Came here for a food pop up. Stayed for the vibes and amazing cocktails. There is a large selection of drinks with skilled bartenders to help you find the perfect drinks. They also have a huge alcohol selection of bottles to buy! You could look at all the bottles they have all day ha!

Well looks like I found my new favorite little escape! Me and my friend went for a quick catch up that turned into a few hours of good chats and even better wine. We ended up doing a flight where the talented and funny owner/bartender poured me three amazing glasses. My favorite was the Giosot super refreshing but at the same time velvety and smooth and I'm not a huge fan of whites. We went for the small bites which included the black been hummus(YUM!), cucumber salad and the tin fish. I know who you're thinking Tin Fish?! Don't let the canned fish scare you away, we got the scallops and it was great with the pickled onions and fresh cracked pepper and salt on the pita bread. Also, if you're looking for a sustainable restaurant these are your people! Plates and silverware were all recyclable. Can't wait to give this gem another try!

Tonight we checked out South Grand's newest addition for some wine before dinner in the neighborhood. The small space was warm and welcoming, and we were glad to visit Mike's new venture. We were celebrating my mom's birthday and had a great experience. There is a short menu of small plates and wine by the glass. There's also a selection of agave spirits, and wines by the bottle can be grabbed from the shelves along the walls and served at your table for a small corkage fee. My mom and I had flights, and my partner had two glasses from the by the glass menu. All the wines were excellent, and we plan to come back for flights and charcuterie soon. Grand Spirits is also open during the day as a bottle shop, and I'm excited to have an option for wine by the bottle in the neighborhood that isn't a grocery store.

Cute place to stop in for a cocktail. Many bottle options to choose from wine to unique spirits. Speakeasy on basement, so cool!

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.

The food- 3 of 4 of us said it was just ok. The other really liked theirs. We had 2 different pastas & 2 different sandwiches. Calabrian carbonara & citrus fettuccine. They were both kinda bland & not much flavor. Large portions. Wagyu reuben & smoked french. The reuben was a hit. The smoked french was too smoky. We had the pumpkin ricotta appetizer. It was pretty tasty. And the caesar was a large portion & decent flavor.

Walking through those doors felt like stepping into the wine-and-spirits version of Costco or Sam's Club: expansive, well-organized, and full of pleasant surprises around every corner. One of the biggest highlights? Free tastings and samples throughout the store. There was even a private room where a gentleman was leading what appeared to be an educational tasting or teaching session -- a nice touch that elevates the whole visit. Prices are reasonable, the selection is enormous, and the customer service is genuinely excellent. Shopping carts are available so you can browse at leisure and stock up without juggling bottles in your arms. With approximately four locations throughout the St. Louis area, there's likely one near you. Please -- when given the opportunity, check it out. It is absolutely worth the trip.
