Extremely poor service. Took my car in on a Thursday afternoon late. Troubleshoot a low rumble vibration at 20mph. Also told them when car was on a jack last year the rear tires didn't spin, it's all wheel drive. I also needed 4 new tires and an oil pressure switch. They said they'd look at it Friday and call me. No call. Saturday no call. Weekend went by. I called them Monday morning 11am. They hadn't even looked at it yet. Monday 1-2pm they told me I needed new drive shaft. $1,200. New "Cooper tires 50k mile $357 and pressure switch $120. I told them hold off on shaft but hey Cooper tires for $357. Go ahead do tires and switch. 5pm Tuesday car was not even touched. Don the service Mgr said they serviced 30 other customers that had the same tire size before me because I said for them to take their time. Lie!! What's worse then he told me their delivery truck broke down. Lie!! Then he said I told him we spoke two days before, well that would have been on a Sunday. Lie!! Then find out Those "Cooper" tires. Not really Cooper but off brand. Lier lier pants on fire. Place is a joke. read more

I didn't have a tool to install a spark plug in my mower. The hardware store would not take a minute to tighten the new plug I bought there. Decided to try Grand Ledge Auto & Tire. Guy at the desk was busy on the phone with calls and the counter was full of keys/work orders. Another guy asked me what I needed. He said I could leave the mower and it would be done by the end of the day. Phone guy said wait a minute. Learning my mower was in my SUV, he said he'd help me unload it. Installed the plug and helped me load it up. A business who can do things like this have my business. Buy gas there too. Kudos! Made my day. read more

Complete brake service was completed beyond what was recommended by aanother service place and for less cost. Also they freed up my parking brake cables so the brake works fine now, where as, the other place said I would need to replace them at $500. I had a whole list of service items and an estimate from another shop. All in all, Grand Ledge Tire and Auto saved me $600 and did a better job. I have bought tires from them at a fair price in the past. Once I needed an emergency oil change because I had neglected to get it done. Art got me inn within an hour! It is nice to have a good repair shop right here in town. read more

I was driving by Grand Ledge Tire and Auto today, when my car started making a loud noise. I pulled in, the owner happily came out, checked my oil, drove it around, took it into a bay and found something stuck in my hub cap. He truly cared that my vehicle would be safe for me to drive. They really helped me out when I was in a tough spot. I was cleaning up storm damage at my brother-in-law's house when I rolled a tire off from the rim on my tractor, I do not live in the area, and they fixed it immediately. Great bunch of guys. read more
