We ended up getting coleslaw and pasta salad for our sides. The melt was my favorite with a generous amount of avocado and the tasty honey wheat bread. I love this place so much that I've gone there both days of my trip here! This cute and casual restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch. You order at the window and can either take it to go or eat outdoors on the patio. The latte is so rich and good! Charming lunch oasis close to the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park in Grand Lake. There's free parking in the street and plenty of outdoor seating. You order your food and drink at their deck ordering window, and they take your prepayment and name, so you can later pick up your order at another window, where you can also pick up aluminum foil, napkins and utensils, and you can pick up some cold water as well. We sat in their shaded patio. Outdoor seating in the patio. There are small seating tables in the covered deck as well. I had their Reuben sandwich, which was huge and came with a side of pasta salad, and my girlfriend had the Grand Avenue wrap, with turkey/roasted red pepper hummus/provolone/cole slaw, also substantial, and with a side of pasta salad. We both ate one half of our sandwiches and foiled wrapped the other half to take on our hike later at Rocky Mountain National Park. With beers and tip the tab was close to $40, but the service was fast, the pickup setup was efficient, and you cannot beat the location if you are planning to visit the national park after lunch. read more

Nothing I hate more than inconsistency! First time we came here we had amazing pasta salad and good sandwiches, so we came back the next year. The pasta salad wasn't the same and the sandwiches were just okay. It has gone downhill with each visit, but we keep giving it another chance. This time, I tried the comfort soup.
