Ladies are nice . The owner doesn't have feelings. If he sees a customer not happy, try your best to fix the situation. He didn't care and did not want to deal with it. In my situation, The lady employee had empathy and worked to make me happy. She deserves a raise and pay her to teach customer service to the male owner( he's so rude) . I'm big on customer service and he disappoints Pricey here But place is clean and quality is good. read more

The facility is lovely and staff was kind. I popped in on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me immediately. I tried to book online but the website took me to an out of state salon. If you don't have an appointment and can't get in, there is no waiting area. My polish unfortunately came out super bubbly, my cuticles look the same and I have major chipping less than 24 hours after. The color I chose was almost empty and they took it in the back part way through polishing- not sure if they thinned it out too much or what. Perhaps if I had done dip/gel the experience would've been different. read more

I've had my nails done here since they opened, five years ago. The team is wonderful and are always accommodating. I've even taken my team from my business here as well as my family. Everyone has had a consistent and great experience! I'm very confused why some of the not so positive reviews. I consistently have appointments every 3 weeks for mani pedis and have only received great results. The owners are lovely and the salon is very clean and comfortable. They are constantly upgrading and refreshing the space. GNS always has the latest trends and colors. When first moving to the area, I had several negative experiences at other places. Never here. Would not honor the price listed on their website. They changed techs in the middle of the service, which I hate. The woman (I think the owner) didn't clean up the mess ups on my cuticles and left me to dry without a timer and I didn't see her til I got up to pay. My daughters brought me here for Mother's Day - we chose them because they allow appointments, and we wanted to be sure we had a good day. My pedicure, and my daughter's pedicure, were both incredible; the salon is lovely and relaxing, it wasn't overbooked. They'd had two call-offs, on Mother's Day, but the technicians working with us were patient and friendly; we didn't feel rushed. I got the Grand Nail Pedicure with hot stones, and I would recommend it! I felt a little tricked into getting gel polish on my toes, which I never do, and my daughter felt pressured to get a manicure to match her toenails, but overall, very good experience. My other daughter was getting her manicure while we got our pedicures. Her experience was not good. She asked for acrylic tips with dip powder. She was rushed to choose a color, and actually told in a raised voice that she was taking too long when she asked us for an opinion. We'd only talked for 2-3 minutes, the salon was not busy and no walk-ins came during this period. Then the technician actually chose a color for her!! It did not match the existing color on her toes, and it wasn't one we'd even been talking about, or something seasonally relevant, it was a very deep blue. This daughter, a mid-20-something with a Master's degree in Social Work, also happens to have a disability - Cerebral Palsy - which means she doesn't have very good control of the muscles in the hand on one side of her body. Her technician repeatedly told her to relax her hand; my daughter explained that she's disabled and was doing her best. The woman repeatedly yelled at her to relax, relax, relax. (Not at all relaxing.) My daughter, embarrassed, asked her to stop and just remove what she'd done (just the acrylic tips), as she was not enjoying the experience. The technician IGNORED HER and kept right on going. She applied one tip completely crooked, and filed it crooked. She chose a feature nail and did one sparkly and the rest plain, without asking if my daughter wanted that or liked sparkly. There is a giant gap of white, which is acrylic tip that was never even touched with dip powder. And her hands are COVERED in dip powder - to the extent that I thought she'd gotten gel polish and it had been smeared on her hands; I didn't understand why the technician didn't clean it off with remover before finishing. No, it's blue streaks of dip powder that has been activated and is all over her skin; which will look wonderful for her at work tomorrow. I wanted dips for my nails, but received the same gel that had been applied to my toes. ‍ Whatever. Had I just been getting a pedicure, on a normal day? This would have been a fantastic day for me. But I am mortified by the way my daughter was disrespected, and am so disappointed in the negative feelings created for her as she was trying to celebrate with me. That did not leave me with warm fuzzies; I would not recommend this salon to anyone with chronic pain or illness, or any kind of anxiety. read more

They charged more than they quoted me but that would have been ok if the nails would have come out looking decent but half of the nails look like they were done my a first time nail tech. Filed too much. Came in with long nails and came out with short and overfilled nails. This place would improve if people listened and looked and stopped placing blame on nail beds and peoples fingers. read more

