We had decided to have new windows and sliding door replaced due to the originals being 21 years…read moreold. The gas barrier in them had leaked thus causing moisture inside, some windows had rotted frames along with the walk out door. We placed a request through home advisor and quickly received calls for quotes. Originally we seen ads for windows (double hung) at Lowes, Menards and Home Depot but those were leaders and the actual cost of a good window was much more. Home Depot scheduled our first review and demo. Of coarse we were a bit blown away at replacement window cost overall. We received a quote of the options we agreed to. Next window world came around for a quote. I told them not to bother if they couldn't match HD's quote or lower. They arrived and put on quite a demonstration. There were a couple of options but they were capable of coming up with a comparable quote and options as compared to HD. They did a tough measurement before they left. A few days later we got a call and had a 2nd measurement scheduled. We now will wait about 4-6 weeks for windows to be built. We received a call that our windows had arrived and we scheduled an install date. Because of the amount of Windows we ordered it would be at least 2 days for the install. Everything up to this point has been has been communicated and on schedule. This is how a good company operates. The installers arrived on Monday at the time stated and dug right in to work. They prepped their equipment, re-measured windows and verified their inventory and sizes for each window. They all had a job from marking ahead, cutting old windows out and installing the replacements. The replacements were usually handled by 2 persons, 1 inside and 1 outside. They made sure all was straight and accurate. I've read that the key to a good window is the install. They also had 2 octagon windows and a sliding door, difficult locations to access some windows, but took it all in strid. Everything was YES SIR, YES MADAM. They had a few obstacles and genuinely overcome them. The installation took almost 4 days in total. A couple of guys came back to finish up and a representative was sent out to review their work and ask if we had any questions. They cleaned everything up and it looked like they were hardly there. I did fine 2 Windows that were not chalked on the inside. No big deal as they were sealed from the outside. Later in the last day, they had left, the sales lady showed up and looked everything over and took some pictures. She also followed up with scheduling the follow up to chalk the last 2 windows. That was scheduled on Friday for Monday and they arrived promptly Monday morning to complete. Everything was close to perfection, from the beginning to the end. I can't say enough about how professional the installers were. They spoke highly of Americas Windows and the company and support they receive. They also explained how it is more of a family atmosphere when they all work together. Other than the 2 windows with missed chalk, I currently have no complaints with quality of the windows, the company CSR's and the install crew. Best regards Roger

I will start with the exceptional workmanship/craftsmanship from the installation crews. We had a…read moresun room put on the back of the house. We got quotes from a few places and all quotes were comparable in price. We decided to go with Windows Plus I suppose because we liked Todd, the sales person, also we were impressed with the quality of the windows and that the room was going to be framed instead of a patio enclosure. And we could not be more pleased with the outcome. I know another reviewer stated that it was all done right the first time, that is how we felt about the room edition. My husband is very particular and ALWAYS has a punch list. But not this time. Literally all windows, framing, caulking, installation was perfect (with the exception of a small defect in one of the screens). We have talked to our salesperson, Todd regarding this matter and he will come to take pictures of the room and said they will take care of that, which I don't doubt they will. They had to put a roof onto the back of our house. That was the first part of the project and that happened in early November of 2020. The roofing crew, leg by Daniel put the roof on/ framed the room and poured concrete footers for the windows in 4 days. They were meticulous, cleaned up each day, were polite, answered all our questions and accommodated our needs as they worked. They had to attach the new roof to an existing patio roof as well as the back of the house. Within a couple of weeks the old section of the roof began to leak, we believe due to them walking/working in that area to add the new roof. We called to discuss this with Todd and within a few days the roofers were back and repaired the leak in the old roof. So even though it was a mishap they made it right, right away. At this point they were able to measure for the custom made windows/doors. Once the windows came in they started installation on January 26, 2021. This crew, Brandon, Josh and Matt were as meticulous as the roofer/framers. Again, they could not have been more polite, knowledgeable and professional. They 3 of them worked 3 (10+ hour days) to complete the work. As mentioned above there was no punch list. Everything was done to perfection the first time around. Reason for 4 star and not 5 star review deals with company communication. Although all was done to our sanctification I had to call them to inquire about when the crews were coming. We had made arrangements with the Todd regarding the electrical package and had to get that worked out once electricians got here due to them having different information. The contract stated work would be completed in 12-16 weeks, which would have been by Dec. 19 and the work was actually finished on January 28, 2021. If the company would have called me to let me know they were behind, windows had not arrived, weather delayed work, Covid delayed work I would not have been as concerned but I had to keep calling to find out what was going on and to check on time frames. I do understand things happen but again if timelines had been communicated to me I would have been disappointed but would have understood and would have given a 5 star review. I would recommend the workmanship and the quality of the windows.

Buyer beware! I made an appointment to get an estimate for replacing 14 windows and a palladium…read morewindow. Sales rep was on time but I indicated I had a time crunch....3 hours later we got to the estimate..... an estimate for $54k. But if I agreed to purchase right then and there it would be $45k. And there were strings attached.....give 5 star reviews on multiple sights. When I said that was too expensive he made multiple other offers, finally saying $100 less than a comparable offer. Yeah, right. I was not going to decide that day. The next day an email, 3 phone calls indicating they had other deals available. I blocked them. Their pricing strategy is beyond irksome!

The salesman Scott Moore promised installation in October/November which never happened. Then Andre promised December. That didn't happen either. Allie promised January installation. They came and worked two days and finished half and promised to come back Monday. They never showed up and never called. Finally they came back a MONTH later and finished in February 2025, FIVE MONTHS after we purchased. Chris, the installer, told me I would get an invoice but instead, Aaron had me sued ten days later. Aaron is a piece of work. Aaron yelled at me and when I asked to speak to his Supervisor, he said he didn't have one, yelled some more and hung up on me. No one ever answers the phone in the office. You have to leave message after message to get anyone to respond to you. We contacted our lawyer to answer their lawsuit. Basically they did such a LOUSY job that Aaron wanted to give us $250 to sign a non-disclosure agreement to forbid us to give reviews. WHAT? No way. The installers left debris everywhere and one window sill needed to be replaced and was not. Hopefully they come and fix that but this has been the WORST experience ever with a vendor. RUN AWAY from them please.
