Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. I was dining at a restaurant in Charleston and mentioned I had a very unpleasant experience twice with my pet at an unnamed restaurant. Without any further prompting, she asked me if it was Kiss Cafe. She said she had worked at Kiss Cafe and the staff is known for having a hostile attitude to pets by its patrons.
