo is spicy. This food has flavor. Seasonings have been used. The hot salsa is actually hot... and complex, and flavorful. This is not a can of crushed tomatoes and some Franks Red Hot. I could take shots of this. My partner has eaten his way through every meat offered. Steak fajita, pulled chicken, ground beef, chorizo and peppers. All fantastic. The Sangria is lovely and actually has a hint of cinnamon. (It's all wine based cocktails here, so I stuck to wine.) We did the buffet, as stated, so we didn't require much in the way of service but our server was super prompt and friendly, and kept our table from being overtaken by the debris of gluttony. There is fresh fruit (partner just pretty much just decimated a whole pineapple) and rice pudding... my one deep sadness is that I heard rumors of unlimited flan that was nowhere to be found. My soul weeps, but the second Sangria is helping. They have BOGO wine cocktails 3-6 so I will plan more carefully next time. To wrap up, this place is also quirky and maximalist in the best possible way. Like, a hip Mexican Auntie designed this and I want her to come to my house next. Also, kind of wondering if they'll let me buy that Frida painting. Come here, tell your friends. This buffet is my best discovery since the sunrise crepes at Marquis Cafe like 5 years ago. Offering further proof of my assessment is that only one other table/ carry out has not responded to the staff en español.

This place has it all, great authentic Mexican feel paired with great delicious Mexican food. As someone who calls San Diego home, I still stand by saying San Diego has the best Mexican food in the world. I haven't had much luck since moving to Florida if you check my latest reviews you'll see i have been on a search for quality Mexican cuisine. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito which is always been my favorite. I customized it with no issues by adding potato. The difference between a Californian burrito to a traditional burrito is back home on the West Coast we put French fries or potato in the burrito. This place did not disappoint one bit. The burrito was packed full and with a variety of flavor in every bite that kept me wanting more and more. (I finished the entire burrito on the beach) yum yum more more! They season their potatoes deliciously with a mild spice and the sauces are almost perfect. I was not expecting this good of a burrito. It was the perfect burrito and im happy to say I found this place. They also have a buffet and I plan on coming back over and over. If you have not been here I strongly recommend Shout out to the chef with the skills and the waitress for the excellent service. You guys Rock!

I love this place. Text Max. Very very reasonably priced. Everything is super tasty and super fresh. I've always had the Buffet, I've never ordered from the menu. But if the buffet is good, I'm sure the menu items are very very good. Highly recommend this place. It reminds me of home..

Excellent - Food was authentic & fresh. And the price was right! $16 during the week $19 on weekends.

The Black Bull is one of the most unique restaurants in Kenneth City. We chose the buffet option, so the expectations were not too high from the start. However, I expected a little bit more than what I encountered. For $16.50 a person, I wish it was more intentional. It seemed like it was just random foods on the the line. Not bad, but not great.

Tried the new buffet today and was BLOWN away how great it was. From fresh and authentic choices to how clean it was this is a steal for $13.00. I hope they continue this because I know we'll be back!

They were welcoming attentive and showed professional ease. The margs were beautiful and tasty and they were still being handmade even though it was a packed house. The menu strikes a perfect balance between traditional comfort and elevated Mexican cuisine. They also had some sophisticated tapas that really showcase the kitchen's creativity, such as stuffed avocado, tostones, empanadas, and chicharron. If you want you traditional fajitas, chimichangas or quesadillas or want something more in the "small plate" territory, this place does it. Great drinks, a vibrant atmosphere, (they had an amazing DJ! ) and--most importantly--spot on service for one of their busiest nights of the year. This was my first visit and I will definitely go back!

We thought this was the right place to watch the match, but it wasn't the vibe we were looking for. Service was attentive, we ordered a round of drinks and a queso fundido. Chips and salsa were delicious, and the queso fundido was great! We decided to go to a more traditional Mexican place where Mexicans go, so we decided to get the check and go somewhere different. We'll stop by for dinner one day. Food looked good.

We wanted to eat something that would be filling, comforting, grab a few drinks but not necessarily need a whole sit down experience. So we stumbled upon Casita Taqueria. Thanks to the other awesome reviews, we knew this was the place to go! It literally feels like a casita when you walk in. They have lots of outdoor seating, picnic tables and such. Inside had a bit less seating (especially when it's raining and most of the people want to stay indoors). Either way, we found a table for 5 in no time. The ordering is easy, you go up to the register, order what you want and then they bring the food to you. No servers no waiters just easy. Highly recommend ordering a pitcher of margarita, we got the spicy jalapeño one and it was so refreshing! The food was delicious, freshly made, quick, and perfect for a lunch break. We got the tempeh nachos, rice and beans bowl, chips guac and salsa plus everything else the rest of our table got. We left full and our hearts happy! The ONLY THING I wish I would see was a super spicy house sauce. Which btw, they have a little fridge of their house made sauces for you to grab and enjoy. I just WISH there was a spicy one, the sweet one was pretty good!

Don't be put off by the exterior appearance. It's a little shabby looking outside. We almost didn't go in. I am so glad we did. Inside is cutely decorated with some small flower vases on each table. The wait staff was friendly and service efficient. It was a Monday night and only one other table was full. They were doing a brisk takeout business though. My wife had the chicken enchilada from the appetizer menu. It was big enough for a meal. She said it was the best she has had. First basket of chips and salsa was included. Wife not a big fan of the salsa but I feel each restaurant has their own take on salsa. We also got an order of Guacamole. It was fresh and delicious. I finished it off myself. I got the Mojado burrito with carnitas. It was stuffed with tender, juicy pork and I could barely finish it after devouring all the guacamole. We had no room for dessert. Overall a nice casual experience with friendly service and fresh food.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food do NOT go here. This is honestly worse than having Taco Bell. We tried a couple things and none of it was worth the money. The carne asada, al pastor and chicken all were SO bad. The salsa wasn't good or the horchata. Don't be fooled by these reviews like we were and trust this one. Whoever's tried this and left a good review clearly has never had real Mexican food.
