I just received a FAKE confirmation email from this company with a FAKE time and a FAKE appointment. Ironically, I do have an appt with my real pedi professional roughly within 15 min of the scheduled date/time and it felt odd but I confirmed out of trust. Texted my pedi professional asking if this was him to be advised it WAS NOT and to please dismiss. I did start out happily at this salon in 2011 and there were good people. Those folks have since moved on and THIS is how the new owner baits to treat their customers? Are you KIDDING me? Not cool and I'm extremely disappointed. Work with me. Offer to reach out and see if you can win me back (you won't sorry not sorry) but be a PROFESSIONAL about your business practices. Over all this shop is very clean, I liked that the pedicure bowls had liners. I went in for a pedicure around noon they were not busy but they weren't very friendly. As for the pedicure I got done I've definitely had better, the paint job need another cot to cover the nail. It was a basic pedicure and not one of their more expensive ones, so I'm curious if they get more coverage for the money. A good chance I will not be getting this service again here. read more

Honestly my experience while there was pretty good. Everyone was really nice - however I clearly got there late and wish they would have been upfront that they didn't have the time to get to my nails. Instead the manager rushed the lady doing my nails (she even said she felt like they were rushing her) to the point where it was done so fast the paint bubbled up. So now I have decent shaped nails but the paint looks like I did it myself which sucks because I paid for it. Overall the place was clean and everyone was really nice. But I most likely won't go back because I don't 100% feel like I got what I paid for. read more

I loved the manicurists and they did a wonderful job and were very friendly. The place was nice, relaxing and clean BUT... My mother bought Groupons for us in 2011 to receive express manicures here and we accidentally let the Groupon expire. The Groupon says "face value never expires" which was ONLY $9.00 each Groupon. We mentioned this before the manicure and the manicurists weren't sure about it and would have to ask the owner at checkout which was fine. Well at checkout we gave them our Groupons and the Manicurist proceeded to ask the owner who at the time was doing a manicure and was in view and earshot. She was very rude to her manicurist and had a nasty look on her face and a horrible attitude about a simple question that we weren't even arguing about. We just asked if we could use them since it says the face value of ONLY $9.00 never expires. The owner sent up her manager who was also kinda rude and bluntly said to us "we cannot accept these" and argued with us about how they wouldn't honor them. Even though they coped such an attitude, and pissed me off with the behavior, I never said an argumentative word about it. I got a Gelish manicure which was $42, they made of money off of us. We wouldn't have even come there if it wasn't for the Groupon. If your reading this owner/manager...was $9 worth losing two new customers? As an owner/manager you need to stay calm and friendly about a situation and not get so pissy, especially in front of customers! I can't imagine how you act in a situation were the customers are actually arguing back. I hope you treat your employees nice atleast. Just CHILL! I am a laid back person, and would have been fine with a simple "sorry, I can't accept these" and would have been a return customer. Disappointed! read more

Skip this place and RUN to the nearest salon in any direction. I guarantee it will be world's better than these people. First, the "new girl" that was going to do my manicure decided that she could also do a shellac manicure when I changed my mind after an unsolicited sales pitch from the nail tech walking by. Unknowingly, I was allowing her to train on the job. She said she used to do hair and always wanted to do nails (what!). Needless to say, the shellac mani was a mess with different employees flitting in and out attempting to help and correct the deformed hills on my fingertips. All the while, someone I can only assume was the manager was setting up tables in the middle of the salon and displaying cheap jewelry she was selling. Really?! First off, who wouldn't want to be pampered, painted, and massaged? hmmmmm I would like to (raise hand). I live near this place and decided to check it out, I walked in and got a manicure for my birthday. After finding out it was my birthday, they gave me a discount (who doesn't love a discount and birthday love?!?!) I have gone back various times for pedicures and it is great! The prices are reasonable (about $30 for a 30-minute pedicure). They do not skimp on the massages, which I believe to be the most important part of any pampering, and the polish will last for weeks! They have chairs for the tikes that feature bears and princesses so moms, aunts, siblings, or whoever can bring their young ones! They also told me last visit you can rent out the place for a girls (or guys) night and they will feature snacks and music, etc.... So I may be trying this soon!!! read more

I scouted out a cheap salon close to work and found this place 5 minutes away. I made an online appt same day, had a 30 minute express mani ($20) and was out the door to return to work in 45. It was $21 with tax. Lee was absolutely fabulous. He did a great job and was so sweet and personable. I'll definitely return soon for a pedi. I've gone here in and off since they opened! My vinyl mani from Paige has lasted over a week with no chips! I should add that I live in Chicago and take public transportation so my nails are constantly swiping etc and that I type on a keyboard all day everyday! This place seems clean with a good atmosphere. Wasn't really impressed overall with my service but my 5 year old daughter's nails looked nice which is the main reason I was there. I appreciated how they got her in promptly even though we were a bit early for the appt. I was looking for the princess chairs they had on their website but apparently they recently got rid of them. By far the worst manicure I've ever had. I didn't have time to have her redo the polish, that by the way I could have done better myself. Which is ridiculous since that's why I'm paying someone to do it rather then do myself since it should looked better than what I can do on my own! So tomorrow I will have to completely take it off and redo it myself since I won't have time to stop somewhere else. Three events in a weekend I need to look nice for and I feel like my nails look like a child painted them... so disappointing. and when I try to explain what was wrong she just tried to hide it with another coat instead of fix it. A HUGE step up from the woman I used to go to.. Who is a very well known nail tech & "highly recommended". My gel nails always look great and never peel or chip off before the two week time period they guarentee them until. They have a very wide assortment of colors for the gel nails.
