Food, service, ambiance- all amazing! The sandwiches and the bread they came in were some of the best ingredients I have ever had in a sandwich! My mom got the Rueben and my sister got the tuna- both also delicious! Highly recommend the pasta salad as a side! The people that work there are so kind and patient! The patio is dog and kid friendly! Highly recommend!

My wife and I ordered the #1 Melt and Roast and Toast from Cy's Deli to go to take to RMNP. Both sandwiches were a nice size and came with a side. We ended up getting coleslaw and pasta salad for our sides. The melt was my favorite with a generous amount of avocado and the tasty honey wheat bread. The roast and toast was delicious with the roasted red pepper aioli. The service was excellent and the deli had a cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommend this deli if you're looking for a good sandwich.

This is a perfect little lunch spot. Fresh tasting food with HUGE sandwiches. We had the Tic Tac and #1 Melt. Super good! Dog friendly porch area!

I love this place so much that I've gone there both days of my trip here! This cute and casual restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch. You order at the window and can either take it to go or eat outdoors on the patio. The latte is so rich and good! I also got breakfast sandwiches both days - eggs, cheese and a avocado on an English muffin. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito yesterday and the Rueben sandwich today. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and speedy. Highly recommend!

Ok .. I'm a foodie and kinda picky. I struggled to find anything really good to eat on this trip. Scenery and wildlife were amazing .. food was a struggle. I don't do burgers and struggle with meat. I was thrilled this deli had white meat tuna salad sandwiches. the bread was good ... sandwich was very good but large. I wish we would have just shared a sandwich and chips. My husband got the rubin and it was also good .. meat tender and lean. we tried the pasta salad .. it was just ok .. rather plain. If your in the area .. i recommend this deli. They had some seating inside and out. Dog bowl nice touch.

We both got their #1 deli sandwiches and loved it!

AMAZING! We enjoyed eating the deli sandwiches near the lake. You may have to wait a while for your sandwiches but it is worth the wait!

Greetings While visiting beautiful Grand Lake we ate at…read moreGrand Pizza twice because it was so good. We ordered the large Antipasto salad and it was so fresh and crunchy. This is a big salad be warned. We ordered a 14 inch pizza the first visit and a 12 the second, these pies are well dressed with the toppings of your choosing and baked perfectly. The manager Kelsey was very nice, cheerful, attentive to her customers. Our server was also wonderful. The atmosphere is typical of a pizza restaurant but, I was there to eat and not critique their ambience. If you're in Grand Lake and hungry stop on in and enjoy.

This is a tricky one to rate. Yes, the pizza was very good, but the price for pizza felt a little…read morehigh, even considering the location. As I took our pizzas to go, I have no opinion about the service itself. Ordering at the front desk was easy enough. No issues there! From looking at the place, it is a bit small. Nothing too fancy. Honestly, seems a bit dingy. I was happy with our decision to take it to go so we could enjoy being outside on a great Grand Lake day. We got a cheese pizza (14", $21) and the pesto chicken specialty pizza (16", $36.70). Both were very tasty and not overly greasy. The dough is very soft with the appropriate amount of chew--very dangerous as it was so yummy! They didn't skimp on the toppings, too. So, overall, it is a very good pizza. The value proposition here, though, is tough. There's a sliding scale of pizza value, and I think this ends a bit on the expensive side, even when making considerations for location. At the same time, I do think this is the best pizza you can get in the area. You just don't have many, quality options in this area, so the lack of competition might be keeping the prices higher here (not to mention it being a mountain town). I would come back here after trying other food in town.

The menu is outstanding, however one gets what they pay for and this isn't where one would take children or those who want a quick meal. All of this review is written to improve future dining experiences for others. The historic rapids lodge restaurant is trying to be a fine dining experience when they don't have the front of house service, nor kitchen experience to hold that standard that they are having you pay for. ($82 ribeye, $21 deviled eggs, etc..) It is a beautiful venue on the river I will give it that. We also had a LARGE party, and I recognize fully how difficult that can be, but it was my sister in laws engagement day and celebration. We tried to set our reservation months in advance (as we were a LARGE party and wanted them to be prepared) and they didn't respond to our several calls until a month before (not bad), then the night of the event they were not even close to prepared. The host walked us into the restaurant without the tables set up, WE had to help set them up because they didn't know how many were in our party nor how to seat us. We didn't get silverware until we asked twice, we didn't have enough water for 20 minutes, we didn't get menus after sitting at the table. Those are the base line issues that any restaurant should have down, especially one with this price tag. The fine dining issues I want to mention, they don't have wine menu's to pair their food with. We never had enough bread for the 17 of us (we got a quarter loaf at a time). I see the owners vision, and he tried to make up for the mistakes with free sides and dessert, but while he was a pretty good host I don't think he has the staff to accomplish a fine dining experience. Overall, disappointing experience for the price point, and mid tier experience for a dining experience at one quarter the price point. To the restaurant, meet the bare minimum before you try to charge $100 a head. Get a wine list and prepare your waiters when you're charging $24 a glass. Train your staff to care about the menu and know what they're talking about with food and wine pairings. I know it's not denver, so if you can't find people like this in grand lake or train them yourself, LOWER YOUR PRICE POINT and change your business plan to upscale casual. Please. P.S. We still tipped 20+%, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until they try to adjust their business plan.

I was told 15 to 20 minutes and arrived right at the 20 minute mark, but it was obvious the pizza had been sitting there much longer. It was served up ice cold. Even the dollops of ricotta tasted like they were added after the pizza was made, straight from the refrigerator. I am not exaggerating when I say ice cold, despite parts of the pizza being burnt. The edges of the crust were burnt, not in a good wood fired way with flavor, but just hard, overcooked, and inedible. While the toppings were generous, the pizza itself was extremely dry, just like others have mentioned. As I waited, I could see into the kitchen and noticed they were using pre made crusts, basically the kind you would grab at a grocery store when you do not feel like making your own. Charging $47 for that? No thanks. I hate wasting food, but we could not even finish this pizza. It was that bad. That is on me for not checking reviews beforehand. We should have just stuck with our usual spot, Grand Pizza, which happened to be closed for mud season. The difference in quality is night and day. I just want to warn others before they make the same mistake and waste their money like I did. Definitely will not be back.
