Sketchy parking lot but the interior is really nice. Good food selection, soup was flavorful and not salty. Hotpot and karaoke is a good combination. We had fun. Attentive servers.

I enjoyed my dinner at Grand Hotpot Lounge. Upon my arrival the person seating us was very efficient and spoke zero words to us, instead he used hand motions to get us seated. We didn't mind, thought it was pretty funny. However, minus one star because I felt like I was inconveniencing them because we had never came here before and were all unfamiliar with the ordering experience. There's a pen on the table and the paper menu, you just write the quantity of items and they come take the paper and you get your order. I also hate self serve sauce bars because I suck at making sauces. But drinks are included (we did course C) the alcohol they get for you, but can drinks you can help yourself to from the fridge. They also have a wide variety of ice cream flavors in the front of the restaurant. The restaurant was nice and I peeked in the karaoke rooms those look fun too. I noticed there were hot pot tables in those rooms so that's cool. My friends and I enjoyed our time here and will be coming back!

Okay here's the deal. If you love hotpot and you love karaoke, y'all HAVE to make your way out here. This place has VIP rooms for AYCE hotpot AND karaoke. At the same time. I came with family and friends, and while we only tried the AYCE hotpot (no karaoke this time), it hit the spot. The inside is elevated and spacious with lots of seating options. They have booths and round tables and you'll get seated accordingly depending on the party size. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the menu also included all you can drink items too, with a selection of different drinks to choose from--sodas, juices, teas, etc. On top of that, there is all you can eat ice cream. It can't get any better than that. The way you order at this place is to mark all the items you want on the provided menu. The menu will ask you what kind of soups, meats, veggies, noodles, and appetizers you want. Some places have a limit of how much you can order per round, but here we were able to order everything at once, and it was a looot. We only did two rounds--a big hitter round one and a humble round two. Highly recommend coming here! I'd definitely come back again and reserve a karaoke room next time for an even more unique experience.

I've been to the Grand Hot Pot Lounge in SF and I believe it is the same branch. All you can eat hot pot, honey walnut shrimp, crab won tons, unlimited drinks, ice cream, beer and karaoke rooms you can rent. I came here for a private party in their large room and I think it's a little harder since the tables are larger and leaning over compared to smaller tables but the food is still really good and service is good too. Their meats, veggies, seafood variety. You can have 2 different soup bases. In the main area you can get your own rice and make your own sauces and drinks. Huge venue space, located in a shopping plaza on a Saturday night it was pretty busy and parking was full. Highly recommend for groups and families!

Highly recommend this place! The House Spicy and House Original flavors were both delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Great quality for the price!

Bold statement, but this is my favorite hotpot restaurant in Sacramento. I've been supporting Grand Hotpot Lounge since their soft opening phase, and they've never ever disappointed me. First off the service - they've got it down. From the waiters, to the owner, to anyone who cleans up plates and the tables as you dine-- are all attentive, friendly, and helpful. My coworkers and I work late shifts and always try to make it here before they close. We would come pretty late near their closing time, but they always took us in and never rushed us when we did dine in late after work. It's usually the owner and a couple of his workers/friends that are here late and they have dinner there! I love it, because it sort of makes you feel less alone, lol. Ambiance - Looking from the outside, you would never expect the inside to be so grand. However, it's called Grand Hotpot Lounge for a reason. Once you walk in, it literally looks like a more upscale restaurant. A huge grand door, plenty of tables and seating, huge ceiling decor, a fire pit out front, and multiple stations of things: toppings bar, rice, dessert, and they even have a separate karaoke/hotpot hybrid room if you have a big party! The pots that they bring out and serve broth in is literally gold, lol. Food - Everything here is good. From the appetizers, to the quality of meats, to anything extra you order to put in your hotpot (noodles, veggies, seafood, etc.). They have a dim-sum restaurant ordering style where you get a paper, and just mark anything you want on there. They bring out everything very quickly, and if you run out of things to put in, just grab another piece of the ordering sheet and send it in. It's that simple. Every time I come, I always do AYCE. If there's one appetizer I recommend everyone to try here, it's the honey walnut shrimp. They're basically huge prawns, and they're cooked to perfection. After your meal, they do have a dessert station that offers ice cream! When you pay, I love that they include coupons. It makes me want to come back immediately.

Great hot pot place! I first discovered Grand Hotpot from their other location in Pacifica and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a location in Sacramento! There are plenty of parking spots outside the restaurant. Their format for the menu is basically the same as the other location. You can choose from three different tiers - A, B, and C. A has the basics without all-you-can-drink alcohol (regular drinks are included, though). B includes all-you-can-drink alcohol along with items such as sashimi and other seafood! C is the most expensive and includes everything from A & B, soju, and more! The food itself is fresh, and they have multiple broths that you can choose from. The variety here is unbeatable with their menu and drink options. Dessert is also included! I can't get enough of the black sesame ice cream. Also, you can enjoy 20% off lunch when you dine between 12 PM - 4 PM! This has definitely become our spot to go to every time we visit Sacramento. We have already been back multiple times.

An incredible hidden gem right in the middle of south sac. As you enter this place, you are greeted by a beautifully modern decorated place. They provide an abundance of food for an AYCE and Drink Chinese HotPot and Karaoke if you choose. They have 3 different menu options to choose.

