We stopped in for late lunch at this little whole in the wall restaurant. Had the shrimp marisco. It was fantastic! Portion was large and fed both of us with one dish. The guacamole is very good. Kinda pricey on the Mexican cola so maybe not order that, but definitely look this place up. There was no one but us there so service was wonderful. read more

After going to los pulpos for the second time, there definitely won't be a third . My boyfriend and I were happy with the service and food yes . At the end we got the bill, wondering why and extra $19 was added automatically as gratuity. I think that is robbery to the customers ! After paying we still left her $10 tip. No it's not Casa Tinas or VIP. What it is .... Located at the end corner of strip mall ohh Seminole Blvd. You might could drive by 100x and never notice it. But it is here, and has been for years. It unpretentious... Basic...small and old.. However, old does mean dirty. Actually quite clean. Here you have a working owner, he greets most customers coming in. His welcome is warm and genuine. It's a small space, with mostly comfy booths for a max of about 40 patrons. No damn televisions! Instead nice soft Mexican/ Latin music plays.... Relax now and enjoy your meal..Or 2-4-1 margaritas. My lunch of steak tacos, refried beans & rice is not going to win any awards.But was adequate and as expected. Nice portion size. Having read other reviews here for this place. Some of the reviewers have never ever been here. Yelp is full of malicious 1 star fake reviews. Unethical competitors and perhaps a few SEO experts lowering their rating and thus their ranking. Id of gone 4 plus... But I'm going with 5 to balance out the fake reviews and because they do try their best...if something is ever not right. The owner is usually here. He cares. Owner operated and local, this is a great place to have lunch or have dinner, or take out for later. Food is prepared while you wait so it may take a few minutes longer, but it is worth the wait. I've been coming here for many years and think that this place is grossly underrated by some of the negative reviews. If you don't like it, just don't go back. This is a quaint, family owned restaurant that serves great food. Which is nice to go to once in a while instead of the pricey chain restaurants that rush you along so the next table can sit. The food is always fresh, the service is always friendly and it's at a great price. If it's too expensive for you, find a coupon for it in one of those "Americas Favorite Coupon Book". That being said, my go to meal is chicken chimichanga with white cheese sauce and a chicken enchilada. The strawberry margarita is delicious, I get it without the salt or sugar because it's not needed. Who cares if the ice comes from an ice tray, who ever complained about that in one of the previous post is being such a negative hater. I recommend giving it a try. They do have lunch specials. And they do have a happy hour. They are a mom and pops place, and they do speak English. If you don't have the patience then skip this place and get your Mexican food from Taco Bell down the street. Food was delicious, but they didn't have a lunch menu. Small portion of chips & salsa with no refill. Beans & rice were the best part. So yummy. The $1 add enchilada was good, but next time I'll ask for 5. They were tiny. A bit pricey for the portion size overall. Water tasted like old tap water and the ice cubes came out of a freezer tray. I took mine to go-- Chicken Enchiladas, Beef Burrito & couple of Tacos along with rice & refried beans. Very, very good. They took extra care in packing my bags. I also gotta give a HUGE shout out to their Guacamole. So fresh & delicious!! This ace was very, very clean. I also used the restroom while waiting & that too was very, very clean which shows me how a place is run I highly recommend this hole in the wall. Always excellent food. Daniel & his wife make excellent food. Steak Fajitas were great. Moist not dried out. Steak Chimichurri Burrito was served with a chicken enchilada. Both were very tasty. If you like authentic Mexican this is it. Drove by and stopped in to give it a try. Hard to see it as it sits back a little in the plaza. Great lunch specials, I got a beef chimichanga covered in queso w rice and beans for 7$. Beer and margaritas were 2-4-1, but the beer was over priced, thats my only gripe. That's ok though the food more than made up for it. Only had a few customers so service was spot on. The food came out so hot I could barely eat it. I left fat and happy! Very clean inside and saw the waiter do a deep clean on another table when another group of customers was finished. Will definitely return. Wow!! We really needed to get out of the house! Decided that we wanted Mexican food. VIP would be packed, so we looked up Mariscos. Good reviews so let's try! We went early as we wanted to dine out. It's been a couple months since we ate out at a restaurant. We lucked out and were the only ones there! 2-4-1 super margaritas! Could have used more booze for 11.00 but yummy! We got the combo apps. Excellent guac, queso and salsa! We licked the bowls!! They said guac was made fresh! I had the combo, chicken chimichanga and chicken enchilada. The chimi was so good! Eve beans and rice were good. Hubby got the carne steak burrito and enchilada plate. The burrito was huge!! Covered in yummy queso sauce! I'm getting that sauce next time! He loved it. We got some salsa to take home! Horrible food!!! They should not use Bite Squad for delivery either, the first time my order was delivered to my neighbor. I decided to try again the next night, big mistake. I've lived in Seminole now a little more than 2 years and sadly this place has fallen under my radar. Not sure how I missed it considering I scour Yelp daily for meal ideas. Having a craving for Mexican food, this place popped up, and boy am I glad it did! Ordered lunch for myself and the Miss and was shocked at the value! Lunch specials are very affordable and the burritos are huge! The wet burrito was well sauced and had a good amount of cheese and the rice and refried beans were plentiful and flavorful. We also ordered the three taco plate (flour) and I got it filled with Carne asada. Wasn't over impressed with the quality of the meat, but it was tasty as a whole and very filling. I opted to get guacamole on the side for 1.75 and was expecting maybe a dollop at that price, but they filled a 4 ounce cup to the top! And it was good quality gauc! Chunky and fresh. Very impressive! The only negative I had was I felt the shredded chicken in my girlfriends burrito was under seasoned, and had it not been covered in Ranchero sauce and cheese, it would have been disappointing, but luckily it was saved by that flavorful option. Overall, I'm glad I found this place. Food is fresh, prices are fantastic, and there menu is massive. Can't wait to go back and try more options! this place is terrible. customer service was terrible and the owner tried to scam us when we wanted to leave after getting Queso and drinks and them being disgusting. the server then proceeded to get defensive and try to fight us when we argued the price knowing it was wrong. we used the piece of paper he wrote prices on and added it into the calculator and the math wasn't mathing. This is one of the best lowkey Mexican restaurants in pinellas. It has a real family environment since there are only a couple of employees. If they're busy expect to wait a little bit because there is only one waiter for about 8-10 tables but he's really fast a has a good memory. They have a good 2 for 1 deal on alcohol. They have a bunch of combinations you can choose from like the one in my second photo so you have a good variety of food for decent prices. Interesting find tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Very clean with a courteous staff. However, the food was just sort of meh. I have a feeling after tasting the tap water that the weird taste in the food stems from their water supply. Anything that has to use water (such as ice and rice) had a distinct strangeness to the taste. The salsa was also pretty awful. On a plus side, happy hour is all day and the drinks are decent. While I don't see myself coming back here, I would not say "stay away" to anyone interested in giving it a shot. read more

WOW! What a great Mexican restaurant hidden in a strip mall! My husband and I think it is some of the best authentic Mexican food we've ever had.
