I work across the street from the place, and I don't go there. I went in during COVID, and the cook had no mask or any other protective garb. I'm sorry but this place isn't even a "single" never mind a grand slam. I stopped in and ordered a super roast beef. The first sign was it took a while for the sandwich. The roast beef wasn't fresh.... It was reheated.....not good then the bun was stale! I asked for lettuce mayonnaise salt and pepper. The only thing they put on was lettuce. Very dry sandwich. Stand up little place-- standard deli fare. Not out of this world, but definitely not bad either. I usually stop by here for breakfast on my way to work. I can get an actual meal here versus crap from Dunkin across the street for the same price. It's always quiet on the weekday mornings at least, if there's anyone else in the place it's usually only one group. Coffee is pretty standard; on par with Dunkins. Eggs/bacon/homefries are all a little greasy but nothing that detracts from the experience. Definitely worth stopping by if you're hungry and in the area. read more

So my coworkers and I ordered from here the other day having never been here before we got a few different items to try. The first thing was the garlic cheese bread it was delicious very similar to papaginos bread sticks if you have ever had them. The second was Buffalo tenders these were the worst thing of our order they weren't very well breaded there was alot if just bare chicken with Buffalo sauce (Frank's red hot). The curley fries where very good. We also got two Roast beef sandwiches these where very large sandwiches on nicely toasted buns the roast beef was a little dry but with the condiments on the sandwich it was good. All in all I would come here again definitely get the cheese bread and try some other things! read more

Here's my 6 month update: Ok now I've just stopped going to Grand Slam all together. Their customer service continues to surprise me how low it can get. It was bad enough when they kept losing my order and burning my pizza. Mind you I go here on my lunch break at work so its not like I got 2 hours to wait for them to fix their screw up. Well now, the last time I was there I ordered a large cheese over the phone at literally 3:58 pm, and picked it up at 4:25 or so. The woman refused to give me the 4-8 pm discount listed on their website. According to her since the order went in at 3:58 and not 4 pm, no soup for me! I have been working in the Canton area for the summer and was struggling to find a good place to grab lunch until I found this little deli, I have driven by it a few times and didn't think much of it because it looked small from the street. Boy was I ever wrong, when you step inside it is a good size place with tables and bar seating. The menu is pretty big and diverse. You can get salads, wraps, hot and cold subs, some hot meals, deli meat, pasta salads and breakfast. I would highly recommend the Cal Ripken (Chicken Caesar Wrap), the best I ever had! read more

I was in the area for lunch so I decided I'd stop in. The place is nice and clean and it has a real around the way kind of feel to it. I ordered a pastrami and swiss on rye with deli mustard. The sandwich was phenomenal!! The pastrami was hot, the cheese was melted, and the bread was well toasted. The deli mustard was right on time and complemented the sandwich beautifully. The service left a little to be desired but it was quick and efficient although not very friendly. Stumbled upon this place on Yelp one day and decided to try it out - my first visit, I ordered a chicken broccoli alfredo with ziti and it comes with melted cheese on top with a side of garlic bread. Portion of pastas here are huge, you can definitely eat two meals worth with one order of pasta and I really enjoy it here. I've also tried the steak and cheese sub which is also a great choice, as well as the super roast beef sandwich. People who work the registers here are super friendly, and I'm only saying that because I've visited other local spots and people tend to seem like they're not so welcoming if you're not their usual customers which is odd cuz wouldn't you want new customers walking through the door? I work nearby and decided to give them a try after going to another deli much closer to my work that has terrible food and service, and is way overpriced. I am happy to say that Grand Slam is a cut above that other deli! The roast beef is delicious and plentiful and doesn't cost an arm and a leg when you add on cheese, pickles and anything else you desire. The black pastrami sandwich is flavorful, lean and tasty on an onion roll, which are soft and fresh. My one minor disappointment so far has been the Italian sub, only because it could have used more meat. This has become my Friday lunch treat and with a huge menu selection, it could be years before I could try everything! I see a lot of knocks on the service here and yes, it is lacking as is typical of places like this, but for take out, you can;t beat the food, variety and prices. read more

Got a coupon from Restaurant.com, figured I'd give this place a try. Grand Slam has a sister restaurant in Canton on Rt. 138. Had to purchase at least $35.00 worth of food. Got a large Grand Slam special pizza, a small extra cheese pizza, a lrg. steak bomb sub and a lrg. order of buffalo wings. Coupon was accepted without any issue. Sampled all of the items when I got home. What can I say, nothing horrible, but nothing really great either, I guess that garners an average score. I would not return if I did not have a coupon. This review is for the Canton location for lunch/dinner. Grand Slam has the BEST GREEK SALAD DRESSING AROUND! We do takeout/delivery and our order includes at least 1 Greek salad every time. We've brought it to office pot lucks a few times and it's always a hit. Their bleu cheese dressing is top notch for a bleu cheese lover. The Greek pizza is my favorite meal. All the pizza is Greek-style pizza, so if you don't like that type of crust/thickness, you won't love it. However, I prefer thin-crust Italian-style pizza and am a total pizza snob, so the fact that I always order myself the Greek pizza is a testament to how delicious it is. We just got a catering order from Grand Slam for my husband's birthday party and everyone really enjoyed the food. Our only complaint is that they are closed on Sundays. read more

I work right across the street from the Canton location and love it. Their Margherita pizza is one of the best I've had (EVER), and you can't go wrong with any of their burgers or sandwiches. I recently got the Uncle Junior Panini, which consisted of fresh chicken cutlet (I believe they make it there), sliced tomato, spinach, fresh mozzarella, and a chipotle mayo and it's on a ciabatta roll I believe.
