It was fresh and I enjoyed the jam, which added a touch of sweetness It's not a huge space, but they have seating both inside and outside. Coffee really stood out compared to the ton of cafes I've been to! The sausage egg cheese bagel was also a succulent breakfast choice which was garnished with honey inside that really went well with the gooey cheese. Staff was also wonderful and accommodating. Island Provisions was a hot spot I found on social media while visiting Charleston. It was a stormy day, so we opted for the John's Island location so we didn't have to try to find downtown parking. I ordered "the Boss", a sausage, egg, and cheese, with a yummy spicy honey drizzle. I've been on a hot honey kick, so I was beyond excited for this. It usually comes on an Everything bagel, but I subbed for an Asiago. I also ordered a vanilla iced latte. The coffee was good, I expected better based on the hype I saw online. Espresso is good (they use Second State) and even their matcha is excellent! -food: sandwiches are really good, even seasonal items and breakfast, they have gluten free bread as well. They have a grab & go section that have salads and yogurts and pre-made sandwiches for convenience -drinks: everything is really good, smoothies are delicious too - especially the Wake Up Call -service: it's order at the counter which means usually a line, especially during the weekends but it moves pretty quickly. The whole staff is super sweet and very courteous. Been a neighbor for going on five months, and first time here. Coffee shop, breakfast sandwiches , Bertolini prepared foods in the freezer Nice selection of local beers Better vibe than Starburnt. Small sandwich menu. I got the Italian Panini, which was lightly pressed with great tasting focaccia and really good potato salad on the side for under 15 bucks. Other than the focaccia falling apart I really enjoyed this. I would add sharp provolone for an extra kick. Was pleased to see they sell Delta nine in a large bottle that you can make mocktails with. This is in an upscale shopping center heading towards the sea islands from the city. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, and in addition to the cafe menu, they sell various premade salads and a few grocery items. I wished they'd have a fresh salad on the menu, but my avocado toast delivered satisfaction, and a caramel pop-tart was appropriately toasted and delicious, as was a strongly flavored chai. The newer downtown location will be more convenient for many, but this place is less crowded. read more

They have a special house crema made with half coconut and half almond milk that I would recommend to anyone! I do like this place a lot and I visit often. Depending on who is working, you will get a friendly experience. Not rude, but just not as friendly. The owner himself is very nice. Yay for a great coffee shop on Johns Island! This is exactly what we needed -- a cute space to get out of the house for breakfast / lunch and a cup of coffee. They also sell some premade food items, local wares, and have a large wine selection. On my first visit I had a delicious latte and a bagel with hot honey cream cheese (highly recommend!). The best avocado toast- what makes it so good? It starts with Crusty but soft and hearty bread- just the right amount of chili pepper and pickled red onion- covered with ? Radish shoots? The iced latte at Island Provisions is one of the best I've had in Charleston! I always get it with cinnamon syrup, or with one of their seasonal syrups. They also offer oat milk which is a plus. I love that you can park directly in front of the store, jump out, order, and be out the door within 5 minutes. Super efficient service and the line always moves quickly. The food here was delicious. I've had homemade pop-tarts from a few different places. I've never been impressed. Theirs were so amazing we ordered more to take home. We always love the bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage and hot honey, and for lunch- my favorite is the veggie sandwich! I also love their potato salad... and their iced chai lattes.
