Heard this was the place for best Chinese roast duck and was pretty disappointed. Food was OK, would not necessarily say it was any better than Ranch 99. Service left a lot to be desired. They prioritize the to go orders over the diners. Got the 2-item rice plate with duck and crispy pork. The duck was all bones, the back part near the tail. I asked the server if that was normal and she got so angry and said we'd have to pay extra for a different section. I told her we'll pay extra and she took our plate away. They replaced those pieces with 1 cut up drumstick. The crispy pork was really good. The vegetables were completely cold. The table next to us ordered the same thing and specifically asked for duck drumstick or duck wing pieces and they weren't told they had to pay extra. The beef brisket clay pot came in a steel hot pot type pot, not clay pot. Full of tendon and ligaments, some cooked lettuce and daikon radish. This was underwhelming and not worth the price. The pork intestine clay pot came on a cast iron pan (like fajitas come on) and was stir fried with onions, bell peppers and red sauce. This was pretty good, but for sure needs to be eaten with rice. The crispy tofu is actually heavily salted and tossed with chopped jalapeños, red chilis and garlic. All you taste is salt. I would not order this again. The food is pretty good, fresh, and reasonably priced, and I like the large selection on the menu. I had the duck and rice plate of which came with cabbage. It was very good, with an abundance of rice. Our table also ordered the Singapore noodles with shrimp, which I liked with a curry flavor to it. Though the food was very good, and very authentic, the service quick bit sparse, especially when they get busy. They get your food out to you quick, but you may not see them again til they bring the bill unread you catch their attention. Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated.
