Hidden gem in a gas station. This is authentic! Friendly service and reasonable prices! I'm excited to try more here!

Tucked away in a Sunoco gas station is this incredible gem. The burritos are stuffed and the prices are low. Everything on the menu slaps.

Grandview Diner is quite an interesting concept. It's basically a gas station and convenience store, so it doesn't sound like much. What makes it unique is there's actually good food served. A gas station and edible food aren't supposed to mix. This place somehow pulls it off. I had the vegetarian burrito. It's about $5 for a good sized burrito. This is filled with fresh tasting vegetables. All the food is made to order. The food at gas stations has usually been there months or years. It's also fun to walk around. They have a lot of cool art work. It's not often you aren't in a hurry to leave a gas station, but this is an exception. The art is by local artists and some is for sale. It looks like nothing special from the front. It's pretty easy to miss. They are only open for breakfast and lunch times.

This place not only knocked my socks off, but my shoes and my shoe laces as well wow what a place. I went here to park my car, to take a break from driving. So I decided to go in and get a drink, but I kept noticing different things, that made me stay longer, I know now that whenever I come here its far more than a gas station it is four places in one!! (Although they advertise 3 places at one) A Gas Station, A Restaurant, A Convince Store As well as an art museum. Everyone seem to take pride in this place, From the cashier Chris, To The cooks to the owners. They greet everyone with a smile, and many by name, since this place, has so many regulars. When the owner came in, I saw him go to each employee, and said, hows your day, is everything going okay? He addressed me and said how is the food? is it to your satisfaction? is there anything that we can do for you? You would think they were filming undercover boss, but nope this is just a regular day in the office. These guys get it right, The menu, they keep it simple, it very clear-cut pricing, easy to read so it helps you choose fast, and get about your day. I know you guys are wondering, what about the food? Well know worries their I had the fish, and it was go good you may want to smack your mama!! So why Did I take a picture of the bathroom? Well its so usual, for this "SO-CALLED" Pit stop to have the decor of a fancy hotel lobby. This place was built with heart, and detail, you can tell ti through and through, From The front of the house, to the back of the house, you can tell it has one thing in mind: A positive atmosphere. They even have detail in the music that they play, they keep it on Sunny 95. And their pride in OHIO is shown with the Buckeye Decor here! Many business, can take a page out of this business. They May not be A mega Speedway or Circle K Change, But this place is a all about community, to me it doesn't get much better than that!

Wierd location but it was not far from my work. This is my first visit. It appears to do a brisk lunch business I had the fish po boy... tasted good but messy with all the tarter sauce. I think I'll ask for tarter sauce on the side next time. It came with fries ...decent.. I would have been ok without them I also had pasta salad as second choice as first choice potato salad was gone. Summary: good place to get a sandwich with hot or cold selections I'll be back to try other items

Great service. Good food. Cozy seating. Unexpectedly pretty good for being attached to a gas station!

Not just as gas station, they've got all the local and hard to find beers and a pretty great diner. Great breakfast burritos too.

He was my server on a previous visit and had the same poor attitude then, so unfortunately today's experience was not surprising. Hospitality and customer service matter, especially in the restaurant industry, and a tip is not automatically given it's earned through good service and professionalism. Today, we went in and the man working the bar was once again rude and unwelcoming. When you ask for something, there's no "yes," "no problem," or even basic communication -- just a look. My son ordered a side of bacon with his meal, and they only brought one slice. We asked twice for the second slice and still never received it. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge the mistake, or communicate with us professionally. He eventually removed it from the bill, but the issue was never really the bacon it was the attitude and complete lack of hospitality. The food here is honestly good, which is why I've continued to come back. However, experiences like this make the environment feel uncomfortable and uninviting. I would probably visit much more often if the staff were friendlier, more attentive, and actually made customers feel welcome.

The egg & cheese sandwich on their home made English muffin was amazing as well. Tried the Big 'Ol Pancake as well........It's definitely big & cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be visiting again, soon.

Charming decor and friendly staff. However, my experience was ruined due to an error on my take out order. I placed an order for three additional meals with an add on order of sausages. Easy, right? I initially thought so, so I wasn't concerned about my order being incorrect. I get home and my order is missing main items like pancakes, french toast, utensils, and it looked as if the order was just slapped together. I call immediately and I explained that I just had an eaten there and then ordered additional takeout and my takeout order was incorrect. The nice young lady apologized and offered to have it remade. Now I accepted that and also stated since I have to come back up there what other compensation can you provide me. She then transfers me to the incredibly Customer Service oriented manager named Juan. I do hope you can sense the sarcasm. As I explained my situation to him stating what items have been missed, what was wrong with the order and what I expected ask a reasonable solution to this situation. He then goes on and asked me several questions over and over again about the takeout meal, I explained to him one more time to which he cut me off, overtalked me, and really wasn't listening to resolve my issue. When he asked again what I ordered I said I already told you. At which point, he cursed and said he did not want to be "a$$ hole" and basically gave me the impression that he was unwilling to fix this situation. So I told him I was going to speak to him in a nicer tone that he was talking to me that I wanted him to remake the meal. I would be there in 10 minutes and I would like it piping hot. To Juan's credit my food was ready once I arrived however, he proceeds to tell me that his waitress and his expediter both checked the order and it was correct when it left. Which wasn't true obviously. As a matter of fact, my friend said she watched the waitress grab the bag and didn't open it and just came to the table. I don't have a reason to go get free food from an establishment where I've already paid and tipped the server. Second of all he indirectly called me a liar to my face, which is poor service in its own right. Thirdly, when I asked what other compensation he was willing to provide me, he just simply smiled and said no he wasn't going to do anything. Juan needs to go back to the beginning of where Customer Service starts in order to be a better front of the house manager, because when your server makes an error, you own it you do not place the blame back on the customer. Juan needs to be retrained on how to actually service people, he does not know how to talk to anyone. He did not know how to de-escalate the situation. I have been in Customer Service for 25 years and 15 of those have been working in an escalation department that was the worst interaction I believe I have ever encountered with a manager to resolve a situation. I mean Wendy's resolved issues better than this. Being that this was my first time coming to Delaney's, it will also be my last time. Because if you treat any customers the way you treated me, is clear he has no respect for the patrons of this establishment.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.