I have been to this salon several times. They are typically kind and I leave content. I got a pedicure with a new tech (new to me) and they scraped my toenail bed so hard it began to bleed. The tech and the owner both apologized, but continued to dig and then put something on it that caused it to burn. I told them to stop and the owner then said she could get the "hang nail". I told them both I was in pain more than once. I will not be returning. read more

BEST mani/pedi experience I've ever had! Spur the moment had the afternoon to myself (Thanks hubby!) Walked right in on a Saturday and had a very short wait. (Though they recommend you calling) I felt very spoiled and catered to that whole time. You would have thought I was at a luxury resort, not in a strip mall. The facility is brand new, very clean, quiet & so friendly. Beautiful place and very clean and nice. Unfortunately, I got dip nails and they chipped the very next day. Went back and got the one nail fixed, and when I came out into the sunlight, it was a different shade. I just shrugged it off and went home. The following day, three more nails chipped while cooking dinner, and by the end of the week, almost every nail was chipping on the side. It has been exactly one week today and I will have to take them off in the next day or two. I've gotten dip done many times over the past three years and this has never happened. Although they fixed the first nail, I do not have time to go back two and three days later to repair the newly broken ones. I think the application process was just too thin and they couldn't hold up. I began choosing dip over gel polish because it is thicker and last way longer. Either the consistency of the dip power or the way the nails were done by the nail tech...I've never had nails chip within the first three days. Unfortunately, I will not return which is sad because it is so convenient on my way home from work. read more

If you are wanting a well shaped nail and/or a relaxing hand massage this is not the place. I'd been growing my nails out naturally and was wanting to get a manicure to get them shaped well for continued growth. She asked what shape I wanted square or round, I said round. She filed them(without clipping them or anything) like she was in a rush. It was very fast, totally uneven, and nowhere near a typical naturally rounded nail shape. I asked her to make them less narrow and more natural and she said ok and proceeded to do the same with the rest of the nails. She cut the sides of my nails with a cuticle cutter halfway up my nail so that they will grow very narrow and I will have to continue trimming them for probably months until the crazy narrow shape goes away. She made them so narrow It genuinely looks like a toddlers nail size on an adult finger. The second I got home I had to cut them all the down and attempt to shape them which was made almost impossible by her cutting the sides up the nails. My sister had to get her Dip nails removed first. They somehow messed that up and her entire hands were covered in disintegrated dip and nail tips. Her fingers were fused together. She looked like she had scales. They spent about 40 minutes scrubbing her with acetone and towels before using the electric buffer on her skin to get It off. This is just not the place. The atmosphere and decor is very relaxing but the actual quality of services is not good. read more

I hate writing this review because the staff at Grand Nail Salon is so nice but I've now gone in for 3 full acrylic sets and EVERY time my nails break within the first week and by the second I've lost at least 3 nails. I've been getting my nails done regularly since I was 14, normally I can make a set last 3 weeks. They break right where the nail extension is which tells me it's the actual extension not glued on well and not enough acrylic on top to hold it. If you're going for anything else then they are great but if you're someone with long acrylics just say no. It's not worth the $70 read more

RUDE. Rude is probably the kindest thing I could say about this place. I showed the nail tech a picture off of Pinterest of what I wanted done to my nails. The picture was labeled "short coffin". When the lady asked if I wanted coffin I said "yes, just like the picture". She proceeded to make my nails very pointy, not like the picture. I expressed before she got too far into doing my nails that this wasn't what I wanted. She started yelling at me to the top of her lungs saying that the picture had "square not coffin" and I wasn't clear. A misunderstanding is understandable but yelling at anyone, especially a customer, is not. She spoke to me in a manner that was degrading and rude. The whole salon got quiet. However, she ended up fixing my nails to look like the picture after I insisted kindly that I would rather not get my nails done than leave with pointy nails (I am a student who types and writes a lot so it would make that harder for me). When I went to pay, the other nail tech said that what I wanted was indeed coffin (and I was charged for coffin) and that she was just "speaking loudly to accommodate the masks". Therefore, she did acknowledge that I was essentially yelled at. Essentially, go here if you want your relaxing day to go south by being yelled at, verbally attacked, and degraded :) read more