They have yummy food, great prices, and karaoke. If you come during lunchtime, then you get 20% off I brought my friends here and families so you know it's good.

So I doubt this place will ever , EVER get a bad review from me . Been here numerous times and it's always a pleasant experience . If you're not familiar with how it works the staff will walk You through it the first time . Each side is made to order , it always come out HOT and FRESH and just so good each and every time . We are currently trying to Perfect our experience but it gets better and better each time . They also have private party rooms With karaoke etc ! I really enjoy it here and I look forward to my next trip.

"We came to Grand Hotpot Lounge for a friends' birthday dinner and it was such a fun night. The dining room is modern and spacious with good parking, and the staff greeted us warmly. We chose a tiered AYCE package and were impressed by the quality of the meats (especially the beef and lamb) and the broth flavors. The free drink station (sodas, Thai tea, coconut drink) was a nice bonus. We had reserved a private karaoke room and the combination of hot pot + singing really made the evening feel like an experience, not just dinner. A couple of caveats: we were surprised by the automatic service charge even for a small group, and the karaoke room could use better soundproofing. But overall it's a lively, tasty choice in Sacramento -- we'll be back!" If you're in the mood for hot pot and want more than just a meal -- if you want an experience -- Grand Hotpot Lounge is highly recommended. Just come prepared for the premium pricing, check ahead about fees and bookings, and bring a group so you can maximize the fun.

I had some good recommendations about this spot so I decided to give it a try on my birthday. We were able to reserve a nice table right in the middle for my family and I. We were kindly greeted by the servers and were so helpful to show us around. Nice spot and they have private karaoke rooms! We pretty much tried all of the broths on the menu and I'll have to say they did that! The meats were really tender and paired well with all of the broths. They also have a sauce bar to make your own sauce! My favorite part is the all you can drink beverages! They mixed it up with those too! Sodas, teas, coffee, soy milk, water, etc. AND they even had a DIY ice cream station (that part was a little skeptical for me considering anyone can put dirty hands in those tub of ice creams, just sayin). Overall, I had a good experience and will definitely give this spot a shout out

Came here with some coworkers and it was super fun!! We got a large table with double soup options hot pot. There were so many delicious meats to choose from sides, and seafoods. I was super excited to try out everything! Parking was super easy they have plenty. Staff is super nice and explains the whole process to you. I could not believe how large and flavor packed each portion was. You will not be leaving hungry!

First of all, the food served is exactly like the photos. I got the short rib bun burger and bulgogi gyoza. The burger (omg) had a balance of sweet and salty but also a little spicy. Halfway through I noticed something yellow, it was a pineapple! Usually I have mixed feelings about pineapple with foods like pizza. But this complimented so well. Now, the gyoza. Crispy and you can't go wrong with bulgogi. What I was surprised with was inside I think it was japchae! If you like Korean food like me, I was so excited to see this twist. And yes it was yummy. I seem to get lucky most times and get to meet the owners. That day I met them and they're so nice! I can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu, ingredients, decor, etc. The owners are Japanese and Korean. Hence KoJa! Even this detail was really impressive. I ended up going back because the owner told me that his wife (also owner) created Yang Nyum and it was really good and popular. So I got Yang Nyum, kamikaze fries, and taro boba. The portions were great. But most of all, he was right about Yang Nyum, delicious! I didn't realize the kamikaze fries had beef, so yummy but I definitely overate that day, lol. One other thing I really liked was you could order at the register or kiosk. This is a great way to avoid lines. Once you order they have a screen that shows your ETA (why do other restaurants not have this?). I did go during the day though. So, I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Especially after dancing or bar hopping, the food here would pair well. Koja also sells alcohol too though and apparently downstairs is where the dancing is at. Will I go here again, absolutely.

The dueling piano show at the Silver Lining this past weekend was not as crazy or crowded as it…read moregets in SF or Vegas (my regular spots), but definitely more lively than Vacaville, and on par with San Carlos, South Lake Tahoe, San Diego, and Houston. Yes, I go to a lot of dueling piano shows. The Silver Lining has been on my list for a while, so I'm glad I finally got to experience it. Reserved seating in advance, at the bar which costs a little less than the main area, but is just as fun and engaging if you come for the live music. It's a small spot, so the sound fills the room no matter where you sit. The dueling piano show ends between 10:30-11:00pm. I enjoyed it while it lasted. The song request list included Pink Pony Club, Bennie And The Jets, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Sweet Caroline, Gangster's Paradise, I Love Rock n Roll, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, My Girl, Piano Man, Come and Get Your Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Elton John's Your Song, Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero, and a mash up of Brown Eyed Girl and Summer of 69. (I swear I didn't name the entire song list for the night, lol) The musicians were playful but didn't butcher songs to the point of being distasteful... yes some dueling pianists do this at other venues. And their music added to an already inviting setting featuring dim lighting and cool wall art. The drinks of course added to my experience as well. For cocktails, I had the Hell of a Caucasian, Jackie (which was pretty much a chocolate martini) and the 1982 Mojito. The drinks were made well, both in terms of flavor and alcohol content. The bartenders were friendly and attentive and provided excellent service. It's a coincidence I wore a dress, cuz most ladies were wearing dresses on this night. It's a casual spot, I guess it's just the warm weather. A great spot for a fun night out regardless. Thank you, Silver Lining, for a good time.
